This month there are four, count them, four new Webkinz Pets to choose from.

The Cherry Blossom Bird comes with a Cherry Blossom Loveseat and Cherry Blossom Cheesecake.

The Guinea Pig comes with a Hidey House Lounger and Petite Pellet Palette.

The Springer Spaniel comes with a Day Outdoors Bathtub and Spring-Skewered Sausage.

If you're looking to get into the Webkinz Charm Forest the Webkinz Charm Bracelet will not help you at all. But if you'd like a nice bracelet that can also be used as a collar for your Webkinz then this bracelet will do just fine.

In order to get into the Charm Forest, you need a charm. There's no way around that. But once you get a few charms, you'll need somewhere to put them. Most charm bracelets are perfect for that but this offical Webkinz Charm Bracelet also comes with a code. And when you enter it in Webkinz World you'll get a virtual charm case to store you virtual charms in. Not a bad deal.

Overall, this bracelet is a good deal and you'll be happy with it unless you thought that you can sneak into the Charm Forest with it. Sorry.

Webkinz Movie Room

We had about 10,000 dollars in Kinzcash recently. Then one day I logged in and noticed that my son had built a movie room and all that hard earning Kinzcash was gone. Well at least it's a good looking room.

Okay, I guess I had better read my post about How to Get Kinzcash and build that balance back up.

One of the newest Webkinz Recipes that was recently discovered is pretty cool looking and it's called Monstrosoupy. If you can imagine what it would look like if there was a monster in your soup, then you can imagine Monstrosoupy.

Actually I feel bad for the giant tentacles that are coming out of the bowl. The ingredients sound pretty gross so it's no wonder that whatever is in there is trying to get out.

Webkinz Monstrosoupy Recipe
On the Stove, Add the following:

Pickles
Raisins
Mushrooms

The ingredients are fine by themselves but put them together and you get Monstrosoupy.

The Webkinz Reindeer makes for a great gift. You could even buy 8 of them and set them up so it looks like they're pulling a sleigh for a cool holiday decoration Webkinz style.

There must be some amphibian lovers over at the Ganz Company because there's a bunch of different versions of the Webkinz Frog

There's the Webkinz Frog, the Webkinz Love Frog, the Webkinz Bullfrog, the Webkinz Tie Dye Frog, the Webkinz Tree Frog, the Webkinz Spotted Frog and the Lil' Kinz Tree Frog and the Lil' Kinz Bull Frog.

But the coolest part about the Frogs is that they hop when they're in Webkinz World. Do you go out to your Webkinz Garden, then go on and hop right over. How about going to bed? Well you can hop right over to bed too. It's a silly little thing but it amuses me and make buying a Webkinz Frog worth it.

Halloween is right around the corner but it's isn't too late to get a
Webkinz Bat.

As you can see this plush bat is pretty cool looking and I especially like the green eyes. It's a nice touch that give the bat a little edge to it.

The best part about the Webkinz Bat is that it actually flies around Webkinz World. After you adopt it, you'll probably wind up spending some time moving around in your Webkinz Rooms just to watch it fly.

Webkinz Recipes - Punchy Nutkins

This will be the last of the pumpkin related recipes as our surplus of farm fresh pumpkins is dwindling. This one is called Punchy Nutkins.

I don't really know what these Punchy Nutkins are supposed to be. I'm guessing they're some sort of gummy type snack. They look like little red boxing gloves and they come in a bag. And I don't know where the bag came from either but that's part of the charm of Webkinz Recipes.

The ingredients are Pumpkin, Peanuts and Punch. Just whip them together on the stove, grill or cauldron and you'll have some Punchy Nutkins.

Webkinz Recipes - Galactic Gumball

Since we're still trying to get rid of our Farm Fresh Vegetables, I've got another Webkinz Recipe that you can make with pumpkins.

Galactic Gumball Recipe
The Galactic Gumball is sort of a planet shaped treat that's served with a bowl. It's an stove recipe (that can also be made on a grill or in a cauldron).

The ingredients are, pumpkin, orange and honey.

When you give this Webkinz Recipe to your pet, it'll usually say that the Galactic Gumball tastes out of this world.

Freaky Flan Recipe
If you're like me and my kids and you like doing some Webkinz Gardening, then you'll probably have a lot of farm fresh food on hand all the time.

I think at one point this summer we have over 25 pumpkins. So do you want to know what you can do with tons of pumpkins? Why you can make tons of Webkinz Recipes of course!

Freaky Flan is a stove recipe. As usual, any stove recipe can also be made on a grill or in a cauldron. The ingredients are Lemon Merinque Pie, Pear & Pumpkin.

I really wouldn't think that there would be pumpkin in flan, but I guess that's what makes it freaky.

Webkinz Gardening

Webkinz Gardening is a great way to provide healthy food for your Webkinz. But like most activities in Webkinz World, the more you log on and do it, the better the results.

You can see in this picture what your garden will look like if you don't bother to log in everyday to do some weeding.

And in this picture the weeds are all gone. But the work isn't done yet. Until the W. Shop starts selling automatic sprinklers, you're going to have to water your garden.

Then after some watering, all of the crops in the Webkinz Garden are Good Growing.

World Wide Webkinz

Do any of your Webkinz speak French? How about Italian? Spanish? Well even if can't speak a foreign language now, within the next few months they may just start.

Looks like Ganz is expanding Webkinz to the rest of the world. Over the next few months they will be translating parts of Webkinz World to other languages and opening a global Webkinz online store.

Of course, I say good for them. Having a global presence will definitely be great for the Webkinz bottom line but I hope that this expansion doesn't cause the existing users any problems. As it is now, it's hard to log on sometimes. Lots of times during peak hours, we aren't able to log into Webkinz World and the sad part is that we don't even get a Server Busy error. It just says that the logon information is incorrect like the wrong password was typed in.

Webkinz World uptime has definitely improved since my son and I joined a few years ago so I know they aren't sitting back and just trying to milk their cash cow. But some more work needs to be done.

"Sorry but there's too many people logged into Webkinz so you can't play now" is not a fun thing for a parent to say in any language.

Webkinz Polar Bear

The Webkinz Polar Bear is the first Webkinz that I ever bought for my kids. It was a birthday gift for my son and I figured a Polar Bear would be a good choice for a boy. Polar Bears swim in the ocean, eat a lot fish and they're pretty cool looking with all those razor sharp teeth and white fur. Being a Dad, I went with the most manly Webkinz that I could find.

That year, we had his birthday party before his actual birthday and wouldn't you know it, his aunt bought him a Webkinz Pug. You know the tiny little dog that fits in a purse. So the pug wound up being the first Webkinz that we adopted but the Polar Bear is still my favorite.

Webkinz Cares

Webkinz and Walgreens have teamed up to create the Webkinz Cares program. They say it's a program to help kids.

Some Webkinz plush toys at Walgreens will now have a extra Webkinz Foundation tag with a special code inside. Enter the code into at the Feature Code Shop and not only will you get a virtual gift but the same gift will be sent to a random Webkinz World users. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Now I don't know if there's any charity involved or if when they say it's a program to help kids, they just mean that they're giving free stuff to random Webkinz World users, but I like what Ganz is doing. Webkinz World keeps adding new features, promotions and events and it isn't getting stagnant at all. My kids are just as interested in logging in now as they were a year ago and it's because Webkinz really does care.

Does Webkinz World Have Advertising?

Webkinz World really has never really had advertising. Sure there's lots of fake banners that say things like, "Go Outside, Buy An Outdoor Room". But these aren't paid advertising, they are more like little banners that remind you of the cool things that you can do in Webkinz World.

Well it looks like that's about to change. Because today when I logged in earn my son some KinzCash, I noticed that there was a new tab called "My Options" that was in the My Pets, Care Award area.

My Options lets you choose whether or not you'd like advertising to be displayed. It was nice of them to include the ability to turn the ads off.

At one point, I remember that there were experimenting with advertising for the Alvin and the Chipmonks movie. I guess that was a successful test and they're going to start doing it more often.

As long as the advertising is age appropriate and doesn't take away from the Webkinz experience, I'm all for it. With such high traffic, showing ads will make Webkinz a lot more profitable. And hopefully that will mean less down time and lag.

Webkinz Green Gecko

The Webkinz Green Gecko is kind of cool looking. And when it comes to Webkinz, cool looking is an important thing for my 5 year old son. He's in Kindergarten and getting his first taste of peer pressure, so the cute and cuddly Webkinz won't cut it anymore.

I think one of his classmates must have said that Webkinz are for babies or even worse, they might have said that Webkinz are for girls. Because for a month or so, my son wouldn't play with his Webkinz at all. But my wife says that all his friends have Webkinz and when they all get together for storytime at the library, all of the boys sneak off to the computers and log into Webkinz World. There's nothing babyish about goofing off at the library with you buds, so I'm guessing that the Webkinz bashing is over with.

And the Green Gecko is pretty boy friendly. He's green and a lizard, so he'll probably pass the coolness test until at least first grade.

Here's an odd Webkinz Recipe. What do you get when you mix a Shrimp Cocktail, Fish Sticks and a Bagel and toss it in a sandwich maker? Why a Deep Sea Barnacle Bagel of course.

For those of you who didn't guess correctly, I'll repeat the ingredients right here.

Deep Sea Barnacle Bagel Ingredients

Shrimp Cocktail

Fish Sticks

Bagel

Add all three to a sandwich maker and you're ready to enjoy this bizarre Webkinz meal.
