Chichen Itza Travel Review: Chichen Itza is a famous archaeological site in Mexico. It was built since 900 AD by Mayan civilization. The Chichen Itza consists of several pyramids located around the temple and palaces. Currently the site was defined as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The Chichen Itza was recently discovered only 150 years ago. The reason that why they are just discovered it because it is buried underground and overgrown forest surrounded.Currently, archaeologists still working on the site because they believe that there are a lot of pyramids that we have not find it yet. May be the rests are buried underground in somewhere.

Nowadays, Chichen Itza is one of most popular tourist attraction in Mexico, and the number of tourists each year more than 1.2 million people.

This is a statue called Chac Mool (Chuck data). For the definition of the statue still remains as a mystery. No one knows what does it means.

Cenote Sagrado; the width of this place is around 60 meters and it deep into the underground. It occurs naturally. Mayas used to ceremony, and they believe that God lives in the underground. The rituals were throw young women wearing beautiful clothes and jewelry to this hole.

This is the ball court. It is a very large stadium it. It is a sport of the Mayan.

7 days in Japan travel itinerary, Takayama to Osaka: This is our first post about Japan travel itinerary. This plan we created by our experience during we travelling through these city. So, we need to share our experience to everyone that planning to travel in Japan. And we hope that this itinerary could be useful for your travel itinerary.

Day 1; Takayama

We start from Nagoya and then go to Takayama. We stayed in this city for the first night. Downtown sightseeing is our first activity in this city.

Day 2; Takayama to Shirakawago

We went to Shirakawago (one day trip) for more information about Shirakawago check out this: Guide to Shirakawago, most beautiful traditional villages in Japan. After that, go back to hotel in Takayama.

Day 3; Takayama to Kyoto

Heading to Kyoto. Due to a lot of interesting attraction in this city, then we decided to stay in this city for 2 nights. First of all, the easiest ways for travelling in this city, we recommend you to buy Kyoto City buses (1 day bus pass). We used this card for travelling to attractions as below:

5 Most ultimate hiking trails: Hiking on some ultimate trails is one of my wish list. So that today I’ve tried to find out all of the trails information around the world, and then I selected 5 items to be the most ultimate hiking trails for today. So if you are a big fan of hiking then should not be missed. By visiting theses hiking trails you’ll have experienced something special for sure.

El Caminito Del Rey

Okay we’ll start from this trail first, EL Caminito Del Rey or Camino del Rey. In English language we called “King's pathway”. It is located in El Chorro, near Álora in the province of Málaga, Spain. It was built in 1905 (more than 100 years Oh god!). Due to the age of this trail is quite old, then the trail is not strong and some paths are destroyed. You should mind your step everytime when you walking there. However, there is only one rule before you climbing there is your age should be at least twelve years old. More information here

Huashan Cliffside Path

Next, the Huashan Cliffside. This is one my most ultimate hiking trails. It is located in Shaanxi Province, about 120 kilometers east of the city of Xi'an, near the city Huayin in China. It used for climbers that need to full feel their extreme experience. This trail is quite dangerous because in some point is narrow and it easily to drops from mountain. So if you think that these things cannot scare you then should try. More information here

This trail is very ultimately and difficult route, and it challenging every climbers around the world. The hiking trail is located in St Pierre d'Entremont, in the Rhône-Alpes region, France. More information here

Yueyang's New Paths

This trail is located at the northeastern corner of Hunan province, South Central China, and the trail height around 300 meters above the ground.

Ebenalp Path

Guide to Shirakawago, most beautiful traditional villages in Japan

Shirakawago (白川郷) is a traditional village that located along the Shogawa River in Ono district, Gifu Prefectures, Japan. In 1995, this village is added in UNESCO world heritage site. Shirakawago is one of most famous tourist attractions in Japan, and it is most beautiful villages in Japan as well.

The highlights of Shirakawago are architectural, and how they construct the house. Once you visit, you will see all the houses in this village are large (three to four stories), and used tall roof with a slope 60 degree. The roof is consisting of clay, wood, bamboo and bent. This architecture, in japan they called as Gassho-zukuri. For the reason that they used the tall roof because the snow is very heavy in winter season if they used normal roof the snow volume could damage to the house, that why they used this roof.

Another feature of this village is all the house was constructed by without nails. They used nature method to construct by using the wood overlap each other.

During the winter season (around January - February) they will open the lights in their house in evening once a week for tourism promote.

Sightseeing spots:

- Wadake Home is the largest gassho-zukuri in the area.
- Shirakawa-go Hirase Onsen. It designated as a national recuperation onsen.
- Miboro dam, Lake Miboro
- Hida Tunnel
- Hakusan Rindo, It is hiking path in the area.
- Amau Pass (天生峠), famous for its fall colors; 30 minutes away by foot is the Kōsō wetlands, also famous.
- Shirakawa Hachiman Shrine, where every October 14–15, the Nigorizake Festival is held.

How to get in:

The buses is an easiest ways to access this village, you can take a bus from Takyama and Kanazawa. To reach there, it takes around 50 minutes, and ticket is around 4300 Yen (In my opinion, that is not so expensive!). However, you can check the bus timetable from this link

Where to stay and sleep:

For more experience, you can stay overnight at the farmhouse. For the cost around 8000 Yen per person includes dinner and breakfast which feature local dishes.
However, if you think that stay at farmhouse is not convenient for you, then Takyama and Kanazawa is the best palces to stay stay because it not so far from Shirakawago.

How to get in:
The cheaper way is to go by minibuses (shared taxi) or called as Dolmuş in Turkish, which are available every 10-15 minutes from Selcuk central bus station or from Kusadasi Dolmuş stop. The minibus will leave you at around 1km from the gate situated downhill.

Sultanahmet Mosque

Sultanahmet Mosque is most popular tourist sites in Istanbul. Many people are known the place as Blue Mosque. The mosque is so impresses for many tourists around the world. It located in Sultanahmet Square; you can go there by tram and get out at Sultanahmet station.

Bodrum Castle/Castle of St Peter

Dolmabahce Palace

Mount Nemrut (Nemrut dagi)

However, you have to be prepared to get up early (at about 2.30) if you want to see the sunrise. It's quite a distance from the mountain and its best if you have your own transport or arrange a guided tour.

Note: if going up Nemrut to see the sunrise, do not forget to bring the warm clothing with because it can get cold up there (even in summer).

There are frequent dolmuş services from Adıyaman, which depart every 15 minutes until around 22:00 (3 TL).

Sümela Monastery

Sümela Monastery is a spectacular rock-hewn monastery perched dramatically on the narrow ledge of a steep cliff in the forests south of Trabzon.

Hotel Review of Soneva Gili Resorts at Maldives: This is the first time we stayed at the Soneva Gili resort by Six Senses, and it is a great experience for us. We have taken a vacation for whole week at Soneva Gili resort, Maldives.

We really like this resort because their service is very good and calm atmosphere. For sure that we never forget to taken a photos for everyone, then let see my review of this resort as below.

So, we will start the review from this picture: The photo was taken at the way from the pier to Soneva Gili resort.

This is the scenery of resort (Villa zone). On that day the weather is very clear and calm waves.

Along the way to the Villa, we visit here for taken some photos. This picture was taken at the pool of the resort. Here you can enjoy swimming with the beautiful sea background.

This is another view from pool. I really link this resort.

After that we walk to the breakfast zone of resort that located next to the pool. That is very nice that when you take a breakfast on the beach and wave sound as background.

Finally, we walked through the villa that we booked. And now, we will take everyone to see how the inside of Villa looks like. Let’s go!

This is the living room of Villa. It was decorated in yellow style and wood furniture’s. In my opinion that very match with the blue sea.

Next, we came to the bed room. It was elegantly decorated. We feel like we need to lay down to the bed immediately.

This is my most favorite spot of this Villa. Here, you can read your favorite books from the beach chair with the wave sounds and very beautiful sea. Moreover, it is very easily access to the sea, and you can go snorkeling from here every time that you need.

Also, in the bathroom was elegantly decorated with Six Senses style.

In the Bathroom, there is the way to sea. You can go swimming every time from here.

We forget to mention that, this villa is 2 stories. After we taken a lot of photos at the ground floor of Villa, then time to see the second floor. In this floor, there is a small bed reserved for you to sleep, read a book or everything that you want. And you can see the private villa zone from here as well.

After that, we went to the restaurant. It is located on the sea next to the Villa zone.

Inside the restaurant, it was elegantly decorated.

A Guide to Kinkakuji Temple, the Golden Pavilion - Kyoto: Many Japanese people had known Kinkakuji temple (金閣寺) as Temple of the Golden Pavilion. It is a Zen temple and also is the most popular temple in Kyoto. The temple used to be the relaxing place for Ashikaga family, and it also has been used to be a place for produce the famous cartoon name “Ikkyu San”. The temple is located in Kyoto, Japan. It was built since 1955. The signature of this temple is Phi-nix bird at the top of the temple and the gold leaf that covered in the top two stories. The temple was surrounding with small canals and pond, it is so beautiful and lovely garden. The temple is also listed in UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites in 1994.

What to do:

Kinkakuji temple is a three story building by each floor uses different architectural style and the top two stories of this temple are also covered with pure gold leaf as well. You can walk through each floor and see the beautiful decoration that decorates in different style in each floor. Also for the outside, you will see the beautiful landscaping surrounding the temple.

There is souvenir shop located near to the existing gate; here you can buy some gifts for your friend and your family. Also near to Fudo Hall's building there is a place that you can hang a piece of wood with your wish. For the local people they believe that if you hang a piece of wood here your wish will become true.

How to get in:

The temple opens daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. It very easily to get there, you just take a bus (routes 101, 102, 204, 205) to Kinkakuji-michi station (金閣寺道). Then walk around 300 meters (5 minutes) you will see the temple.

Villars-sur-Ollon Travel Guide, Best Ski destinations in Switzerland: The winter is coming soon, it would be nice if we can do something exciting rather than just stay warm in living room, watching coronation street or hell kitchen!!! I am talking about skiing in Switzerland, where is the top destination for beginner and advance skiers at all times, mountains are covered by fluffy snow all year, feel the sun just about to hit your head!! I had a wonderful ski trip at “Villars-sur-Ollon”

Villars is located in the canton of Vaud, part of the municipality of Ollon, Switzerland. easily accessible from Geneva and then you can take a train from there to Villars and use the cog railway to reach the resort. The trip with a car is also suitable but it takes longer than an hour. So, I suggested you to take a public transportation; safer and more convenience. Also, you can be relaxing by taking a beautiful landscape, just a few yards from the window, what a chilling time!!

First of all, let’s check the weather before plan your journey. By the way, I suggest you to prepared your ski costume such as waterproof jacket and trousers, long johns or thick legging. (I recommended heattech t-shirt and legging from UNIQLO is pretty good and affordable!) gloves, goggle, and hair band. I paid £20 for no-brand hair band!! How silly am i ?!?... I didn’t recognize it gonna cost a lots till a girl behind the till asked me the money. I have no choice as I needed this hair band as forehead sun protection. For this reason, do not try to buy any ski costumes on the mountain!

Where to stay:

Everything in Villars is a bit expensive, if you wanna save money for a nice meal. You better go to B&B inns, cost from £42 per night. On the other hand, if you don’t mind to blow your money for a nice king bed and completely fabulous jacuzzi, just go into 5-stars hotels, Grand Hotel du Parc, cost from JUST £330 pound (480 CHF) !!

Where to rent your ski equipment:

plenty of shop that you can borrow the ski equipment, you firstly need measure the height and then tried on the boot, and pretend to skiing on the slope, bend your knees, turn left, right. When you stand straight, if you have a little space just front of your toes, that boots is good for you.

Where to get a quick lesson:

As I said, this was the first official ski trip for me, I needed to have a quick lesson. And I picked Villars Ski School due to hotel recommended and cheaper than the others! I paid about around £40 for 2 hrs lessons. The ski trainer taught me how to control my legs, turn right, left and the most important thing is how to stop. T

How to get up to the mountain?

There is a tram from here (in picture below) up to the mountain, I paid for 3 days card pass that cost around £50.

Traditional food:

Fondue is the traditional swiss menu, Fondue is molten cheese. We eat it by dipping small pieces of bread or meat or carrot in the molten cheese. The secret is the mixture of different flavors of cheese. Typically, fondue is served on cold winter days, but many restaurants serve it all your round.

Ko Surin is an archipelago of National Park, Thailand. It is located in Phang Nga province, Andaman Sea, South of Thailand. The park is located approximately 60 km from Phang Nga province main land. The islands cover area around 135 square kilometers in total. The islands consisting of five islands, which are Ko Surin Nuea Island, Ko Surin Tai Island, Ko Ri Island, Ko Kai Island and Ko Klang Island. Climate:

Ao Tao, There are several big fishes surrounding this area.

Ko Pajoompa or Mungkorn Island, enjoy snorkeling with beautiful various coral and fishes.

Ko Khai, you will see Staghorn Coral, Turtles and Blackfin shark.

Ao Suthep, you can see Gorgonians, Scleractinian coral, Ray and guitarfish

Ao Mai Ngam, you will see a lot of fishes here.

Ao Jaak, There are several coral reef and fishes.

Currently, the national park government are not allowed the tourist to stay in the island over night. However, for the easiest ways, I would suggest you to book the hotels at Khao Lak in Phang Nga province and buy one day trip from there because it is the nearest place to access to Tachai Island. Another way, if you think that Phang Nga is not comfortable for you. You can book the hotel in Phuket city as well.

Their itinerary depends on time of year, from November until february there are 2 frecuencies: at 7.30 AM arriving at 9.30 Am to Laguna Amarga entrance, and in the afternoon at 14.30 PM arriving at 16.30 to Laguna Amarga Entrance. From this point there are shuttles available to gest into Las Torres sector where Base Of Las Torres trek (the most famous one in the park) starts.
