Create a Sweet Logo in the Form of Wrapper

Our today’s tutorial about the creating a logo in the form of wrapper. First, we’ll create a background texture, and then we’ll turn the key figure and its stroke. After this, we’ll use a nice text effect and write the main title. Next, we’ll create a text with a rectangle, apply a layer style, and then transform it, mimicking a decorative ribbon.

On turn is the next tutorial how to create a logo in the form of wrapper using Photoshop. It’s quite simple lesson and I believe after you finish, you’ll become more skillful. All companies need logos, and if you learn to create a logo in Photoshop, you would had a huge chance to earn good money on it.

First, we’ll create a background texture, and then we’ll turn the key figure and its stroke. After this, we’ll use a nice text effect and write the main title. Next, we’ll create a text with a rectangle, apply a layer style, and then transform it, mimicking a decorative ribbon. After we’ll write the help text and some decorate it. And at the end we’ll decorate our whole composition with the element in the form of diverging sunlight. So, let’s try to create great logo in Photoshop.

The final result:

Step 1

Create a new document with the size 600*450 (Ctrl+N). Set the foreground color to # 5b3522.

Step 2

Apply the Filter>Texture>Texturizer.

You’ll find this options on the top. In the result, you’ll have a nice texture as a foreground.

Step 3

Take the Elipse Tool and draw an oval, fill it with color # e8ae5a (use Paint Bucket Tool to fill it with the color).

Step 4

Double click on the current layer and change the options Stroke, as on the picture below.

Open the Gradient options and change it as well. On the left set the color # 411103, to the right set the color # ffffff.

Here the result you should have:

Make a duplicate of the layer with oval, move it below the original layer with the oval and in the layer style settings (double click on the layer) change the position of the stroke with the “Inside” to “Outside.”

Step 6

Using the font http://www.dafont.com/chocolate-dealer.font“> Chocolate Dealer. Write the word “TopWebDesign”, the size of text 70 pixels, the color # ce2e1e.

Step 7

Apply a layer style to the text, change the Stroke options, as it shown below:

Next, use the font Pacifico, color # d72f1e, create a tape of dots. Means put the dot by dot with no space and you’ ll have a tape, make it a little longer than the chocolate text. Move the red tape to fit the text TopWebDesign. You can see the options on the picture below:

After that, apply a layer style to a tape, as on the Step 7. The layer style of the tape is the same with the chocolate text. Here the result:

Now we need to deform the tape a little bit. Use the right mouse button, select Warp Text on the top, change settings as shown below.

Here the result you should have:

Now create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift +N). Using small stiff brush, paint the white space between the bottom of the text and the top of the red tape.

Step 12

Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N). Use the Type Tool and pressing the underscore without space, create a straight line of four underscores. Then repeat this process nine times. You should now have nine lines with the color # 411103.

Step 13

Now we need to deform these nine tapes. Using the right mouse button, select to Warp Text with settings as shown below.

Move them to the left edge of the red tape.

Step 14

Now apply a layer style Gradient Overlay to the layer with nine tapes. The color of the gradient from # 431500 to # d72f1e.

Step 15

Make a duplicate layer with the tapes. Remove the three lower tapes. In the layer style Gradient Overlay change the direction of the gradient to reversed by clicking the checkbox “inversion” and move the little tapes to the right edge of the red tape.

Step 16

Using downloaded font Pacifico, Write the text right on the red tape. We wrote “wdremix.net”. You can use options, like on the picture below.

Step 17

Then double click on the layer and change the layer style:

Next, change the font to Arrial (it’s standard font in the program) and change the size to 11 pixels, use the color # 431500, write a phrase SINCE 1901.

Step 19

At this stage, I chose a long time what visual element to put on the round, until I’ve stopped on the icon of the first set of this collection of icons. You can put any other suitable image.

Step 20

Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and move it right above the background layer.

Step 21

We use brushes http://mouritsada-stock.deviantart.com/art/Brush-Pack-Rays-Of-Light-94180757“>Rays of Light in this tutorial. Click with the right mouse button on the any work place and chose Load Brushes from the drop down menu.

Step 22

After downloading the brushes, take one of the brushes and create the decoration in the white color (#ffffff), as on the picture below. We use the brush #1988.

Change the blending mode of the layer with the rays of light to Softlight, you should have something like this:

Create Tasty Cookies Text Effect Using Photoshop

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to Create a very tasty Cookies text effect using Photoshop. You will learn some useful tips on the use of layer styles, filters and brushes to create different elements of cookies.

The final result:

So, let’s try.

Step 1

Create the new document with the following size as on the picture below:

Step 2

Create the new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and call it “Wood”.

Step 3

You need to download the texture of wood, you can find it http://subtlepatterns.com/?p=1104“>right here. Then, open the pattern in Photoshop and Go to Edit -> Define Pattern, and type in any name you want for the pattern. I’ve called it “wood”.

Step 4

Back to your new document, take the Paint Bucket Tool at the Right side (shown below) and in the option right on the top choose Pattern as a Fill type and choose “wood” from the drop down menu. Then fill the whole document with the pattern. (shown far below)

Step 5

Create the new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and call it “Gradient”. Then choose the Gradient Tool and change the options like it shown on the picture below.

Change the Blending Mode on the Soft Light.

Step 6

Click the Create new fill or adjustment layer icon, you’ll find it down the Layers panel, and choose Levels.

The Shadows Value should be on the 65, like on the picture below.

Step 7

Choose the Horizontal Type Tool. Then go to the Window>Character and change the option, as it shown below. I’ve used the Bubblelegum Font. Then write the word you like, for example “WDremix”.

Step 8

Now take the Brush Tool and open the Brush Panel (F5). Make changes in options as on the picture below:

Step 9

Create the new layer and call it “Stroke”. The color of Foreground should be #a06600. Choose the Direct Selection Tool.

Then back to the Brush Panel and finish changing the options:

Click on the document with the right mouse button and choose the Stroke Path.

Step 11

Choose the Brush in the appeared window, you’ll find it in drop down menu and press Ok. Here what you should have in the result:

Make a copy of the text layer (Ctrl + J) and then hide the original one (click on the icon of the eye).

Right-click on the copy of the text layer and select Rasterize Type. It means that you won’t change the text anymore.

Step 12

Apply a Gaussian Blur Filter with a value of 2 pixels. You’ll find it on the top menu.

Hold down Ctrl, click on the rasterized layer and the layer “Stroke”. After that, combine them into one (Ctrl + E).

Make a copy of the layer (Ctrl + J) and hide it for a while.

Step 13

Double click on the original layer to open the sheet. Apply the following styles:

Drop shadows: Mode – Multiply, Color – # 825a0c.

Bevel and Emboss: Style – Inner Bevel, Method – Smooth, light mode – Overlay, shadow mode – Multiplication.

Step 14

Make visible the appeared copy and click with the right mouse button on it. Choose Convert to Smart Object.

Step 15

Then go to the Filter> Sketch> Reticulation right on the top menu.

Go to the Filter>Brush Strokes>Ink Outlets.

Then go to Filter>Texture>Craquelure.

Step 16

Go to the correction of Hue /Saturation and set up as shown below.

Go to the Color Balance.

Step 17

Set the Blending Mode to the Soft light. You should have something like this:

Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and name it “Frosting”. Set the fill color – #eae2cb, the background color – #c3a46c. We will apply the layer styles before painting something.

Step 19

Go to layer styles (double click on the layer “Frosting”) and set as follows:

Drop shadows: Mode – Multiply, Color – # ad7b40

Inner Shadow: Mode – Multiply, Color – # 9c958f.

Outer Glow: Mode – Multiply, Color – # e3ddd2.

Bevel and Emboss: Style – Inner Bevel, Method – Smooth, light mode – Linear light, shadow mode – Multiplication.

Texture:

Satin: Mode – Saturation, Color – # 838383.

Color Overlay: #ebe1c6.

Step 20

Select the Brush Tool and go to the Brush Panel (F5). Set up as shown below:

Step 21

On the layer “Frosting” paint glaze. Since the styles we have used, you’ll immediately see the final result. Change the brush size, use the cancel function and remove unwanted parts.

Then duplicate the “Frosting”, right click on it and choose Clear Layer Style.

Step 22

Apply the Add Noise filter

Set the layer Blending Mode copies of “Frosting” to the Soft Light and lower the Opacity to 50%.

5. Don’t forget about image assets importance
Text-only posts are no longer the most valuable ones on Facebook Timeline. What you need to do is to emphasize the visual aspect and, correspondingly, add more visualization to your publications. This is also explained by the fact that on Timeline images and videos will appear in a larger size than it was on the Wall. Together with stories visuals will make up an eye-catching presentation of the content you want to share with your fans.
