When you’re adding a color to your web/wap page with HTML, sometimes you can just type in the name of the color. But more often than not, you’ll need to use what’s called the hex code, which is something that the browser will be able to understand.

Choose a color from the list below and look to its left to get the hex code. If we wanted our web/wap page background to be white, for example, we’d type <body style="background:#FFFFFF">, and if we want our font/text color to be black we'd type <span style="color:#000000">, if we want our table background color to be green we'd type <table style="background:#008000">, if we want our link color to be red we'd type <a style="color:#FF0000"> Try it out!

How to Add Chatroom Textcolor in Wapka

Now that you have created your chatrooms/chatroom it is time to add a little tweak to add colors to users written text/messages. It will help to make your chatroom colorful and look beautiful.

How To Add The Tweak

1)Login to your wapka account
2)Click :: EDIT SITE (#) ::
3)Click - GLOBAL SETTINGS
4)Click - Chat
5)Scroll down to Allow change color of the text (set): tick that box
6)Click the set link besides the box
7)You will see two(2) boxes write your favourate color name in the first box and write the color code in the second box eg. the color code for Aqua is (#00ffff). You can add as many colors as you want just write the color name in the first box and write the color code in the second box.

8)Click add color to save your settings

Please if you are using codes from my previous tutorial How to Create and Design Chatroom in Wapka if you are using codes from the boxes you don't have to do anything again if not then follow the previous tutorial and add ::REPLY:: to create a text area inside the chatroom and users will see a select box with your defined colors with the new message form to change the color of chat message.

How To Add The Chatroom(s)

Login to your wapka account
Click :: EDIT SITE (#) :: , click - Add autocontent , click Autocontent for chat
Create a new page (example Live Chat)
Create 10 new pages.Name your pages as follows

Now at your new created pages (example Romance And Love Chat room) click :: EDIT SITE (#) :: and click - Chat write your desired chat room name in the provided box. Note the box already contains chat inside it replace it with your chat room name and note down the chat room id (example 110866605) remember to do that at all the pages

What Is CSS? CSS (cascading stylesheets) is a simple mechanism for controlling the style of a web document without compromising its structure.

By separating visual design elements (fonts, colors, margins, and so on) from the structural logic of a web/wap page, CSS gives designers the control they crave without sacrificing the integrity of the data, thus maintaining its usability in multiple environments. < /p>

In addition, defining typographic design and page layout from within a single, distinct block of code — without having to resort to image maps, <font> tags, tables, and spacer GIFs — allows for faster downloads, streamlined site maintenance, and instantaneous global control of design attributes across multiple pages.< /p>

Client-side support for the various CSS properties is uneven, even among browsers that support stylesheets. < /p>

How Wapka CSS Works

CSS overrides the browser’s default settings for interpreting how tags should be displayed, letting you use any HTML element indicated by an opening and closing tag (including the <p> tag) to apply style attributes defined either locally or in a stylesheet.

Stylesheets contain rules, composed of selectors and declarations that define how styles will be applied. The selector (a redefined HTML element, class name, or ID name) is the link between the HTML document and the style. There are two different kinds of selectors:types (HTML element tags) and attributes (such as class and ID names).

A CSS declaration has two parts,

a property ("color") and a value ("blue").

The basic syntax of a rule

An example (containing two declarations, as above)

CSS is not picky about whitespace, linebreaks, or extra semi-colons, so you can format complex CSS files to make them more manageable;

Linking Style Sheets In Wapka

Local (inline) stylesheet declarations, specific to a single instance on a page, can be used instead of <font> tags to specify font size, color, and typeface and to define margins, leading, etc.

To get started with a wapka wapsite you will need to either have an existing wapka account, or create a new one at www.wapka.com. The process is quite simple:

Passport (Your Email)
Password (chose a good one)
Confirm password (Enter your password again
Site name ( Allowed characters a..z,0..9,- )(eg.mywapkawapsite)
Chose a domain name besides the site name box (eg. .wapka.mobi .wapka.me .wap-ka.com)
Acept the terms of service
Acept the privacy policy
Acept the code of conduct
Click signup
You can set up a custom domainat a later time if you wish.
Once your site is set up you can start building and designing

How to Create and Design Registration Page in Wapka

Do you want to add a registration page to your Wapka Wapsite or you already have one and want to design it to look more beautiful than before?. Then you are the right place.

First of all, you must understand wapka's registration page system. It's different from what you know about other web/wapsites, the registration page is already there and you need a special tag to link it to your wapsite.

<a href=":url-reg-0:">Register</a>

use this special tag to link to your registration page and your users will be able to register from there. Please note that users will be redirected to your main/index page after they register, but don't worry you can modify the tag by changing ":url-reg-0:" to your desired page number. Eg.if you want to redirect users to page 10 of your wapka wapsite just do this "url-reg-10" that's all.

change<":url-reg-0:">Register<a/>
to <":url-reg-10:">Register<a/>

Now let's design the registration page

Login to your wapka account click Admin Mode >> EDIT SITE >>WAP2 >> Styles for login/registration >>Registration page.
Have you seen the "Own style of registration page:" textarea box? that's your registration page and it contains all the nesecery tag/codes to create and design your registration page.

Now in the textarea you can use the following tags or codes to design your registration page.

::notifications::
This tag is mandatory, this displays the result to the user if the submitted inputs are correct or not.. This will also show the message if the user name is already taken and more. If you like to design it too you can do it by adding new class in your style sheet file with name reg_notification in styles you can add many other CSS tags as you like. Remember that these notification are enclosed in <p></p> tag.

::login::
This tag is also mandatory, with this tag user will see input box where he/she can chose his/her username, if the username is already taken he/she will see error message because of above tag.. (::notifications:: )

::password1::
This tag adds the password field to the registration page. User can enter his/here password in this field. In this tag 1 means that user has to enter his/her password here and in the second box too which is under this one, in other case the user will see an error message..

::password2::
This tag is used to confirm the password that user has entered in the above ::password1:: is correct This tag is also mandatory like the others.

::email::
This field is added in the registration page to get the user email address so that you can send welcome email or verify user and so on, this tag is also mandatory.. This tag is already having the HTML breakline <br/> tag at the end.

::lpsq::
This tag adds option to set the security question. In case the user lost his/her password, he/she can retrieve it by answering his/her set answer.. You can add own questions as well but thats not the scope of this tutorial.. This tag also have the <br/> tag at the end so next item will be on new line always.

::msgfa::
This tag adds the field for the user to send YOU some info or tell you something or whatever. This field is only visible to YOU because this field is only for admin messages.

::captcha:: This tag adds the captcha check in your registration page.. Which the user can only register if the user has wrote the correct words from captcha. Unfortunately you can not change the styles of captcha but you can disable it if you like.

::profile::
This tag adds all the fields from ES > USER > USER PROFILE > STYLES FOR REGISTRATION PAGE.. You can store more info about the user with the help of this profile variable system.. I will not cover it in this tutorial but i will add a complete tutorial on it later.

::submit::
This tag adds the submit button which is the action if user want to register after writing his/her info in the provided fields.

You can use many other HTML tags in this and also you can use javascript, You can style your page with CSS.. It all depends on you.

If you’re just getting started with your wapsite, the first step is to choose a wapsite hosting platform. Wapka is the most popular platform, so be sure to learn how to create your wapka wapsite here.

Get a Domain Name

If you’re serious about your wapsite, the best thing you can do right now is register a unique domain name. If you’re unsure about what a domain name is, it is your own unique wap/website URL, such as www.mywapkawapsite.com. You can read all about domain names and hosting here.

If you are planning on using a domain name, this is a must. You can register it at any provider if have the money. If you’re going to be using a different freebie platform, (I prefer .Tk) which provides free dot tk domains. Learn how to create a free dot tk domain in wapka here. You might be thinking, “Why do I need a domain name?”. I always recommend a wapkan get their own WWW address regardless of their wapsite for various reasons:

You own it which means you can move it anywhere with you. If you decide to move off of Wapka or decide that maybe one day you’d like to change your brand/wapsite to something a little different, you can do that easily.
It looks much more professional than something like http://mywapkawapsite.wapka.mobi — and shows that you take your wapsite seriously.
It’s easier for others to remember.
You can set up your own email addresses using the domain name to stay consistent (i.e. me@mywapkawapsite.com).
