It looks like Twitter is yet victim of it’s success. One proof ? I just tried to tweet few minutes ago and I got splashed by a blue whale ! It sounds crazy, but it’s true. Look at the screenshot if you don’t believe me. I hope Twitter will shortly upgrade their servers, cause my heart will not resist such emotions :)

Very popular on the blogs, the Tweetmeme button (You can see it at the top of this article) that allows users to share any post they like on Twitter will shortly have a serious concurrent… Under the name of Twitter himself. According to Mashable, Twitter will launch an official Tweet button on Thursday. Good news for me because this new button is pretty nice, but bad news for Tweetmeme leadership … Unless they made a deal with Twitter ?

With more than 100 million users, Twitter looks like an unbelievable maelstom of information. So, we can easily imagine that it will be very tough for a newbie to find what he wants. Nevertheless I found a way to find relevant people to follow on Twitter : WeFollow. This directory lists Twitter users by categories and tags so that you can easily find people who have the same interests as you. An interesting feature is that listings are ordered by influencel or number of followers. By the way, I noticed that most influential twittas have more than 1 million followers… Totally insane. It will be hard (impossible ?) to catch them up !

WeFollow’s directory gives you several methods to search for new followers. Its homepage lists the users with the most number of followers for each category, which include celebrities, music, social media, entrepreneurs, news, bloggers, tech, TV, actors and comedy. Apple has just released his new range of iMac and the temptation is high to buy one. I focused on the 21.5 inch that best suits to my desk which is not large enough for the 27 inch. The key points that caught my attention are the faster new processors (intel core i series… With turbo boost technology that dynamically increases the speed of the computer when working on powerful applications like Photoshop) and the graphics upgrades. As a design fan, I also enjoy the purity of the shape of this new iMac. Shortly, in my point of view, except the price, everything is attractive in this new iMac.

Proud to use my iPhone 3Gs for almost 1 year, I was really excited to discover the new Iphone 4. OK, I admit that I’m definitly addicted to Apple products… But this is not a reason to buy eyes closed all the new stuff stamped with an apple.

What’s new in the iPhone compared to it’s brother ?

The most notable is it’s new retina screen that really gets an amazing definition. Apple announces that the Retina display is the highest resolution screen ever on a phone. Just perfect.

The front built-in camera that allows to make video calls. Now you can talk with your friends while seeing them… Provided that they also got an iphone 4. Damned, I have to friend with iPhone 4 users !

Multi-tasking. Now with the iPhone 4 you can use several apps at the same time.

HD video recording. Now with the new built-in camera at the back of the new iPhone 4 you can record high definition movies. Note that you can take a video self-portrait with the front camera that let you see yourself while you record. Very usefull feature, especially for bloggers.

What about the antenna reception issue ?
After watching the press conference by Steve Jobs about the Antennagate, I realized that this problem of reception affected a small percentage of users. By the way, all smartphones have reception problems when you hold them the wrong way… Then the good news about this story is that Apple will offer a free bumper to each iPhone 4 user. Thanks a lot Mr Jobs.

Conclusion : Will I buy this new iPhone 4 ?
Well, with all new features of the iPhone 4 I will surely buy it as soon as my current subscription will be completed. Now I just have to save 300 euros…
