I am writing this to let you know that Webmomz now has a new owner, Diane Drayer. She has been a long time member of Webmomz and is a remarkable woman who we feel with lead Webmomz with utmost integrity and a caring heart.

Michelle and I have felt so blessed sharing our lives with you over the past few years. Our children have grown up together. We have shared the major events of our lives together. You have been such a wonderful family to us.

When Michelle and I started Webmomz, our children were very little. It was such a joy to share the journey of growing our businesses together. We felt very connected to you all and could really relate to what you were going through in the trenches with your businesses. Now we are at a point in our lives where we need to move on to the next chapter in our lives.

What we are excited about is that someone who has new passion and energy will be here to serve you. Diane has been a top direct selling mom for many years. She has successfully run several online community sites. And we truly feel we could not have found a better choice for someone to take over with love.

What is your Morning Routine?

Part of being at the top of your game is taking time to prepare yourself in the morning – mentally, spiritually, physically. I have some morning rituals that help me to feel fulfilled and ready to go. COFFEE of course is #1. Then I like to take time to pray, give thanks, and possibly meditate. Sometimes I take time to send a Gratitude email to myself with a list of everything I am thankful for that day. Next I like to make my to do list for the day of realistic things I can accomplish that day. Finally, I like to “check in” with friends, clients etc with email and Facebook.

What are your morning routines to get you ready for the day?

At a time when many people are setting New Year resolutions I find myself wanting to focus on foundation. To me, you can’t reach higher then the strength of who you are. Having your feet planted firmly in who you are is important. I am excited to re-explore “who I am” “what I want” and truly THRIVING in my life! For me the best gift of being an entrepreneur is the gift of freedom. You are free to choose – how you spend your time, what projects you work on, your direction. I feel myself wanting to hunker down back to basics: friends, family, faith.

Tonight I am starting a mediation class – something I have always wanted to learn. Tomorrow I am starting a new bible study class. Since my husband and I often work weekends doing wedding shoots for his Chicago wedding photography studio, it makes it difficult to get to church. So I am really looking forward to getting reconnected to women on faith.

I have hired an awesome personal coach – someone I truly know, trust, and respect. I am very excited to work with her!

Send Family Photo Cards for the Holidays with Kristie’s Favorite Tool

Saw my first Christmas commercial the other day and it got me excited. I LOVE the holidays. It’s truly a time to give thanks and celebrate with family. Starting after Thanksgiving I get very excited running to the mailbox to see if we got any Christmas cards. And I LOVE sending out cards to reconnect with everyone special in my life during the holidays.

One of the things I have found that takes the “stress” out of the holidays for me is Send Out Cards. I have been using it for 3 years and love how easy it makes it for me to send out my holidays cards. I just upload my family picture. Create a custom card. Write what I want it to say. Then I hit “send” and it goes to my entire Xmas card list.

It used to take me a couple weeks to hand write out the cards. Now I can do it in a couple of minutes.

Did any of you notice a MAJOR reduction in your Google Adsense earnings recently? It could be from Google’s recent Panda update in July 2011.

Why did Google do an update you ask? The Panda goal is to remove poor quality sites from Google’s results pages.

Tips on what to do to Improve your Site so Panda Ranks Your Website Better:

Remove any “article directory” non original content and replace with fresh original content
Edit any ‘over-optimized’ pages so its less SEO spammy
Build your brand awareness across the web wherever you can – so you get more searches by company name and your personal name.
Make sure pages load fast
Reduce bounce rates
Make clean navigation – bread crumb helps
Make sure SEO tags are super relevant to the page content. Be sure to use Title tags.
Get people to LIKE, GooglePlus, and Tweet about your content. Put buttons on every content page so they can easily do that.
