8 years ago when I was in India sitting and building a website that I thought was gonna generate some cash for me, enough to fund my own startup, I thought about it all, day dreamed.

It seems so easy and action steps were fine, well planned.

That website and many others like that failed.

In entrepreneurship things are extremely hard when you’re doing it all on your own with no experience but with hopes, dreams and aspirations.

Most prominent reasons for my past failures includes – not testing things out, not moving out of my parent’s house, procrastination and lack of pro-activeness or confidence.

After a few years, I started learning as I was moving forward.

I started making my own way.

I’m writing this to let you know that if your startup failed or on the verge of failing, I feel you and I know exactly how it feels.

It’s like jumping off the plane and building your own parachute - I heard that on YouTube. (Giving credit, where it’s due)

Some of the lessons I’ve learned in my small journey are:

You Can’t Keep Everyone Happy, So Stop Trying To Keep Everyone Happy

Attempting to keep everyone happy will cause emotional frustration. Sometimes it’s important NOT to give a shit. There will be times where you’ll have to make some really emotionally difficult decisions. You can’t hold yourself back with the stress that comes with the attempts to keep everyone happy.

I’m not preaching you to be selfish, but I want you to understand that eventually there will be some people, who will like you, love you and admire you, and then there will be those who will envy you, hate you or perhaps despise your efforts.

So stop trying to keep everyone happy. Genuine friends and partners are the ones who like you for who you really are, or at least care about you.

It’s hard enough to be a startup founder.

Violently Defend Your Time And STRESS

Your time and efforts are your most valuable resources. Do every single thing to cut off stress as must as possible. Identify the activities that rob your time and eliminate them.

Don’t give in easily. Defend your time, sleep and routine.

Be Skeptical About Who You Hang Out With

You are who you hang out with. If you hang out with negative people, you’re inviting negativity.

CONTROL the influence on your mind.

Turn off general news on TV. Don’t get me wrong, negative things in the world motivate people to do something about it. But if the influence on your brain comes from wrong people, you’ll face the consequences.

A person is a Muslim in Middle East because the Islamic teachings and influence he got from his surroundings and peers, a person is a Christian because the Christian influence and teachings he got from his surroundings and peers. Same goes for terrorists groups, political groups, other religions and so on.

I remember Paul Graham wrote an essay on cities.

He talks about cities and their vibes.

Why are some countries better at sports than others? What’s the secret?

It’s the influence on the players. Same goes for Silicon Valley, big universities have the vibes that influences people to act in a certain way.

This is the reason why masses behave like sheeps in most cases. Specially if large part of influence they get is via general news that makes world look like a tiny little place with only the stuff that’s on TV in it.

So control the influence you have on yourself.

Ask For Help

If you need help or if you’re stuck, try asking someone about it. Ask for opinions and so on. You’ll be surprised how many people would jump on to help you out. Just don’t abuse it.

When I was starting out, most people called me lucky because I just “fell in” the circles of the people who were considered influential. It wasn’t luck, I simply asked them to help me out. I made a lot of friends that way. Now I add my input and value when they need my support or help and I can ask them for help anytime because we because such good friends just by communicating instead of getting aback by the irrational fear of rejection.

There are more helpers in the world. No matter where you are, who you are, you’ll always find help if you seek it.

Add Value Before Asking For Something

If you’re asking someone for a favor, do them a favor first. Help them out. They WILL reciprocate. People in most cases are genuinely good.

Here Is How NOT To Raise Capital

Most common mistakes people make while raising capital are:

Going to ask for capital when you don’t have a MVP

No prototype

No initial user base

No technical proficiency or no technical co-founder

Raising money very early on

Falling in love with your idea

Outsourcing your engineering or code

Move Fast

This one is HUGE. You just cannot succeed if you move slowly. Move fast, try and test things out.

We’re only 7 years from 2020 and there are some amazing technologies we’ll find in the process of moving forward.

A lot of people made some ambitious predictions for 2020. Being on the safe side, I’ve compiled a list of technologies that we’ll see most probably in 2020 and many of them will be standard in the industry.

This list is based on investments in respected fields and the amount progress in the research.

Terabyte SSD that will be affordable

Early days of web 3.0

Personalized medical diagnostics like genome testing and DNA sequencing

3d transistors technology in processors

Extremely productive industrial 3D printers that will be used in assembly lines

Implementation of Self Driving Cars

Brain chips for paralyzed and controlling artificial body parts

OLED display technology will standard

AMAZING improvements in robotics that will be used in medical science, military and production automation.

Commercial space travel (update: Russia just announced $50 billion space program)

Introduction to quantum computing

Google glasses and competitors will be in the market

Complete immersion gaming experience with next gen gaming graphics and products like Oculus Rift

Next generation Li-ion batteries that will charge 5 times faster and will be at least 3 times cheaper – research ongoing and federal funding is allocated

Emergence of some killer medical startups

Big data will be implemented in medical and research areas

Wireless charging that will be much more practical

Introduction to effective self-coding AI system

Photorealism in AAA games. Luminous engine by Square Enix already amazing.

Fiber Optic internet in most big US cities along with introduction to 5G, thanks to Google Fiber’s efforts

Extreme progress in graphene’s industrial applications

Our understanding of human brain will be staggering due to the recent breakthrough at Stanford and federal funding along with blue brain project.

So this is my list of technologies that we’ll see in 2020 most definitely. What are your thoughts on it?

I also believe that entrepreneurs and companies have to get rid of traditional notions and aggressively focus on execution of new technologies. Even if we have next gen tech and its not executed well enough, it won’t benefit any one.

There are a lot of ways you can make money with apps and mobile games. In fact, you don’t even need to be a guy to come up with ideas or sniping other working idea concepts and build it or do it yourself.

In article series like this I’m going to show you various NON-TRADITIONAL ways to make money from apps and games. This is going to be a mini how to series. If you want updates then subscribe to my blog.

Ways to make money with apps – Way number 1 of 4

Here in this example, I’ll show you that you can basically build an app for someone else and make money in the process. You can also outsource the development and make some profits in the process.

Some important tips beforehand:

Make sure that the developer and graphics guy who you are outsourcing or hiring to is pre-tested before and you are comfortable and happy to work with him. You must test him on a smaller project before.

Describe the project clearly and make sure that communication is clear so that you can avoid hidden price bumps.

Everything that you expect and your client expects should be crystal clear before you move forward.

Enter Jenny:

Jenny has a restaurant and she wants more customers. So you approached her with a strategy that could help her get some customers.

You tell her to build a game, and give it away for free via QR codes and promote via Facebook and so on. The game is based on her restaurant. The top 3 high scorer will get a free dinner.

The levels in game are based on the special menu items and a story revolves/theme around the restaurant

And you also have a feature that her customers get a free beer or coffee if they invite one or two friends to download your app or leave a review anywhere you want.

The users who made the high scores have to share their scores and a message that they won a free dinner on Facebook or twitter to qualify. This will generate some visibility and social media engagement for her restaurant and she might get some mouth marketing.

Now she is getting free marketing for her business and more people hear about her restaurant and come to it.

This is just one example. You can come up with various ideas about how to help local restaurant owners and other local business owners. You make money by helping her and countless others get this game/app built and launch, and she gets a return on her investment by getting a good flow of clients and marketing.

There are a lot ways you can innovate on it.

Mobile roadie has a similar business model and it is pretty successful. My friend Trey Smith is working on a secret project that might serve this market. I want to keep this short so I’ll stop here and show you some more ways in next article. Be sure to subscribe here.

But before I stop here some additional things you might wanna keep in mind if you wanna use this strategy:

Work for some local and prominent restaurant owners or any local business owners for free to get some referrals, testimonials and something you can feature.

Dramatically demonstrate the whole process to potential clients

Actively engage in networking to find more clients, find big ones and charge more by delivering high quality, bundle add-ons together.

Be specific with everything when it comes to communication

Move fast

All righty! So that’s it for today.

Talk Soon

Wayne

Sitting too long can kill you fast. Decrease your age significantly, but if you follow even half of the tips mentioned below, you can do all the gaming you like without any health related risks at all.1

This also applies to the people who sit in front of a computer for extreme duration of time. If you are building a startup, consider creating an environment for everyone who works in it by taking the note of the points mentioned below. This can really enhance the creativity as well as productivity in your working environment as well.

I’ve learned all these things by experience and learning from here and there, you know. So I would like to pass some of these tips to you.

There are some body hacking activities you can do to eliminate the damage too much sitting in front of computer does to your body. Here are some tips that I’ve compiled that you can use and implement in your life:

Use eye lubricant or doctor prescribed eye drops, staring and concentrating in front of a screen and lower the number of times we wink our eyes, which is not good for the eyes because it reduces the moisture in it, which will cause strain.

Invest in an ergonomic chair designed to support your back, neck and arms

Use ergonomic mouse or keyboard

Take a break between missions and do some physical activity like walking

Drink plenty of water – Always have a bottle on your desk. Another thing is that drinking more water will make you take more bathroom breaks, which will force and motivate you to keep getting up from your desk.

Drink green tea without sugar. Tea is healthy and it is kinda like my elixir, I love it!

At least 30 minutes of vigorous workout is recommended once a day if not twice, if you can manage to do 15 minutes of vigorous work out 2 times a day, it is still better than not working out at all.

Take more fiber and avoid shitty food (fast food, high sugar too much or empty calories). Fiber will reduce bad cholesterol level and decrease colon cancer risk, which is above average for extreme sitters like us.

Do a quick body stretching every 3 hours

Use sea bands to cope from video game sickness. Wear one while you are playing, especially FPS. There are other bands too that can help you prevent motion sickness. Its generally called “acupuncture wrist bands to prevent motion sickness.”

Suck a little cube of ginger to cope from video game sickness, there are some ginger tablets and gum available too that you can try.

Always use anti-glare and anti-reflective screens

Use foam balls or rubber balls to exercise your wrists

Invest in a posture correcting device (saw that kick starter one?)

Use a controller instead of a keyboard or mouse

Cut on sugar, caffeine and eliminate all kinds of high fructose corn syrups. This is recommended even if they don’t cause motion sickness. They generally makes you hyper.

Don’t forget to take your share of 8 hours of sleep

Take one 20 minute nap at 3 pm assuming that you wake up at 6 am

Rotate your neck to give it a little exercise every 2 hours

Stare at any bright colored distant thing(s) or an object for 20 seconds, every 30 minutes when gaming (or something outside the window)

Use better quality headphones or sound system and keep the volume on a safe level (low volume level is always better)

Never skip any meals, buy a timer and set it up. Create a routine and never break it. Use apps to stick to it.

Visit your doctor every 12 months (I visit every 6 months) for a complete health and physiological checkups – even if you’re not a gamer or any ultra-extreme computer worker

Avoid 3D gaming (Nintendo 3DS) or any extreme eye straining activity

Relax, take a deep breath and meditate. Completely cut yourself from everything for at least 5 minutes each day

Bonus: Never stop playing games.

Bonus 2: Visit your eye doctor every 6 months for eye testing. Whenever you are buying glasses, make sure they are high quality anti-glare or anti-reflective. Ask him to prescribe you an eye lubricant drop too.

Other things that I didn’t mentioned above is, try playing in a pattern of shirt sessions. It will train your brain into thinking that what you are doing isn’t physically harming you. This will help you train your body to deal with video game motion sickness.

Sit far away from the screen in a properly lit room, which generally isn’t possible for hardcore PC gamers like me, oculis rift will cause a lot of motion sickness for people and tips above will help you enjoy the gaming experience oculis rift provides.

1 – I’m not a doctor. I don’t play doctor. This is NOT an alternative to professional medical advice or treatment in any way whatsoever.

Recently Apple announced their record quarter. Which means they made more money than any other quarter in past. They (almost) met analyst’s prediction with their earnings.

But still their stock fell drastically…

Why is that?

Here is why:

Analysts are saying that the post PC market that Apple introduced and dominated is now on the verge of saturation.

Which I think is true.

There are so many iOS devices sold in past 5 years that the market is nearly saturated. Plus there is also some really good direct competition with GS3/4/Note, Nexus, amazon, MS and (more to come [boot to gecko and Ubuntu phone?])

So what exactly does that mean for us?

Well, lemme simplify it for you:

The market growth i.e. new people coming to the iOS ecosystem will be significantly low compared to how it went on in the past 5 years.

Apple will make most of their money from the upgrades i.e. people upgrading their hardware from previous gen to next gen.

Apple will still make ton of money, but the market is almost saturated and also fragmented with competition, that we won’t see the growth that we saw in past 5 years with everybody and their brother entering the iOS ecosystem.

About Android:- Gizmodo’s Sam Biddle wrote an interesting article, that Android is cheap (cost wise) and appeals to the crowd with lower purchasing power compared to the iOS. Go and read that article about how the marketing strategy of both Apple and Samsung speaks about their most common buyers and their purchasing power.

So, Android as a primary platform is still not my number 1 priority for shipping my products because of low sales I’ve witnessed compared to iOS, also piracy is a kick in the nuts. Yeah if budget allows, there is nothing wrong to port your apps or games to it. But if I have to choose one platform to build a game for, I would go with iOS.

In short: It is easier to sell your product on iOS platform. Because of high purchasing power of the consumers as well as the trust factor that comes with Apple’s app store, they know that these apps or games are pre-screened by Apple.

But now probably we won’t see the exponential market growth of iOS that we saw in the past 5 years. The growth will be there, but it will be slow compared to the past 5 years in iOS’s timeline.

Why should you care?

Well, number of the AAA quality apps and games per person will increase significantly. Which means that you need to compete harder than before.

Competition is gonna get really stiff and many apps that doesn’t have any unique selling proposition (or duplicate apps) might lost in the noise. There will be the dominance of the top 100 developers who will probably take the biggest chuck and the app store will be dominated by AAA quality apps and games.

We’ve already seen this here on this article on Techcrunch.

You will have to compete harder for user’s attention compared to the past 3 or 4 years. The competition in App discovery sector will be really hard and might leave many mid or low end developers out of business if they do not optimize their marketing and promotional strategy accordingly.

If you are depending upon search traffic or organic app store traffic then you probably need to change your traffic and marketing strategy.

Always have some external sources of traffic that you can control

What’s my advice?

Build really good quality apps and games,

Have your USP in place, focus on building a minimum viable product and shipping it fast instead of perfecting it forever.

Do not depend upon just one source of traffic

You need to have at least one or two ultra-hot unique selling proposition in place and a plan to demonstrate it to your potential users dramatically

All righty, so that’s it folks!

Note: If you’re my App Ingenium member, check out the announcement under month 4 on more in depth explanation on how we’re gonna strategize it all in our business.

A Short Guide For Constructing A Launch Of Your App, Web-App Or A Game That Crushes The Charts

Launching an app is highly important and strategic decision that you have to make. It is also one of the best ways to get initial active user base and make some quick cash.

This short guide is only for AAA quality games, apps and web-apps – believe me – you product matters and building an inferior or ripped off product and thinking that you can pull it off in marketing is not the right approach. Your marketing will revolve around your product, how it works, its features and unique selling elements.

What is sad is that a lot of developers
out there have great apps, web-apps or games and most of them don’t even bother promoting them actively, let alone running a strategic launch.

What is an app (or web-app) launch?

A launch is a set of promotional campaigns that you run over a tight period of time under a pre-planned strategy.

Different markets and niches require a different launch strategy depending upon your target audience and potential loyal active user base.

Why run a launch?

A highly strategic and well executed marketing strategy will help you cut through the clutter and noise in the industry and reach as much of your target audience as possible in initial phase. With over a million apps and countless web-apps both existing and upcoming, it is extremely hard to grab attention of people. A launch that is well executed helps you cut through all this and give you more an edge over the others.

In this article I’ll show you some basic outline of engineering a set of promotional campaign under a launch strategy.

Watch this video clip taken from one of my webinar:

When I’m engineering a launch, I would like to have full control over the marketing messages and campaigns. When you’re planning a potential launch – always focus on it and eliminate everything else. For this short period – all the energy should be poured into the blast.

Here are few steps you need to take to construct it:

Research

Now this is ultra-important and you gotto know your costumer or potential user as much as you can. You also need to gather as much data as possible about your market’s popular promotional strategies used by your competitor. Do some competitive analysis and gain intelligence based on that. The more you know about your customer and competitor – the better strategy you can come up it.

Figure out the average advertising costs and targeting the people who are MOST likely to buy your product or test your app/game out, who are the most prominent bloggers and journalists who might be interested in writing about your product potentially (gotta be careful here!)

But the more in-depth knowledge you have about your customer – the easier it will be for you to position your offer towards him.

Brain storm based on this data you gathered during the research

This is no brainer, right?

You gotto brainstorm about your offer, product’s unique selling positioning and so on based on this. You gotto figure it all out based on the potential customer’s avatar and research analysis you’ve done.

Strategize and test

Based on the video above – strategize the promotional campaigns, strategies and so on.

List the set of important promotional campaigns that has to be tested.

The most popular ones that I’ve used are email (and social media) based launch. Some people build an event (competition) around their launch or launch it like an event and it gets great amount of response.

Some people like to launch it differently relying on bloggers and reviewers to write or video about their product – which is not the best strategy but doable if you can plan it much in advance and have connections. (People do it with YouTube reviewers)

Keep in mind: Just because strategy A worked for company B, doesn’t mean it’s gonna work for you.

So the point is – strategize in advanced and see what promotional strategies you can execute to launch your product.

Testing here again, is highly crucial – whether it’s your landing page, PPC ads, copy or anything – you gotto test as much as possible.

Tip: Try to figure out why test A performed better than test B. Don’t just take the results blindly.

It will help you learn more from the test, and create better marketing strategies in future.

Schedule your launch (prelaunch and so on…)

Plan the execution for your big week in advanced – make sure things are in place. Some people hire launch managers for tasks like this. Usually they have team including – launch manager, partnerships and JV, copywriter, traffic strategist, PR guy and social media guy. This team is under VP of marketing.

If you want to learn more about it: subscribe to my newsletter, click that QR code on the right side or scan it.

Make sure that you don’t panic because things sometimes do not go all pre-planned due to several reasons – main of which is noise and overwhelmed mind.

Figure out the dates that could be best for coverage – response and other things. Again – you need to test it all in advanced or work with a consultant in this industry.

Post launch automation

Not a lot of people think about it – but launch is a great branding strategy and from one point of view – it builds your business faster than anything else.

It’s great for building social proof and other elements which helps in long run and help your startup to grow.

Post launch automation is a word I use when the highest performing campaigns during the launch are automated after the launch until they gives a good ROI. We keep on running those campaigns as long as they keep performing.

In conclusion

If you’ve got a great app, web-app or a game – it would be no brainer for you to think about doing a launch or a re-launch of new versions because it is absolutely worth it.

This year we’re gonna witness some amazing changes in the way solutions are offered.

SaaS will be popular AND web-apps will dominate this area.

I think this is due to the fact that web-apps are accessible from multiple platforms and don’t have compatibility issues like native apps or application softwares for PC, and partly also due to the rise of post PC devices.

Post PC devices like iPad and iPhone are dominating and will take over the PC market share by over 90% in 2013.

There are few great frameworks that can allow developers to integrate and use the native mobile functionalities like address book or GPS from their web-apps.

In 2013 we will see fewer problems with compatibility from browsers when it comes to html5 and tools like Dart lang from Google makes it easier for developers to build web-apps.

Although I believe that what tools you use isn’t that much of an important factor, what matters is how you deliver the value to your end user and that your web-app does what it promises smoothly.

I think 2013 will be the year where we will see more businesses ditching flash and I couldn’t be happier for this.

This is really amazing.

Amazon’s web services are making it cheaper for startups to build great web-apps and offer easy scalability options.

Java 8 and other great things will make it an exciting year for Java.

And this area (web-apps) will not be as much abused as the app store has been by developers ripping off each other’s stuff to cash out quickly.

Struggle in getting the message to the potential buyer:

But one area in which I believe most new startups will struggle is with their marketing. And especially when they’re working on a non-organic idea. Great tools and apps are nothing if they aren’t getting eyeballs and interest of your potential customers. Most startups struggle with marketing.

Many people go with trendy ideas and screw up in long run and we will see this in this area too.

In conclusion

So if you’re thinking of building a great web-app in 2013 – go for it.

But remember – Sales and revenue are the lifeblood of a startup. Don’t get caught in the hypes and trends. (Noticed how many Instagrams and Instagram of ____ were formed after its acquisition?)

If you have a great idea that offers a unique approach towards solving a common problem, and you know how your web-app is gonna do it – then go and execute upon it and take action fast.

Learn as you move forward, make mistakes and improve upon it – constantly.

Okay guys so I was flying from Goa to Auckland. And I stopped at Singapore and Bali, I thought it would be nice to visit here and I had a meeting at Singapore too.

Long story short, while I was on my flight from Bali to Auckland, I was bored in the plane. So in Singapore airlines they have some really fantastic cabins that can be productive for work ON A PLANE. So I opened my Microsoft one note application and started jotting down some points. I put them in a presentation and made a video that is going to show you 10 basic strategies that EVERYONE, literally everyone who is starting in app space should and MUST know.

I used heavy noise cancellation in this video so I apologize for poor audio quality.

I also made another video similar to the one based on the talk given by Mark Suster at SeedCon. I’ll post that later but right now… Enjoy the video:

There are new innovations going on all around the globe especially in web. HTML5 will be heavily supported in the upcoming browsers and the post PC era including fragmentation of devices will make html 5 web-apps a perfect choice for developers.

According to Venture Beat, 94% of mobile app developers are betting on html 5.

With new tools and innovation by Google about how people can develop web apps using html 5 is playing a prominent role into making this real in 2013. Not to forget their contribution to web kit along with Apple!

I think that this is going to be a major evolution in the web development field.

So if you are a mobile app developer and have an idea about this great new service that you can develop that can solve a problem pretty neatly, then I would suggest go with html 5.

If you want to build something that uses the OS component like address book syncing or stuff like that, you can use a framework.

Now currently if I wanted to develop an app for iOS that uses phone’s hardware and OS features deeply and don’t want hassles in testing phase, I would go with native application structure. Same goes for the games because of certain technical reasons.

But this is going to change in 2013 and I think this is my prediction. (not sure for high end games)

Tools like DART language by Google has impressed me to my bones.

And speaking of Google, Google has recently developed a web-app called jam with chrome available here jamwithchrome.com. This is sooo cool. You just gotto check this thing out!

They made it to show the possibilities to developers with chrome, html 5 and JAVA, as well as make us love’em for a cool fun web-app that’s free!

So the bottom line of the above argument is that web apps are the futures. Native apps are not going anywhere. It’s just that they will be used for highly complex apps that’re gonna use hardware as well as deep OS functionalities.

Right now, html 5 + framework isn’t as smooth as native. This is one of the reasons why Facebook terminated html 5 version and launched a native version. Mark Zuckerberg said in Tech Crunch’s recent conference that it was a mistake to bet too much on html 5 and they learned their lesson.

Same goes for Tumblr. They also launched their latest version in native.

But on the other hand, the platforms and browsers are starting to support html 5 + frameworks based development as deeply as possible.

But this is just starting to catch the pace.

And this time it is going to be huge for us as a community.

I guess we have to wait for this year’s WWDC and Google i/o to see the latest OS releases from Apple and Google.

Frankly speaking, I’m not impressed with Apple with HTML 5 support. They should support it to its bone, firmly and as deeply as possible.

Hopefully with iOS 7 we might able to see some progress that is significant because Google is doing some pretty impressive work with it.

I hope one day YouTube will become full HTML 5. It’s not gonna be 2013 I guess for this whole transition. But it’s near.

The problem with Adobe’s flash is that it has a lot of security issues. And I think Adobe should take some serious action to clean it up and make it faster. Adobe should forget about innovations in flash for a while, just make the current goddam software less malicious to hackers and make it as concrete as possible.

I can’t wait for html 5 technologies to go 100% mainstream used in every possible field of web development.

This is going to make the web experience incredible and will take it to a whole new level.

The softwares that we currently use as native apps in windows, Linux and OSX will be able to do the entire job smoothly as a web-app.

I can also see the rise of Linux usage if this happens.

I can’t wait for these new technologies to go full mainstream.

When you go to Apple’s website and see the iPad demo on their landing page built using html 5 and mp4 videos embed in it without sound showcasing incredible demo, it feels great to see such a wonderful execution.

With CSS3 you can see infographics can be amazing and built completely in html 5 + CSS3. Web GL is amazing and is going to change a lot and promises us some cool new incredible things that we can do natively instead of using Flash or any external plugins.

But what I believe is important is how many developers actually start using these cutting edge technologies to build amazing web-apps and elements.

More importantly, the compatibility with most devices.

Not to forget that according to Chitika, most android users have 2.2 or 2.4 installed because most androids that’re in the market are cheap ones and updates are difficult to get.

So there are few challenges that I’m confident that we’ll overcome in 2013 and this is going to be an amazing year for the web and post PC era.

Holla!

A lot of people ask me about introducing them to any VC or any angel who is my friend. Hell you have no idea how many people come to me and pitch me based on an idea.

I want to address one key important aspect here:

Here is the thing. Ideas are not a valuable asset. Its not even an asset. It’s just a concept in head.

When you’re starting up, you need to put it on a paper, create mind maps and give a hell lot of thoughts to it.

Share it with people and get input. Research and come up with a simple and doable plan.

Then comes the hardest part – Execution.

And this is the most important part that actually makes or breaks a startup.

Soto elaborate more on this subject, I created a short video. Watch it:
