This August we are taking some time for “The Three R’s.” No it’s not Readin’, ‘Ritin’ and ‘Rithmetic. We are taking some time to:

Rest: Camping Trips and our 6th Anniversary Celebration in Wisconsin

Regroup: Consider why it is that God has Revolution Church in Belle Fourche. Make plans accordingly and come back in     a new format if necessary.

Relocate: All of our technical equipment will be moving to a new location to service the Middle School Ministry of Christian Life Center. So we will be relocating to make use of them. The new space will be a great location (more on that in the future).

Did you know there are about 27 million people trapped in modern day slavery TODAY? Did you know that this is a worldwide problem including in the U.S.A.?

If you were not aware of this (or if you were) please join us this Sunday night for “Wide Awake ‘Code: Orange’” this event is a presentation of “Eye Heart World” an organization committed to helping in social issues through the sale of products with the proceeds going to one of three organizations (GEMS, The A21 Campaign, Not For Sale).

Here is some information about the “Code:Orange” Presentation from Eye Heart World:

Wide Awake is an initiative of Eye heart World designed to bring awareness to social issues. The “Code: Orange” presentation educates people of the growing issue of Human trafficking. While many people know that modern day slaver is on the rise with some 27 million people entrapped as victims, many Americans don not know that it is a massive problem in the U.S.A. Whether it is happening in the tomato fields of Florida, affluent homes in Southern California, massage parlors in Detroit, or traveling prostitution rings in small town U.S.A. it is a all slaver and it must be stopped. the more we open our eyes to the atrocity of modern day slavery, the more we protect ourselves and speak up for those who have no voice of their own.

In the “Code: Orange” presentation, you will learn the following:

- What human Trafficking is and is not.
- How bad the problem really is.
- What to look for in potential victims.
- How to protect yourself and your family.
- What you can do to bring and end to modern day slavery.

If you want to be more informed on this issue and what your family can do to help please make plans to join us this Sunday (June 10, 2012) at 6:30 pm at the Community Hall in Belle Fourche, SD at 512 6th Ave.

There will also be a Rally for Students on Wednesday June 13, 2012 at the Community Hall in Belle Fourche.

I (Clay) just returned from a weekend in Denver with 14 students… 12 of whom were girls under 19… 8 of whome were under 13.

More importantly I haven’t seen my family in three days so I am going home to kiss my wife and wrestle with my BOYS!

We took the whole system to Rapid City last night in support of an allnight youth event called “The Final Countdown.” This event in was hosted by The Uprising, a group of youth pastors from around the Black Hills passionate about putting affordable quality events for students with a goal of “Empowering Youth with the strenght to rise up -the Romans 8:11.”

The event was a great success but it effectively gutted our tech department.

We’ll be back next week with the conclusion of our Elements series.

A new series starting 10-2-2011 at 5 pm in Eaton Plaza

Well September is over! Can you believe it?

As we begin October we will also be starting a new series. This series will be a look at the Gospel.

We will take four weeks and look at four different aspects of the Gospel.

Week 1: It – The what of the Gospel

Week 2: Accomplishment – What does the Gospel mean for those who have trusted Jesus?

Week 3: Offer – Who is the Gospel for and how can we faithfully share it?

Week 4: Forever – Not the primary focus of the Gospel but what does it mean for the rest of forever?

Join us and bring a friend. This will be a great time diving into the intricate simplicity of the Gospel that saves and empowers the world to live a new life that is Good News to the World. A life the looks like Jesus’

Men’s Advance is a time to be challenged, have fun, shoot guns, eat great food and develop a brotherhood.

We have rented Kamp Kinship this year and they will be feeding us and providing lodging as well as the meeting space.
