The mission in the beginning was to make FLUD ($4) a modern, beautiful and personalized mobile news ecosystem with a vision to empower it’s users to interact with each other to access, engage and broadcast news topics that are relevant to them. FLUD began as a personal project and experiment of the designers with a goal to create a sexy mobile news reader application and to do it within a month. FAILE一直是橡皮精热爱的一个做urbanart的团体，橡皮精在上海和FAILE有过一起展出的机会，所以一直关注着他们。这次是FAILE一个新的全球性的艺术项目，涉及纽约，上海，伦敦等地。这次在葡萄牙的活动更是惹人瞩目，在这座充满艺术气息的城市，街头艺术集体在Restauradores盖了一座寺庙。通过自己的3d艺术装置，将寺庙的场景与自己的作品混合在一起。非常魔幻，让人都不知道哪些才是寺庙原来的雕塑而哪些又是FAILE的作品。

Flipboard 在最近两天迅速成为全球最热门的 iPad 应用，一经发布服务器就达到瓶颈，同时受到用户和评论界的多方赞誉，可谓非常成功。

Flipboard 的核心功能是从 Twitter 和 Facebook 等抽取内容信息，以简单有效的设计呈现给用户。因此中国内地的用户不翻墙是无法使用的。

Flipboard 可以将用户自己的 Facebook 和 Twitter 用户连接起来，这样用户可以看到朋友分享的内容。与此同时，用户也可以自己添加 Twitter 源，从拥有 Twitter 账户的媒体和 blog 那里获取信息。Flipboard 的内容呈现特点有二：一是它自动从 tweet 和推荐中获取链接的内容并生成长度适中的摘要，使得 Twitter 的一百四十字符限制所导致的信息量不足问题得以缓解；二是它应用了成熟的网格系统和字体设计，从而清晰高效地呈现这些内容。此外，Flipboard 放弃了仿真的翻页效果，而是采用了简单的“半页翻转”（flip）效果，也就避免了《连线》杂志那样在平面上移动页面而产生的导航盲目感。

评论界盛赞 Flipboard 对于出版业界的启示。在一片传统媒体推出电子书般的 iPad 应用的时候，Flipboard 让我们看到了真正面向未来的阅读应用软件应该具有的样子。它拥抱社会化的媒体，重新将内容选择交回给用户，放弃了模拟平面出版物的老路，真正成为了新时代出版业的杀手极应用。比起同类的新闻聚合器如 Pulse，Flipboard 较强的交互和平面设计无疑更胜一筹。

Treasure Hunt for Sapporo Beer

As part of Dentsu Canada’s Legendary Biru campaign, Toronto-based interactive creative production companyLollipop has launched an online treasure hunt at legendarybiru.com. Visitors to the site enter a lavish journey through Japan’s rich cultural heritage that reveals the brewing process behind Sapporo Beer. Throughout this journey, lead by a character known as The Sage, a number of scrolls can be uncovered. Those who reach the end of the journey are given a message tailored to the number of scrolls they’ve discovered, while those who collect all 15 are entered to win a trip to Japan.

To created the vertical narrative scrolling experience in Flash, Lollipop stitched together live action, CG and matte paintings created by Toronto production companies Sons and Daughters and Crush.

Scratch My Back: Collectors’ Edition

Daniel Mason got in touch with CR recently to tell CR about a new collectors’ edition of Peter Gabriel‘s Scratch My Back album. At $299, the pack won’t appeal to everyone
Here are images and a run through of what is included in the lavish release:

Mason acted as consultant to designer Marc Bessant who designed the pack which comes in a full colour and gloss laminated lift off lid box:

– which contains a 4GB USB key containing 96khz/24 bit studio quality audio of the album

which comes housed in a high density laser engraved foam tray:

Blood red, 180gsm heavyweight 12 inch vinyl pressing of the album featuring new sleeve artwork unique to the edition:

The special edition double CD pack of the album, housed in a case-bound, full colour and gloss laminated 10 inch cover – which is itself housed in a high density foam tray:

A 12×12 inch print of the original album cover artwork, printed on 352gsm Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite Smooth stock, signed and numbered in pencil by Peter Gabriel:

And you also get a a foilblocked and numbered certificate of authenticity! Only 500 of these editions have been made.

前些天无意间发现了Ghostly 发布了iphone APP ‘GHOSTLY DISCOVERY’ ,通过颜色，速率，电子化来筛选出适合你喜欢的音乐，非常漂亮的界面，音乐也相当符合我的口味。

而今日他们更加将这个庞大的数据库放上了网络，登陆网站就可以直接去体验了。快些动手吧。

值得一提的是在今日他们就将更新他们的新的app来满足iphone 4.所以有iphone 的朋友可以准备下载或更新啦！
