Starbucks Joins Kadayawan Fun, Promises Exciting Gifts and Treats

New Starbucks Lunch Sandwiches

In a cleverly held lunch at dinner affair at their store in SM Lanang Premier Tuesday evening, I got the chance to sank my teeth on their new selection of mouth-watering lunch sandwiches.

Nothing more welcoming than a plateful of Bacon and Cheese on Herbed Ciabatta Bread (P165). A sinfully delicious gooey grilled cheese sandwich coupled with crispy bacon strips ostensibly comprised by six types of cheeses namely Gruyere, Emmenthal, Provolone, Mozzarella, Festa and Cheddar. The lingering distinct taste of creamy pesto seasoning every after bite makes this sandwich a personal favorite of mine.

Tuna and Cheese on Dark Ciabatta bread (P175) - a juicy and hearty healthy sandwich is substantial to a satisfying lunch. A classic tuna dill salad paired with slices of hard-boiled egg with a creamy melted cheese sandwiched in toasted dark ciabatta bread. Once this reach your palate, you're gonna have a hard time restraining yourself from asking for more. Truly, nothing can go wrong with this one.

At P165 an order, Salami and Cheese on Marbled Rye Bread gives you a soft and chewy bread filled with sliced savory salami, provolone and cheddar cheese. This made it to our not-to-miss list so make sure you don't pass up and take your fair share of this when at Starbucks.

Spinach Artichoke and Mushroom on Herbed Multi-Grain Bread is obviously for vegetarians. At P160 per order, one will get a crusty warm artisan multi-grain rye bread stuffed with a delectable blend of cheese, spinach, artichoke, garlic and onions. Distinctively delightful for vegie-loving people.

Other variants of these lunch sandwiches are Club House Sandwich and Roasted Chicken Pesto and Shiitake Mushroom on Flat Bread (P165).

The Starbucks Card

Dabawenyos have another reason to love Starbucks more as it is now turning our every visit into rewards. On the 7th of August 2013, Starbucks announced the launched of its iconic Starbucks Card in all Starbucks stores in the country.

Finally got to hold my first Starbucks Card. :)

It basically works like a loyalty card but much more than the conventional ones. You can use this card to earn stars every time you order and exchange it with goodies once certain number of stars has been accumulated. The best thing about it is that you don't have to pay by just getting the card. If you're trying to get one, ask for it at any Starbucks store and activate it by reloading your card with Php300 credit. You can absolutely use all your credits up to the last cent to buy your favorite food or beverage, so logically, you are not paying for the card.

Davao Central 911 Acquires Mass-Casualty Incident (MCI) Ambulance

PREPARING for mass casualty incidents, Davao Central 911 augments its fleet by acquiring its first MCI (Mass-Casualty Incident) Ambulance.

No official statement from the agency nor from the city government of Davao has been released to confirm the acquisition so far, but its existence can be affirmed by the videos and photos circulating online.The materials hit the cyberspace several days after Central 911 chief Emmanuel Jaldon admitted last month that the agency needs fifteen more ambulances to effectively carry-out their tasks.

A Youtube video uploaded by user autolightxpress shows the purportedly new MCI ambulance which bore stickers that read DIAL 911 -something commonly borne by all enforcement vehicles in the city.

The official seals of Davao Central 911 and City Government of Davao are also embedded on the vehicle's body.

More photos show the exterior and interior components of the vehicle.

Since this development hasn't been reported in the mainstream media yet, its features and capabilities are still unknown. As to when will it be put into service, we are also yet to know. For sure, it won't be long. :)

Davao Central 911 currently serves the whole 1.2M populace of Davao City with only twelve ambulances and several units of fast-reaction emergency motorcycles (photo below).

UPDATE:
It seems like the vehicle has already been transported to Davao City. In a status posted on Facebook, Davao City PSSCC Department Head Frank Villaroman announced, the ambulance costs around 15 Million Pesos and can carry as much as 15 persons at a time. The post also said the ambulance is equipped with sets of state-of-the-art medical equipment from Italy, and can extend its services even to neighboring cities and provinces (once requested).

Samal Island: Sunset Beach Park and its Vibrant Night Life

After months of being bombarded with school works, finally had a chance to have a short break in Samal Island last weekend. It's been quite a while since I've been to IGACOS (prolly, December 2011) and to be back was exhilarating. :))

I was with my school buddies this time. ;)

Good thing to note that improvements at the ferry ports have been done. There's now its dedicated passenger lounge with several food stalls (Davao City port) in it. Though relatively small, still better than not having one. Hopefully, they can expand it further the soonest, considering the rise of visitors IGACOS is receiving each year.

Since we only had the whole night to spend, we chose not to go further than the Babak area. We suited ourselves at Sunset Beach Park, which is just about 5-minute tricycle ride from the ferry port. There were no more available cottages nor huts when we got there so we ended up getting a small tent (good for 3 persons) for Php350. We didn't actually intend to sleep at all, and we just needed a place to store our stuffs, so we thought a tent will do.

The place was jam-packed. We almost had a hard time finding a spot to mount our tent on. Fortunately, a leaving family offered their spot to us.

There's us, cam whoring after mounting our tent. The spot was perfect- just right on the beach, about a meter away from the sea water.

We ate dinner at Campo Uno Sand Bar & Grill. The bar is okay, the food is good too.

Not sure if this happens every night, but there was an acoustic duo playing when we were there. Fire dancers perform every weekend too, and we're delighted that we were able to see it.

What I like about Sunset Beach Park is that there were no videoke machines around. You have myriad of choices there too. If you feel like dancing, you can do that at the other bars. If you want a serene and quiet stay, you can suit yourself at the silent parts of the strip.

We'd also like to commend the staffs of Campo Uno Sand Bar & Grill for their hospitality and great service. Thank you! :))

Davao City seen from Sunset Beach Park, Samal Island

The place reminds me a bit of Boracay. A strip of businesses with entertainment functions settled right on the beach. Well, it's Boracay sans the luxury. Of course it's kind of wrong to compare it with Boracay, but my point is, if you want to experience partying on the beach, you can certainly do it here. Boracay might be superior in several aspects, but the atmosphere is almost the same.

We really had a great time at Sunset. Will we be coming back? Definitely! The whole class is actually now in talks for our next trip. :))

The moment I learned that Coca-cola will be holding an event for its completed project in a community in Marilog, I didn't hesitate to cover it. Marilog, a distant district from the downtown Davao area, is a place I've always wanted to explore.

Coca-Cola, in partnership with EarthDay Network Philippines and other NGOs, is turning over yet another completed Agos Ram Pump Project. Agos (flow) is a flagship program of the Coca-Cola Philippines in line with their celebration of its 100 years in business. The Agos Ram Pump Project installs hydraulic ram pump systems in upland rural communities around the country.

We left for Marilog about 7am and arrived a little past 9am, a roughly 2-hour road trip. We were greeted by the locals led by their Barangay Chairman and right then and there we learned that majority of the population are Indigenous People. That made me more grateful I embarked on that trip as I have this immense interest in stories and lives of IP.

In the first hours, the temperature in the area was at its lowest. I know beforehand that Marilog is a cool place, but an action-packed day was I had in mind so I didn’t care bringing a jacket. I ended up crumpled in cold. Haha Fortunately, they served coffee to warm us up.

We then headed off to the spring where the locals get their water in the past. They wanted to show us how far and difficult the trail the locals need to endure just to fetch water. The spring is about 400meters away from where they get their water today which is just beside the highway. I like venturing on adventure trips thus was elated to learn that we’re gonna be doing that.

The way through there wasn’t an easy undergoing. Several members of the group slipped in some part. Steep, slippery, dangerous. My excitement reposed when people started to slightly get hurt. Had it not rained the previous day, we must have had a much better way through. Gladly, people from the foundation were closely guiding us all throughout the trek. Gladly, no one seriously got hurt.

Silly may it seem, but I actually enjoyed that part of the trip. It gave me a better understanding the importance of the project in that community.

From the water sources downhill, the ram pumps the water to a storage tank built uphill. From there, water is then supplied to several communal tap strategically located around the community. You will be surprised that this system has been existing for over 200 years now. An eco-friendly system operating with a zero carbon footprint using just the natural kinetic energy from the free-flowing water.

The project greatly spares the populace from the time and effort spent daily considering how daunting fetching water downhill is in the past.

Walay Kaparehas na Lessons and Experience

I was extremely grateful that I was able to grab that once in a life time opportunity. To Coca-cola for granting my dream which is to experience being in a community like this. This trip inspired me a lot. I had so many realizations that day; things that I thought do not matter at all.

I admit, I often tend to waste water and this trip taught me to give importance not just for the water, but for everything that I possess. :)

Coca-Cola is one of the possessions I won't trade for something else for sure. The delicious and refreshing taste that is unique to Coca-cola is what keeps me longing for it more each day.

Certainly, a meal won't be complete without a glass of Coca-cola. A flavor that promises fun and refreshment. A brand that excels in keeping its customers happy all the time, including me and my family! :)

Bahay Ni Tuding: A Comfort Away from Home

Upon the invitation of the Travel Teller himself, Sir Olan Emboscado, I was able to visit this superb place last week and was genuinely delighted for the opportunity. :)

Behind the towering buildings of San Pedro street is this quaint and classy place called Bahay ni Tuding Inn and Resto. San Pedro, one of the city's oldest and busiest streets, is known for its large shopping centers but not much with hospitality establishments. I was stunned to learn that such place actually exist in this part of the city.

Upon entry, you will be greeted by its captivating facade; actually reminded me of Spanish-era structures (or anything close to that. lol). Inside, one could not help but to notice how chic its interior design is. A touch of modern and minimalist architecture- its walls are flourished with unique furnishings and interesting artistic pieces, a visual feast one would surely enjoy.

Seems like a good spot to enjoy a Mojito drink. :)))

Bahay ni Tuding, which brands itself as a home away from home, hosts 12 spacious and chicly designed air-conditioned rooms perfect for anyone who seeks not just comfort but an exhilarating stay as well. Each room has its cable TV, intercom phones, and hot and cold shower. These features alone manifests the convenience one could experience here.

Considering the rates, sulit na sulit talaga! ;)

One aspect that comprises a good hotel is the food, and Bahay ni Tuding is just perfect at that. To compliment the 'bahay' theme, they chose to offer dishes that are commonly cooked at home like humba, bulalo and chicken to name a few. There is myriad of choices to choose from in its in-house restaurant and everything will be prepared by its own chef, Nice.

One of my favorites is their Garden Salad. It consists four varieties of lettuce dressed with strawberry vinaigrette (which they personally make) topped with boiled egg and several slices of Tinapa.

It is simply the conventional turon paired with a tablea dip. It's a bit clever and ingenious. Just so you know, Davao City produces one of the world's best tablea. Utilizing tablea doesn't only give the food its own identity, it also helps the local farmers. Ayos! :)

Also a good thing to note, their staffs are genuinely courteous, and they smile a lot! The business itself is relatively small which is actually a good thing for me as one could be assured an intimate and superb service. The place is entirely well-kept as well. Even the comfort rooms outside the service rooms are clean and sleek.

Lastly, if you're coming to Davao for the Kadayawan Festival next month, it would wise if you stay at Bahay ni Tuding since the festival's culminating events will be held just a stone's throw away. ;)

Visita New Corella: Discovering Matin-ao Inland Resort

Before June ended, I, together with some friends, ventured on a trip to ComVal. My friend Ate Torence, who originally hails from New Bataan, is coming home for the fiesta, so she tagged the whole gang along. We also did this in the previous year.

At first, I was hesitant to go because I might miss my afternoon class come Monday, but I really wanted to see how the place changed since our last visit so with a little money in my pocket, I hopped on!

ComVal was hardly hit by typhoon Pablo in December and the devastation it caused is still evident during our recent trip. While, some families are still living in evacuation centers, it's good to note that many of the residents there are now living normally. Barog ComVal! :)

We left Davao City on a Sunday and only planned to stay away home for a night, so we didn't stay long in ComVal. After a full day of non-stop eating and drinking, we then bid ComVal adieu for Nabunturan. Our destination, Toyuzu Mountain Resort.

Stoked to be back at Toyozu Mountain Resort.

I first visited the resort in 2008, and since then there's nothing much that changed. Though the resort itself remained conducive place to relax and unwind, the sight going there would spoil your trip. Heart-breaking to say the least.

Mining companies have sprouted almost everywhere. The once elating view has been replaced with agonizing picture. It actually reminded me of the movie Blood Diamond sans the child laborers. *sigh*

Despite of what of we've found out, we didn't let nega vibes get into our nerves and we still managed to enjoy our break.

They've already drained the large pool for cleaning when we got there so we satisfied ourselves with this tiny private pool. As planned, we only stayed at Toyozu for one night and departed morning the next day.

Detour to Matin-ao Inland Resort, New Corella.

En route to Davao City, our driver kuya Glenn suggested that we visit a resort in New Corella in Davao del Norte. Since it was still a bit early and it's just along the way anyway, the group decided to go. Our next destination, Matin-ao Inland Resort.

Poblacion New Corella is about 30minutes ride from downtown Tagum City. Going there must not be hard for anyone as signs are visible along the way. I know nothing about the place until we got there so my expectation of it was relatively low.

From the outside, portions of the resort can already be seen and I didn't need more than that to make my excitement shoot up.

Matin-ao has an ambiance of an expensive resort. The landscapes are well-maintained, walls painted with lively colors, clean and cold water, and ample parking space. Plants and palms are also everywhere.

It was scorching hot when we were there so we really enjoyed the cold water which they said is coming from a natural spring. Matin-ao has seven swimming pools which majority are shaded by nets, with depths ranging from 2ft. to 10ft.

Myriad of dishes can also be ordered at their food hall. Prices are pretty much the same as in Davao City. They also sell ice cream and other beverages.

The main feature of the resort is this Olympic-size (according to them) swimming pool. It was my first time to swam in such a huge pool and it felt really great. :) Its extensive size is a bit eerie when you open your eyes underwater, though. That time, I prayed that no flesh-eating creature would suddenly appear and devour me. Hahaha

Those are not bleachers. It's pretty clever that they made it look like such- resembling those in
Olympics stadiums.

The best thing about Matin-ao is that it's very cheap. Entrance fee is only 35pesos. :)

This trip was indeed cool. Reminds me that there are still plenty of good places that I haven't been to, especially here in Davao Region. Hopefully, more opportunities like this to come this year. :)

P.S. I missed my first two subjects that Monday. Poor me. :3

The Adventures of Toffee: The World's Smartest Dog

Alpo Philippines launched a mini web series last month featuring the world's smartest dog, Toffee. The story revolves around Toffee, a smart and adorable Jack Russell Terrier, who wants every dog to have a taste of good life.

On its first episode, Toffee was trying to convince her Mama to give him only the food he wanted. How do you think a dog could tell this? Toffee got the bestest and most ingenious plan a dog could ever think.

The second episode reminds me of my childhood. I remember when Mama don't let us have our merienda (which I so deserve considering how good I've been growing up. haha) unless we sleep during siesta. My cousins and I loathed that routine but we marvel good food so much that we would trade and do anything for it. Haha

Toffee's adventures didn't end there as his cuteness and cleverness continued on this episode.

Indeed, dogs are more than just pets. I remember when our dog Adele, a brown Jack Russell Terrier, was still with us. She sleeps beside me at night and with my other siblings sometimes. She wakes up my parents in the morning too. She's so active and playful that sometimes she would end up breaking things up. Still, we enjoyed her staying with us.

Don't treat your pets as is. Treat and love them as your own. If you do, it would surely add more happiness into your life.

Also, don't forget to give your pets only the best food. Make sure its quality is top-notch, make sure it's Alpo. ;)

Abreeza Ayala Mall Celebrates Style Origin 2013

Last Saturday, Abreeza Ayala Malls once again celebrated Filipino talent through a show that featured Filipino's creativity and ingenuity in style and fashion. Style Origin is an annual fashion show that previews latest collections from the participating brands.

Wholly embarked by Ayala Malls, Style Origin was first launched in 2012. Locally, it has already drawn a huge number of followers since its inception and is now regarded as one of the most-anticipated fashion events in Davao City.

BlackBerry Z10 coming to the Philippines on March 19

In a press launch at Marco Polo Hotel Davao last Friday, BlackBerry Philippines Country Director Cameron Vernest officially announced the date of the coming of BlackBerry's newest smartphone to the Philippines.

On the 19th of March, two days ahead of its US debut, Filipinos will finally experience BlackBerry's newest smartphone. Filipinos will be one of the firsts to get hold of BlackBerry's newest handset, the BlackBerry Z10.

When you think about BlackBerry phones, a tool for business is most likely what you'll first perceive. That's totally true as most (if not all) of its products were designed to serve that purpose. Though still generally living under that principle, BlackBerry Z10 seemed to wade out of that frame a bit further as this new handset turned out to be more diverse. Also a good development, according to Mr. Vernest, country's three major telcos, Smart, Sun, and Globe will all carry the BlackBerry Z10. Smart has announced it will offer the handset at Unli Data Plan 2000 while Globe will offer the smartphone for free at Globe Unli Surf Plan 1799 with a 30-month lock-in provision. No official announcement from Sun Cellular so far.

The BlackBerry Z10 won't be available in the Philippines until March 19, 2013, but you can pre-order the device HERE. The BlackBerry Z10 has a suggested retail price of Php 29,990.

Philippine Madrigal Singers invades SM City Davao

I was more than blessed to have witnessed Philippine Madrigals Singers' live performance at SM City Davao last week. I admit, I'm not really a fan of chorales but I surely know how to determine a good one. :P

It was my first time to witness Mads, the chorale's moniker, live and I was totally enchanted. With those soulful and angelic voices backed by exhilarating musical arrangement, who won't be amazed? Tell me! No one. ;)

The show was part of the chorale's 50th anniversary celebration. Mads, lead by choir master Mark Anthony Carpio, also held a workshop with local chorale groups earlier that day which also performed alongside with them.

Goosebumps were all over me as soon as they all started producing gripping sounds. Truly magical! Every number performed was bleakly poignant for me as it makes me more envious knowing that I can't do what they all can. Having a good voice is one of my greatest frustrations in life. Haha That explains why I'm not keen on engaging myself in musical stuffs.

Well, actually, not really. I do love listening to records, and I can play Hawak Kamay, Passenger Seat, and several more in a guitar. I do have my own sets of favorite musics too! Ha! :)

ADDU's Carillion Glee Club

Ateneo De Davao University's The Carillion Glee Club rendered their own version of Inday sa Balitaw while UP Mindanao's Koro Kantahanay performed Te Quiero. Love is the Answer was also performed by St. Joseph's Chorale.

The mood went more lively when St. Mary's College Chorale rendered the hit song Pusong Bato which I personally liked. I didn't realize nagging songs like PB can actually sound classy when sung differently.

The Madz performed three more songs that evening: A Very Special Love, an upbeat piece (I don't know its title), and Isang Lahi, Isang Dugo, Isang Musika.

The show ended with a humongous applause from the ecstatic spectators, including me, of course. Some even repeatedly yelled 'more more more,' asking the Madz to perform more songs.

We all left the atrium with smiles on our faces and in our hearts (char!). Hahaha ♥

The show, spearheaded by SM Mall, was also part of the 76th Araw Ng Dabaw celebration.

Aeon Towers starts Construction

I was able to drop by at Aeon Tower's showroom in Bajada last Thursday to pick-up something and was delighted with what I've discovered.

After months of anticipation and excitement, Aeon Towers, which has been touted as Davao City's most iconic building once completed, is now finally in construction mode!

They have already started the demolition of the current showroom. It will then be transferred to FTC Tower, the developer's headquarters.

Ate Receptionist (obviously, I don't know her name) was kind enough to let me scour the back side of the building to personally see what's happening there.

These were taken using my phone's camera. Sorry for the quality. :P

Aeon Towers will be constructed just adjacent to Abreeza Ayala Mall.

Ate Receptionist also told me that the construction will fully begin either within this month or in April. They're just waiting for the T-crane to arrive from Manila. The Australian developers will also arrive in Davao City on the 17th (yes, she specifically determined that) to officially facilitate the development.

As of press time, the vicinity wherein the structure will be constructed is now fenced.

In a recent meet-up with Bloggers, Blugre Coffee's top executives have shown much enthusiasm while talking about the company's impending globalization. The Davao-born coffee shop, known for its delectable pastries and high-standard coffee mixes, will soon bring its stores overseas; constant talks with franchisees have been ongoing to finalize plans for the company's international expansion.

Blugre Coffee will open its stores in Singapore and USA hopefully within this year. They are eyeing to branch out in Hollywood, Las Vegas, and Manhattan in New York.

BLUGRE FOUNDATION. The brand is also furthering its charity efforts by creating its own charity arm, the Blugre Foundation. With its conception, it is sought to boost the company's engagement in the community as well as in aiding the environment.

All the company's staffs are set to immerse somewhere in Davao City to plant mahogany trees as part of their carbon neutral program.

Blugre Coffee to open more stores in the Philippines

Blugre is not only expanding overseas. In fact, it is planning to open 20 more stores in the country this year.

Its first store in NCR is expected to open in September. The store will either be in The Fort in Taguig City or in Ortigas. Blugre Coffee will also open in Cebu real soon.

The candidates were given one common question (above) which they all choose to answer in English. For sure those who were following our live blog that night answered that question just as the candidates were giving theirs; WanderfulDavao delivered it real-time online. ;)

They also gave their answers wearing the mindanaon outfits which for me has a good connotation.

Everyone was surprised when Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Ma. Venus Raj was called on stage as a co-host. I guess 98% of the people who were at DCRC had no clue that she's coming.

This gonna be a VERY short post. I just want to share this VERY sad development in the city.

Just a little history...

Davao City used to be very tolerable when it comes to public demonstrations. Anyone can freely hold assemblies regardless of its nature (whether pro or anti government) anywhere in the city.

I can even still remember when colleges and universities in Davao City held a rally last year (I was one of the attendees because our university required us) to condemn the summary killings in Davao. The demonstration, which covertly intended for Vice Mayor Rody Duterte (allegedly the brainchild of the vigilante group), ended peacefully. The city even deployed personnel from the DCPO and TMC to manage the traffic for the demonstrators.

That's the situation here in Davao City until this happened...

The supposedly peaceful demonstration resulted to mayhem which injured several members of the police, the protesters, and even the media.

Because of the skirmish, the Davao City government decided to impose a policy that prohibits anyone to conduct public assembly without a written permit.

And this is what Dabawenyos got. Isn't it sad that the LGU had to impose such ordinance? To think that it was not the Dabawenyos (ref. to Davao City residents) who caused the mayhem makes me more agonized.

Dabawenyos Urged to Join Sun BroadBAND Quest

In a kick-off concert held last week at the University of Southeastern Philippines Obrero campus, Sun Cellular invited all college bands in Davao to join the company's latest contest, the Sun BroadBAND Quest! The gathering was part of the telco's nationwide campus tour to promote the competition. SUN BROADBAND QUEST is open to all unsigned and amateur bands composed of college students in the Philippines between the ages of 16 to 26 at the time of joining and with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 members. It doesn't necessarily need to be an all-student band as band members could be an alumni, faculty members, etc.. Also, at least 2 members of the band must be currently enrolled in the college or university they represent.

Participating bands could only use musical instruments in playing their songs and each band member must also be part of only one registered competing band.

So what does unsigned bands really mean? According to sun: Unsigned bands shall refer to bands that do not have any record label agreement or contracts with major or independent record labels. Dabawenyos, now here's your shot at FAME! Just follow these simple steps to get into the competition.

SUN BROADBAND QUEST MECHANICS:
1. Purchase a Sun Broadband Entertainment Stick (one per band).
2. Register online by using the unique access code from the Entertainment stick HERE.
3. Upload one video recording of their band’s all-original song and one video recording of a cover version of any song by any band of their choice as long as the genre is not heavy metal.
4. Deadline of submission of entries is on June 15 and the announcement of the Top 10 Finalists will be one June 22.
5. Grand Finals will be on July 12,2013.

SUN BROADBAND QUEST PRIZES:
1. Professional coaching at the Broadband Quest Workshop
2. Band Album (produced and released by MCA Universal Records)

It's been over 7 years since I started hanging out online more than the usual. That started when I get into blogging and eventually started making some dime out of it. The making money online part was the real deal setter. Imagine, you're just a junior high school student and you're already earning your own money. And what makes it cooler? I didn't earn it the conventional way. Amazing, right? I didn't receive my first payout until in 2008 though. Who's asking, right? Hahaha

3. CINEMATHEQUE DAVAO
What? Cinematheque Davao is a 150-seater cinema facility established through the collaboration of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and the city government of Davao. It opened on June 29 last year.

Classic and contemporary Filipino films and cinematic masterpieces that are not commercially shown on regular movie theaters are being shown here. In some instances, foreign films are also screened here.

2. MUSEO DABAWENYO
What? Museo Dabawenyo is a City Government of Davao facility and is being run in collaboration with the private sector. it is a "peoples' museum" and its programs are geared towards better historical and cultural awareness, understanding and integration.

The photo above is the cover photo of the city's official Facebook page. With that being said, one can tell that the profile is well-maintained. Umi-effort kahit sa cover photo Hehe Updates from the Davao City Government, including all offices and departments under it, are regularly posted on its social media profiles. Media outlets often quote the profiles because announcements and advisories from the LGU are usually released through its social media handles.

It made our top list simply because it's a working profile.
