Guild Transfers - How To

Greetings!

Free Character Transfers are underway and we realize it's been a while since the last round. We wanted to clear up any confusion and make it a bit easier for all of you guild leaders getting ready to move your guild to your new home.

All of the information below is found on the "Review Character Transfer" page in the Account Center, this is displayed prior to confirming the transfer of your character.

Guild Leaders - PLEASE READ!

You must follow the below instructions before transferring your character that is the Guild Leader. Otherwise your guild will be leaderless and no one can issue the command until the Auto Promote system kicks in 30+ days later.

Using /TransferGuild

All current guild members including you will be removed from the guild and the guild will be deleted. All claimed keeps, calendar events, and guild vault contents will be deleted. Your guild Rank and guild Renown will be saved to this character, and the next guild you create on your new server with this character will be created with the saved guild rank and renown. All previous guild settings will be reset, and you will be able to choose a new guild name, guild tactics, and guild heraldry.

Please be sure to move any items or coin that you do not wish to be deleted out of the guild vault and into your or another character's bags before confirming the guild transfer in game.

Server Maintenance 07/14/09 - All Servers

Greetings!

On Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 8:00 AM EDT all North American servers will be brought offline for maintenance and to enable to recently announced Free Character Transfers for all eligible servers; Oceanic servers will follow at 9:00AM EDT. In addition to the transfers several issues that cause players to crash will be corrected. We anticipate all servers to be back online by noon, 12:00PM EDT.

Server Maintenance - Phoenix Throne

We will be bringing the Phoenix Throne server offline this afternoon at 2:00 PM EDT for maintenance. During this downtime we will be implementing server stability improvements. At this time we anticipate for Phoenix Throne to be back online no later than 5:30 PM EDT.

Free Character Transfers - Starting 7/14/2009

Greetings!

Another round of our Free Character Transfers starts tomorrow! Players of the following servers will be able to login to the Mythic Account Center and begin transfer of their characters starting tomorrow, July 14th 2009. Please be sure to read all instructions carefully! There are cases where you may lose items if you do not properly prepare your character for transfer. This also applies to the Guild Transfer functionality.

UPDATE 12:30 PM EDT - Corrected an error in the FAQ regarding Characters of opposing realm on destination servers.

Free Character Transfer FAQ

Q: Why did my Character Transfer not go through when the website said my Character Transfer Request was complete?

A: Please check the Transfer Status and click on “More Info” for an explanation. This may be due to the following reasons:

    * The character was logged on at the same time the service attempted a transfer.
    * You already have a character of an opposing realm on the destination server. If this is the case you will have to delete your character of the opposing realm on the destination server in order to complete the character transfer. (PLEASE READ BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING THIS.
    * Your character may have a duplicate name as another character on the destination server.

Q: I did not get prompted to fill in a new name for my character, but the website says it failed due to the name already in use.

A: Players must log in their character on the Destination server in order for the name to be updated, so it may be another player has moved a character with the same name over, but has not yet logged into that character on the new server.

Q: Some of my characters aren’t showing up as an option to Transfer but I know they are on the server.

A: This may be because the character has not been logged on for a very long time. Please physically log the character into the game, and then try your transfer again.

Q: How will I know when my character transfer is complete?

A: You can either view your Transfer Status on the Account Management website https://accounts.eamythic.com/ or you may wait for an email confirmation. An email will be sent to the address provided in your account center to provide the status of your transfer automatically.

UPDATE 5:00 PM EDT - If you have Realm conflicts on the destination servers please read the following:

Players who have Realm conflicts on the destination servers of Gorfang, Volkmar and Badlands now have the following option:

For characters of Rank 11 and higher, you may file an in-game appeal on your characters on the destination server. Please use the Character Issues category when filing this appeal. For characters Rank 10 and below, please use the Preexisting Character transfer option already available to you in the Mythic Account Center.

Players wishing to transfer characters off of the source servers should file the appeal using the following format (IMPORTANT: IF YOU DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING FORMAT EXACTLY YOUR REQUEST WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS):

1.       Verify that the email address in the Mythic Account Center is your current valid email address.

2.       Please file an in-game (Character Issues) appeal using exactly the following format:

Character Transfer Conflict. I have <ORDER/DESTRUCTION> characters on <SOURCE SERVER NAME>, and <ORDER/DESTRUCTION characters on <DESTINATION SERVER NAME>. Please move my <DESTINATION SERVER NAME> characters to <GORFANG/VOLKMAR/BADLANDS>. Thank you!

So for example, a sample request would look like the following:

Character Transfer Conflict. I have Order characters on Magnus, and Destruction characters on Badlands. Please move my Badlands characters to Volkmar. Thank you!

Please allow for at least one calendar week for your request to be completed as this is a very intensive process. You will be notified via your valid email address once your request has been completed.

Land of the Dead

General Changes & Bug Fixes

Players who defeat King Amenemhetum will properly receive credit towards the Fifth Fragment of the Superior Ward.
Players who deafeat Saa Khasef, Bennu Apeht, Hapu Shebikef, and Tsekani Heyafa will properly receive credit towards the Fifth Fragment of the Greater Ward.
Fixed an issue that was causing players to be teleported from areas near the Order warcamp to the Library of Zandri.

Realm vs. Realm

Capital Cities

Fixed an issue that could in some cases cause Torvug to become unattackable, giving an erroneous “target out of range” message to players.

Open RvR

Battlefield Objective domination timers will now reset only when the attackers have killed the defending guards and captured the flag.

Scenarios

Players will now receive Renown for capturing a zone while they are in the Scenario associated with that zone.

Immediate Server Downtime - Source Servers

We will be bringing down all North American and Oceanic source servers this morning for extended server maintenance beginning at 10:00 AM EDT. We anticipate all servers to be back at approximately 4:00 PM EDT.

At this time we anticipate North American servers to be back online no later than 11:45 AM EDT. Oceanic servers will be back online no later than 1:45 PM EDT.
