It’s here. Finally. All the footage has come in and the finishing touches are being made. KATS features the riding of Jon Kehl, Ryan Lewis, Zach White, Colby Shelton, Chase Naylor, Scotty and Adam Lyons, Jenacee Hill, Blake Simkins, Chase Shaw, KC Russel, Ethan Roberts, Colton Brockbank and a few more. Marine-Products is hosting the event at the North Store location. 10% off anything in the store will be offered to those who R.S.V.P. to SLWK through messaging Salt Lake Wake Kats onFaceboo, Twitter or sending an email to slwkblog@gmail.com. There will be enough DVDs for the riders featured in the movie and we will give them out to the riders the night of the premier. Also Marine-Products will provide tasty finger foods for the event as well.

Brandon Judd is no stranger to the Utah Wakeboarding Scene or is he a stranger to cable wakeboarding.  I met Brandon back when he was working at MP SouthTown (RIP) and loved the energy and passion he had for the sport.  Brandon has since transplanted himself in to the heart of the wakeboard scene, Orlando.  During my last visit to the OWC I was shocked/stoked when I was next in line to hit the water and to my surprise Brandon was the cable operator.  Brandon currently coaches at The Wakeboard Camp and is the resident Cable Expert on LearnWake.com.  If you have ever wanted to learn how to cable ride or simply just want to get a jump start on the Utah Cable Scene, this is your chance.

  • Wakeology Wakedance* – July 7th, Last Chance Lakes
  • Fire on the Water – July 14th, Jordanelle Reservoir
  • Wake in The Snake – July 14th, Burley Idaho
  • Wake Up *- July 21st, Pineview Reservoir
  • Wake the Grove – July 28 – Blackfoot ID
  • TBA Wakeboard Tournament* – Sept 15th, Bear Hollow Ski Ranch
