WARM IN THE WAKE @ THE EARL DEC 15 w/ AMY RAY of the INDIGO GIRLS

From Homemade Sister to Magnapop: Swell Benefit for Ruthie Morris

TUESDAY DECEMBER 15 THE EARL ATLANTA

Amy Ray
Warm in the Wake
Tim Lee 3

Doors open at 8:30pm

Advance ticket sales end at 6pm on day of show (BUY TICKETS HERE)

Promoter Chris Chandler of Party Panda Productions and Jeff Clark of Stomp and Stammer have joined forces to help out the lovely Ruthie Morris, of famed local band Magnapop.

"Ruthie lost a lot of her stuff in flooding after the awful rains last month," says Chandler. "Her basement flooded and that's where she had her studio and that was ruined along with a lot of other stuff."

Featuring Amy Ray of Indigo Girls (who released Magnapop's last record on her own Daemon Records), Tim Lee 3 (the Tim Lee of the band used to play in Homemade Sister with Ruthie Morris) and Warm in the Wake, the benefit show will take place at The EARL on December 15.

PRAISE FOR AMERICAN PREHISTORIC

2007-12-29T20:26:00.000-05:00

”Incorporating the rich melodic hooks of the Beatles and XTC, the lyrical twists of Neil Young and Dylan, and sonic effects reminiscent of early Roxy Music, American Prehistoric expands and already big tent.” NO DEPRESSION

"It's as if Brian Eno suddenly started knob-twiddling for an unkonown Southern band's porch jam....That promise of excitement is what makes the spaced-out stretches of this LP worth contemplating for hours on end." - MAGNET

Fantastic praise for American Prehistoric as of late. Here's a sample and you can find more on the Press Page.
