PETALING JAYA: Almost a decade after it was ordered, the world's largest and fuel efficient A380 aircraft finally landed on Malaysian soil at 3.35pm Wednesday, signalling a major advance for Malaysia Airlines (MAS) as it joins the elite A380 club.



The 73m-long A380 can carry up to 494 passengers and offers one of the best seating arrangements of the industry for its first class cabin.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Mohd Nazmi Faiz has successfully secured a three-year contract with Portuguese top flight football club Beira-Mar yesterday. 



The 17-year-old Nazmi, who underwent a three-day trial in Portugal, has passed his test with flying colours and landed himself a three-year deal until 2015-16 season.

NAZMI Faiz Mansor could become Malaysia's Cristiano Ronaldo if he makes the most of his trial in Portugal.



   Nazmi, who left for Portugal on Sunday, will undergo a one-week trial at Division One club Beira Mar.



   The player is set to earn a contract after  celebrating  his 18th birthday in August if he impresses the Portuguese club.

said the approval followed, after a review by two Unesco officers in July.
