Shipping of Pond Plants and Water Lilies in Canada Starts This Week!

For all our Canadian customers whose pre-booked their pond plants and water lilies order with us, shipping will begin this week! All orders that contain pond plants and hardy water lilieswill start to go out this week, while other customer orders who may have purchased floating water plants such as water hyacinths, water lettuce and parrot feather with their order will only start to go out the week of April 16th – 20th. We are waiting for our order of floating pond plants to arrive which is the reason for the delay.

Once we receive our order, we’ll be in full operation. For those of you who have purchased floating plants with your order, please remember that these are tropical plants and these should not be in your pond until the last frost has passed and the water has warmed up. It’s best to keep them indoors in an aquarium for example for those of you who are looking at getting these now until the weather has warmed up. If some of you would like to delay the shipment of your pond plants, just send me an email and I can ship them to you at the time you provide.

Canada Post Strike Update – Shipping Of Pond Plants and Water Lilies By UPS

It looks like the Canada Post strike will be over and Canada Post workers are expected to return to work Monday evening with deliveries starting on Tuesday. For the time being UPS will still be used until Canada Post gets back to normal operations with the backlog of mail they have.

Starting next week Canada Post will be used for all shipments of water lilies and pond plants unless advised differently from my Canada Post representative. We can all be thankful that Canada Post will finally be back to work and things will return back to normal.
