So I get this phone call from Pepper's mom wanting to schedule her senior portraits. During the conversation, she tells me that I better be prepared to have a lot of fun. This caught me off guard because I usually am the one telling them that they should be ready to have some fun.
Needless to say, her mom was right...Pepper brought a friend to her session and together they had me busting at the seams. Then we started the session!
As we were getting to the end of the session, Pepper asked if I could photograph her with her dogs. It is always an interesting time trying to get those animals to smile as well.
I absolutely love how her senior photos turned out and can't wait to take some more of her this summer when the wild flowers are out in Park City.

Have you ever had one of those moments where you had so much fun that your body hurt afterwards from laughing so hard? That is exactly what happened to me after my session with Jessica.
Jessica had an amazing amount of energy and it was definitely contagious. Her smile lit up the studio as we did her senior pictures. We had the music pumping in the studio and her portraits turned out amazing!

From time to time I like to share images I take on my travels. Today's images are of Eastern Siberia, north of the Kamchatka Peninsula. Enjoy this splendid view!
If you look closely you can even see the curvature of the earth! These photos were taken on April 23rd, enroute from Los Angeles to Shanghai, China.
Ok, I admit it. I work too hard and play too little. But last night was different. We took the night off and had a great time. Sherry and I went to see Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Dave Mason at Park City's Egyptian Theater! What an incredible venue to watch live music. And what a great show!
Now I expect everyone wants to see great photos, right? Well, like I said, I took the night off. I did take a couple of cell phone pix...but to a photographer...they are a bit hard to look at. No photos today.

Sherry and I just returned from a memorial celebrating the lives of 3 wonderful family members. A large part of Sherry's extended family attended as we honored Sherry's Mom Lee Croker, her aunt Mercedes Lamberson and uncle Jack Kelly.
You might not think of a cemetary as a must-see. Arlington truly is not to be missed. There is no more poignant reminder of the sacrifices made for our country.
I am blessed to travel around the world in my work. Although there are many wonderful places, none compare with the United States. We are very fortunate to live here. Our country would not be the same were it not for the enormous sacrifices made by citizens and soldiers past and present. It is fitting we honor them in such a beautiful place.
