More than 200 kidnapped girls and women have been reportedly sold into marriage with their Boko Haram abductors for $12.

Scores of young girls and women kidnapped from a school in Nigeria are being forced to marry their Boko Haram abductors, a local human rights group has reported.

Halite Aliyu, of the Borno-Yobe People’s Forum, told the Associated Press on Wednesday that more than 200 girls who were kidnapped two weeks ago had been sold to the fighters for $12.

Aliyu said the information given about the mass weddings was coming from villagers in the Sambisa Forest, on Nigeria’s border with Cameroon where Boko Haram was known to have a number of hideouts.

"The latest reports are that they have been taken across the borders, some to Cameroon and Chad,'' Aliyu said.

The best way to make efficient engines even more economical: switching them off.

Standard at Audi: the start-stop system that helps the driver to save fuel and thus reduce CO2 emissions. When the car has come to a complete standstill, the gear lever has been moved to neutral and the driver has released the clutch pedal, the system automatically shuts down the engine. In the stop phase the driver information system displays a “Start-Stop” symbol. The engine starts again as soon as the clutch pedal is pressed.

The start-stop system is quiet, convenient to operate, and fast – the engine has already resumed idle speed by the time the driver engages the gear. Over the combined cycle the potential saving is thus around 0.2 l/100 km – equivalent to 5 grams of CO2 per km. The system can be deactivated at any time at the push of a button.

The start-stop system has been available since June 2009 for the following models with manual gearbox: A3 1.4 TFSI®, A3 1.6 TDI® 77 kW, as well as A4 2.0 and A5 2.0 (in each case TDI®, TDI® quattro®, TFSI® and TFSI® quattro® versions).

lable to make them. Any analysis of executive contributions comes up with an embarrassing richness of important tasks; and any analysis of executives time discloses an embarrassing scarcity of time available for the work that really contributes. Therefore, there is always a time deficit.

The more the an executive focuses on upward contribution, the more will he require fairly big continuous chunks of time. The more he switches from being busy to achieving results, the more will he shift to sustained efforts- efforts which require a fairly big quantum of time to bear fruit. Yet to get even that half day or those two weeks of really productive time requires self-discipline and an iron determination to say 'NO'.

Similarly, the more an executive works at making strengths productive, the more will he become conscious of the need to
to concentrate the human strengths available to him on major opportunities. This is the only way to get results.

Concentration is necessary precisely because the executive faces many tasks glamouring to be done.
