Pastor Marshall Eizenga Sabbatical Report
2013-April 7 – Sabbatical Report

Here are the thoughts of one of our congregation to the message Pastor Marshall shared on Sunday April 7th.

Let There Be Light – A Clearer View

A Fresh Expression of God’s Love – Pastor Marshall April 7, 2013

When the sun breaks through the clouds its light gives us warm and illumination. When the clouds break open and God’s light illuminates our life it brings a clearer view of the world.

Strategy is the art of planning and directing overall plans, operations and movement. God will give us strategies to reach the heart of our city. We need to throw our nets on to the “right” side of the boat.

In order to be equipped when God calls us we need to lengthen our stride, stride out and reach a little further. Increasing your stride length will increase your speed, adding inches and minutes to your marathon. Most important in order to make sure you are going the right way, WAIT (worship, alignment, intercession and thanksgiving) upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:31). God will affirm we are going down the right road.”

What does this mean for you and I? In order to cover more distance and quicken our pace we need to focus more on bible study, prayer, ministry and exercise our spiritual gifts. God wants to empower you and do an incredible work in your life. Prayer is especially important as there is a spiritual hunger in our community. God want to stir people’s hearts to walk in relationship with Him. A “holy, first love experience”. God wants us to have a greater passion for who He is. He wants us to have an increased desire and hunger to know what God wants us to do. God will strengthen us to do ministry.

The total radiance of God’s love and warmth shines down on us. God still speaks to us with prophetic words. The penetrating warmth of God’s Spirit makes everything come alive. The Holy Spirit will activate the gifts from God in your life. By faith believing, pray for the activation of the work of the Holy Spirit in our Church. So excited, can’t wait to see what God has in store for our church. Psalm 30: 16&17. This is what God has called me to do. God still works in our lives every day. The current generation has heard many facts about the power of God but have not yet SEEN God at work with signs and wonders. God I pray you let all generations see you work again. Bring it on! Let our children see Your glory. God IS real and ALL powerful, pray for it, believe it. Get ready to take those quicker steps. God is setting us up for incredible victories!!

When you ask God: Is this what I am to do? Listen for the divine “YES” approval from God. Pray that God makes our efforts successful. YES, God make our efforts successful!

Chorus:
Higher than the mountain that I face, Stronger than the power of the grave
Constant in the trial and the change, One thing remains
Your love never fails, never give up never runs out on me
Your love never fails, never give up never runs out on me

On and on and on and on it goes, It overwhelms and satisfies my soul
And I never ever have to be afraid, One thing remains
Your love never fails, never give up never runs out on me
Your love never fails, never give up never runs out on me

Chorus
To God Be the Glory, To God be the Glory, For the things He has done
With His blood He has saved me, With His power He has raised me
To God be the glory for the things He has done

2013-April 7 - Sabbatical Report (http://waterlooassembly.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013-April-7-Sabbatical-Report.mp3)

Here are the thoughts of one of our congregation to the message Pastor Marshall shared on Sunday April 7th.
Let There Be Light - A Clearer View

God will affirm we are going down the right road."
