It’s just like a piece of tasty blueberry pie

The picture of the movie really works well in catching attention. Probably this is what people would talk first about this movie. The shots focus more on the circumstance as a whole rather than detailed. Thus, the movie works better at giving you a feeling rather than telling you what’s happening. The motion is the second spot in this movie. They together make a love tale in a modern time. The strangers but soul mates, the coincidental confront but miracle consolers. The whole time watching this movie is much more focusing on the feelings and circumstances rather than actually what’s going on. The time plot switches from a rainy summer day to a cold winter night. The actress’s location is always changing, from the stories happening around her, we are able to trace her motion. She’s like a bird, keep moving, seeing, feeling, and comforting herself all the time with a neat heart. The taste of the movie is also like a piece of blueberry pie, healing the heart in a cold rainy evening with warm and sweet power. Getting rid of all that convenience in today, the guy and girl share a bond through the old fashion posting letters. The music suits perfectly with the whole rhythm, so emotional and relaxing just like a piece of tasty blueberry pie.

Elizabeth wants the often unwanted blueberry pie. She likes to take the love slow this time. She’s encouraging many other people and she stands the pity from the life of the others. She always passes on the miracle healing power of the blueberry pie to the people around her.

The story, the acting, hm…

The movie is inevitably a bit boring due to its slow rhythm which is a typical Wong Ka wai movie. There’s also one more thing must mention is that the acting of many actors are far from satisfaction especially the ex-wife of the cop. Generally speaking, if you were looking for a more cheering and exciting movie, this probably is not the right choice.

The movie really managed to extend the story to the depth of the society. The problem of corruption, incompetent parents, lies, and desires.

The movie ended up with Patrick and Amanda siting on each side of the sofa with silence, which reflects Patrick’s rigidity to justice at the beginning turns self-condemnation and confusion. Is this outcome really the justice what he risked his life for? This movie is a real shot of really people, really street, really life! The shots of lost people in the crowed street add extreme melancholiness to the movie. The color and rhythm of the movie perfectly suit the mood of Patrick. The discovery of the truth is shocking. The story itself is quite attractive, the performance of the actors are also fabulous.

If you are looking for a crime and mystery movie, you should watch this!

Jackie Chan and Jet Li get together for the first time on the screen to make a fantasy adventure film.

It’s already enough to attract movie lovers with two great stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li. After long wait, we are going to see the fantastic Jet Li and Jacky Chan together in The Forbidden kingdom. The plot is quite interesting and we can guess there must be a lot of good martial arts and funny performance. It seems it has great choreogrphy as well.

All of the colorful and chaotic characters in the film are based on Chinese mythology.

The film is based on the ancient Chiness legend of the Monkey king who is a master of Kung Fu, magic and wisdom. Long story short four main characters are tring to bring down the Jade Warlord (a bad guy) and free people of his kingdom.

Hope it’s not only focus on Jackie Chan and Jet Li’s fighting

It’s ture many people would choose to watch this film because of the two big starts and the movie producers would know about that. However I hope this movie is not only focuing on their fighting. As the story is very famous and good to know, I hope they don’t mess up the story too much and and just to be too hollywood style. If you are interested in the Monkey King’s story, here you can have a read.

Anyway, It’s quite interesting to see the big stars in the same movie and is a must-watch movie this year!

Sometimes, I feel like walking on the cloud, sometimes I’m in the middle of very heavy raining. I feel so hurt and sore and also sometimes I’m so inspired by their voice from heaven. The classical songs have very long history and there have been a lot of vocalists in the history. Last year we had very sad news. One of the greatest Vocalists, Luciano Pavarotti, has passed away last year. It’s our tragedy to lose him, but his voice will remain in our mind forever.

This second one is good, but worse than first one.

As most of series movies faces, National Treasure also fails to overcome the first one’s success from it’s second movie. This adventure is not as fun this time around. The storyline and entertaining seems worse than the first one. It’s the same concept except this time Ben Gates must prove his great grandfather had nothing to do with the assassination of Lincoln and instead knew the where abouts of another secret treasure, the city of gold.

But still National Treasure: Book of Secrets has a lot of entertaining with good story line. It is faster paced, has more locations, more plot twists, bigger cast, and better one liners. This film would not be as good as any Oscars winners but it will keep you smiling until the end.

Adventure and humor!

The story line is full of archeology, history, humor, and adventure that takes our lead characters to Paris, London, Washington DC, and Mount Rushmore.

But as other Hollywood movies, this movie also cannot get out of Traditional Hollywood story. A bad guy seems very bad, but finally help main actors and sacrifice himself. And main actor never die.

Nicholas Cage - alwasy good acting!

The acting is great. My one of my favorate actors Nicholas Cage looks a little older but is still the Ben Gates we love. Justin Bartha is by far much better in this film, with snappier lines and delivery. His character even develops! John Voight is also better in this film and is in it much more. Helen Mirren’s character was a bit cheesy but she played her brilliantly. Ed Harris did a lovely job as the villain. Sadly Harvey Keitel was not needed. He was great once again and i believe he should have been more involved. The surprise of the movie Bruce Greenwood playing the president. He was superb.

Another Indiana Jones?

The concept is quite similar as Indiana Jones and many people say Indiana Jones is much better. But it true that National Treasure has its own adventure and entertaining. Haven’t you watch this movie yet? I recommend you to grab the DVD and popcorn this weekend. You’ll enjoy this movie.

Wow amazing story and wonderful graphic!

Dr. Seuss has not always found fortune when making his way from page to screen. But Third time seems to be a charm for the big screen adaptations of Dr. Seuss. With its amazing story and colorful graphic, adults as well as kids are also attractive by this animation!

Great voice acting by Jim Carey and Carol Burnett!

Jim Carey does a great job in bringing the character of Horton to live, without being completely over the top. Carol Burnett as the Sour Kangaroo brings just enough fright to her role as to not completely darken the story. The characters are brought to live with the pure intent of the Dr. Seuss without seeming fake.

Running time is too short.

The short running time is always a problem of animation movies (except Ratatouille). This animation also has this issue and makes me feel there should be something more…

Overall it’s worth to watch!

The story is amazing (but I still give Monsters, Inc. a top rank for the best story) and the voice acting is quite nice. Even if you are adult, you will like this finally successful animation.

Jodie Foster’s Comedy Acting

Nim’s Island is a kidadventure comedy movie in which we can see Jodie Foster’s comedy acting. Personally, when I see Jodie Foster, the movie coming up in my mind at first is always “The Silence of the Lambs (1991)”. Back then, it was quite amazing thiller movie and I must write about it one day on wearemovielovers.com. Besides The Silence of the Lams, Jodie Foster acts in thriller movies quite often like “The Brave One”, “Flightplan” and “Panic Room”. So it’s quite interesting for me to watch her comedy acting.

Abigail Breslin acted quite depressed and calm in No Reservations, but here we can see her another side of comedy acting. Also she’s learning how to train the animals.

It’s good to have a family time.

It’s main target seems kids and their parents. The story looks quite predictable and would be not enough to enjoy as you can see from it’s short running time. Also the ending might be a happy ending (actually it should be :-))

However, targeting on kids doesn’t mean bad. Kids and their parents will have a nice family time together and it’s the best outcome of the kids movie. Moreover, many audults will also enjoy this adventure and comedy movie if the story isn’t missing too much elements.

03:10 To Yuma is a fine movie with great story and performance.

It expresses the love of father to his son and family in a special way. We can see fear turned courage in the eyes of the young boy. It’s better than the same movie in an older version taken in 1957 because of better actors and pictures, even dialogs. Ben is a criminal but a more complex person, he draws, he reads and he philosophizes. This adds charm to the movie and this character of him sometimes confused Dan. The relationship of the two men is amazingly bonded. The picture fully shows the lawless time in the west of America in that period, gangs, bullets rain, and dangerous, depressed small pubs.

Full story with humor and nerve.

The short is attractive, you never feel like you have been there for about 2 hours. The story is full, about life, about money, about love…there are ongoing humor, and nerve too. Especially, at last, if I left alone against a gang member… well… it’s pretty nervous!

You will fine a real classic western American style in this movie

Any one interested in western style picture will definitely find his place here. The scene is a classic western America in early days: dusty roads, small pubs, cowboys, guns, and temptation.

The performances are phenomenal

Russell always plays a stunning role! He acts all kinds of roles, professors, businessman, fighter…here gang. Everything about his acting is just fantastic. Christian is cool here too. Not much women in this movie, only two and both in middle age, but both of them are stunning, pretty and natural.

Action lover’s favorite

This movie is about west life and gangs, of course can never miss the action part. The action here is realistic, which is different as many other Hollywood movies. However, you will never feel down even there’s no fancy action. Cowboys shot behind 1930s cars, on the dusty roads, and the old train adds enough exoticness.

Are you a action lover? Then get it now, you will definitely like it!

Funny romantic comedy.

After Hot Fuzz (Smart police officer man :-)), Simon Pegg comes back as a Security Guard at a Women’s clothing store with a lot of fun. The title is Run, Fat, Boy but actually he’s not that fat. I guess the Fat includes laziness and a clueless. There’s a bit of moving moment as well as funny situation. Simon Pegg is always at his best and his movie is a joy to watch.

Nice performance.

From Shaun of the Dead to Hot Fuzz to Run, Fat, Boy, Pegg’s performance has always his best and it’s fun as well. In this movie, you will laugh a lot from his best romantic comedy acting. Thandie Newton’s also a fine actress in this movie and previously (Crash and The Pursuit of Happiness) as well. Hank Azaria is also suitable in his role.

However, the story is predictable and the concept can be seen in a lot of other romantic movies.

The story is quite simple and predictable. There’s no any turning up story. The story will be something like what you are thinking of. The story concept also seems some part is from some movie and another part is from another movie. It doesn’t mean this movie is duplicated from other movies, but you might feel no fresh about the concept.

On the other hand, this movie does tell you something about the life.

I remember their conversation between Dennis (Pegg) and his son, Jake. Dennis says “As you get older, you’re gonna realize there are a lot of things that you don’t like. Things much worse than this. And when those things happen, you can’t just run away.” and Jake asks “why not?” and he says “Because it doesn’t solve the problem. The problem’s still there. You’ve got to stick at it, and then figure out a way to solve the problem, even if it’s really really hard.” and Jake asks “Is that what you do, Dad?” Hm… Is it what I do…??

You can enjoy your 1 hour and 30 min with this movie.

Even if the story is predictable, this movie still gives you a lot of fun and good sentences. After this movie, I can recall my Math teacher, when I was in Hign, told us “Laziness is the biggest enemy of mankind.” Let’s run every one!
