This could happen for a variety of reasons. You are correct that the version difference can certainly make a difference, but granted you are using two different hosting companies, it is likely that they also have different PHP configurations. Even with dedicated (or virtual dedicated) hosting environments, you'll find subtle differences. There could even be differences between operating system versions. As far as PHP versioning is concerned, see the release logs for potential performance changes:

http://php.net/releases/5_2_14.php
http://php.net/releases/5_2_15.php

I hope this helps!

I have two Wordpress 3.0.5 blogs with two different hosting companies. I set them up so that each has the same plug-ins installed: Akismet and TPC! Memory Usage, and both to use the Wordpress "default" theme based on Kubrik.

When I display the dashboard for one, TPC! says the peak memory is 22MB and the other one says 15 MB.

So is this a real result or some kind of a quirk with how PHP tracks memory usage? (The small usage site is PHP 5.2.14 and the other 5.2.15.) If it's real, which number is out of line?

Thanks for the totally useful plug-in.

Manuel Sechi:

I also took the exam twice and of course I passed the second time. I think the mock test is a little bit misleading and let you underestimate the exam.
When I took the exam the first time, 2 years ago, I was working in an agency focused on perl programming and I was a long time not programming in php. I studied a lot from the certification book and I didn’t pass.
Then I changed job, and during this time I’ve been working on php every day, using the book as reference for better practice on my everyday work and then I got another voucher and took the exam and I passed it without studing no more.
So, my advice is to focus on your real work experience rather that on the certification book.

can u plz guide me what r the stpes i want to do initially for zend cert

"This software is not only unnecessary, but it seems to be a self-promotion"

It may be a self-promotion, but it's cool software and "ignore deactivation" isn't general function. Hack works only for flash, but AMM works for any full-screen application.

I don't think that author wanted to self-promotion.

it's so complicated..

Use 'actual multiple monitors' (-deleted by editor-). Press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-I on necessary window and it will be ignoring deactivation... It'll allow you watch fullscreen video (play fullscreen game) and do anything else on secondary monitor.

[Editor Note: This software is not only unnecessary, but it seems to be a self-promotion. The overwhelming majority of people have had no problems w/ this method, and have benefited from it without needlessly throwing away money.]
