Promoter Chris Chandler of Party Panda Productions and Jeff Clark of Stomp and Stammer have joined forces to help out the lovely Ruthie Morris, of famed local band Magnapop.

"Ruthie lost a lot of her stuff in flooding after the awful rains last month," says Chandler. "Her basement flooded and that's where she had her studio and that was ruined along with a lot of other stuff."

Featuring Amy Ray of Indigo Girls (who released Magnapop's last record on her own Daemon Records), Tim Lee 3 (the Tim Lee of the band used to play in Homemade Sister with Ruthie Morris) and Warm in the Wake, the benefit show will take place at The EARL on December 15.

- The band filmed a performance on the show Storyline for TBS. Look for the show to air in early May on Saturday mornings.

The Gold Dust Trail EP was released nationally via Livewire Recordings (Ryko Distribution) on JANUARY 30th, 2007.
