The National Weather Service has revised the crest time for Janesville. This new forecast moves Waverly's crest time to early&nbsp;Wednesday morning. The river level is expected to reach approximately 13.3 feet at the Waverly gauge.&nbsp;<br /></span><span class="apple-style-span"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 11pt;"><br />Widespread flooding is still NOT expected in Waverly. However, southeast Waverly and low lying areas along the river may experience flooding. Water may go over the top of the HESCO flood barriers which would cause 7th Avenue and 4th Street SE to be closed. <p><span class="apple-style-span"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Cedar&nbsp;River Expected to Crest in Waverly&nbsp;Tuesday Evening<br /><br /></span></span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The Cedar River level will be rising quickly throughout the day. It is expected to crest around&nbsp;9 p.m. Tuesday evening.&nbsp;<span class="apple-style-span">Widespread flooding is NOT expected in Waverly. However, southeast Waverly and low lying areas along the river may experience flooding.<br /></span></span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"><br />The Code Red emergency notification system was used on Monday to notify households in southeast Waverly that may be impacted by flooding. If you receive a message through the system, pay attention and take actions you feel are needed. To sign-up for the system, go to&nbsp;<a href="http://www.waverlyia.com/police">www.waverlyia.com/police</a>. Residents may also call,&nbsp;(319) 352-5400&nbsp;and select option 5. These barriers are designed to hold back water like a sandbag levee. The value of installing these barriers is to maintain road access to southeast Waverly.</p>
<p>Due to substantial rainfall in the Upper Cedar River Watershed, the National Weather Service is predicting minor flooding in Bremer County. Widespread flooding is NOT expected in Waverly. However, southeast Waverly may experience minor flooding. Flooding will peak in Waverly between Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.</p>
<p>An informational briefing will be given at the Waverly City Council meting at 7 pm Monday night. The meeting is simulcast on channel 10/82 or on the City's website.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[<div class="feed-description"><p>The Waverly Outdoor Swimming Pool will open for the season on Tuesday, May 28. Hours will be 345pm to close during public school days with regular hours on weekends.&nbsp; Regular weekday hours will begin on Tuesday, June 4.</p>
<p>Noon Lap Swim (noon-12:50) will begin on Saturday, June 1 with Early Bird Lap Swim (6am-730am) starting on Monday, June 3. Lap swim admission is $2.00 or a lap punch can be purchased for $15.00 for 10 punches.&nbsp; Season passes are also honored.</p>
<p>Season passes are for sale and pool parties can be reserved at the Leisure Services office until the pool opens.&nbsp; Rates are the same as last year with individual passes at $60 and Family Passes $125 (up to 5 family members on the tax return).</p>
<p>Daily fees are $3.50, with $2.00 for toddlers age 0-5 and $2.00 after 630pm.&nbsp; The popular "Wacky Wednesdays" will continue with admission $2 all day on Wednesdays.</p>
