  It was not until I understood the simple principle that my life changed for good.  I definitely had made my shares of money from real estate and got numerous rewards and recognition for everything I have done in the real estate arena but I was still not happy and definitely not living my dreams.  If fact I was being really frustrated with everything in life and probably hit an all time low.

With the downturn of real estate as we purchased quite a few properties at the all time peak in 2007 we were certainly suffering and can barely managed our cash flow.  I didn’t want to go back to the corporate world and declaring bankruptcy was not an option for me as it’ll affect lot of our investors credits and fortunate for me I do have the support of my brother and we will both do whatever it takes to turn things around.

My brother on the other hand was doing really well with his business, which was a spinoff from our real estate venture together so for the short term he definitely can help cover any shortfall until the market turn around.  I can definitely join him in his venture and he had asked me in many occasion as he keep seeing me trying new things but just haven’t gone anywhere with it.  He actually gave me an ultimatum that if I don’t succeed by the end of my second years of what he called playing around I would have to join him…but that is not my dreams.  Out of desperation I revisited my Abraham-Hicks’s book Ask and It’s Given as I have seen one of my best friend done so well with just applying some of the basic principles of law of attraction and in a short time she was able to completely turn her finances around and also meet the man of her dream and marry him in a short 3 months.

At the time of writing this I been consistently practising just the basic of Abraham’s book, Ask and It’s Given for 5 months.  I often find myself listening to just one-track 100x until I can really understand the message behind it and diligently applying some of the principles they talked about in the book.  I have been able to attract a daily accountability partner and since then and with my daily consistent work I have been witnessing one miraculous events one after another:

-  I am happier and healthier.

-  I completely got myself off all medical drugs for my thyroid, which I had been on for over 25 years.

-  I have been consistently getting FREE parking spot, events and opportunities are starting to open up for me that I never dreamed possible

-  I am even starting to win prizes and draws.  Most recently, at a function, I won the grand prize, which is a $2000 program and the cool things was I already have the program in my library.

-  I have been called “lucky” many times.

Although I have not totally solved my money challenges but I definitely believed that I am on the right track and have something to cheers about.  Wouldn’t you agree?

I been asking for the past few months for a mentor to help me with my Internet Marketing business and help me work on getting the 6 figures income or better that everyone always talkes about in this business. And you know what? I finally found someone yesterday and it felt amazing.

First let me define what is the role of a Mentor:  it is someone who is several years ahead of you in the area you want to be successful in, who has entered in a relationship with you based on their enjoyment of helping other high performers reach success, and your dedication to taking what you learn from them and turning it into high performance.  Most people who become highly successful want to help other people do it too.

My current mentor is someone that I actually currently working with and I have bought one of his programs but I just couldn’t get it off ground.  After taking the last 5 months to really work on my own re-alignment and Law of Attraction I was finally put in a position to contact Nick at one of his recent webinars and I did.  To my surprise he was so happy to hear from me and glad that we finally connected and was so happy to hear of my progress and how I am approaching my whole business vs just being scatter and all over the place.  He asked that I continue with what I am doing and not continue with his teaching on social media until I get the basic down first.

He also asked that we connect again in 3 weeks time to check on my progress and if I get struck anywhere along the way to just contact him and not let that deter me from reaching my goals.  Needless to say I felt like I was on cloud 9 after our short 15 minute conversations as I been working on this for the past 15 months and going in circles.

In future articles I’ll talk about how to find a good mentor and why mentor also want to give back and mentor you as well.

I get asked this question a lot and I thought that it would be fun to do a simple blog post on this.  The simple answer is NO.  Let me demonstrate this with an example.

In this video is a very good friend, Lourdes Gant  singing Mariah Carey, All I Want For Christmas is You. Lourdes sang this song when she started dating her boyfriend and needless to say they are happily married now. From the time they were meet to the time they were happily married the whole process took something like 3 months and 3 years later they are still happily married, more in love than ever before and have a baby boy that is 2 years old.  At the time of writing this article she and her family are enjoying a pre-Christmas celebration in Las Vegas.

I was there at the time watching the whole process as it unfold; at the times I thought it was funny as every time I was over visiting her she was obsessed and diligent in practicing this song.  I remembered that she didn’t have a microphone and instead she used a rattle I had giver her from my trip to Mexico.  I’m so happy to see Lourdes is now living her dreams in more ways than she could ever have imagined.  You can get in touch with her here. ===> Loudres Gant

I been asked so many questions lately what I been up to and I thought it would be fun to share them in series of blog post as I continue to work on creating my second million.

One of the quickest ways to create what you want is to do dream building and what exactly is dream building? There are many ways to do this, you can:

- Look at opulent things in magazines, brochures and pictures

- Go window shopping

- Take a test drive in your dream car

- Go to a jewellery store and try on a ring or watch

- Try on a new suit or fur coat

- Make a video like what I did here of your dreams

- The closer you can get to the item physically, the more powerful this technique is

- Do this often but at minimum once a week!

The KEY is to have what you want so vividly playing in your mind 24 hours that even your mind is starting to believe is real. You will know that you are close to your dreams when what you want wants you!

This is exactly what happened to me as I was sitting at one of my favourite Starbucks studying one of my new mentors work. I was so inspired by his message and wanted to create something similar. Half way through re-watching one of my favourite video in come one of my teacher and within 2 minutes, he quickly answered my questions and gave me the answers on how to make my own dream building video.
