The key to happily developing a WordPress website that’s both client and web developer friendly (and don’t mistake those for the same thing) is often how the Admin area works and interacts. Here at Web Design Market Harborough, we’ve come across several plugins in our years of developing WordPress website that we believe can be super helpful. Here are our top three (our ‘Fab Three’ if you will!)

Advanced Custom Fields

Advanced Custom Fields allows developers to set up custom fields for clients to enter details in. This is ideal if you have two, or three column layouts with specific text areas.

Attachments

Attachments utilises WordPress’ built in Media functionality, but lets you upload multiple images to a single post, page or custom post type. Personally, we find this much easier to manipulate into galleries and sliders in our web designs

Contact Form 7

Contact Form 7 allows you to create multiple forms from the ease of your own admin panel, manage the number and type of fields for people to fill in, change who the email is going to, and the structure of the email received. Fantastic!

Thanks for reading our web design and WordPress post today – check back soon for more posts. We won’t leave it so long this time – promise! (we got distracted making our customers websites!)
