Helium closes accounts of users from non English countries

I was not able to access helium for some months. I submitted many articles there and I was afraid about losing my earnings. I’ve contacted the support team twice, but didn’t receive any replies. I asked about this on forums and other such websites, but never got a satisfying reply. Finally I’ve got an email from Helium.com concerning my access on my account (Everyone outside US must have got one). I t tells that Helium will no longer allow users from countries where English is not the primary language. Anyway users with $25 or more will get their payments. Helium says

"Because you cannot access Helium, or will soon be blocked from access, we feel it is only fair to remove your content from the site. Full rights to the work

.All users can copy and paste their articles to your hard disk and publish it elsewhere after mid-July since Helium delete them from their server. Anyway users who’ve got below $25 will not get their money for their work. It’s really painful! Imagine that 1000 users had average $20 balance in their account, they’ve lost that money! So a total of $20,000 unpaid!! It’s a fact that Helium gives full copyright to it’s users after deleting their articles. But I guess Helium must have made some ad revenue from the pages we’ve published and all that money goes to them leaving users unpaid. Well, they may release new versions for some countries and we hope we’ll get access in some future.

My experience

Just after signing up I found a little difficult to find the stuff I was looking for, but soon it became user friendly for me. On the first day, I didn’t do much things, I just uploaded an image and went to bed. But when I checked my earning the next day I was shocked, it was $0.1, this is a good amount for one image upload. Even Shareapic.net pays $0.22 for thousand views and this experience made me active there and my earnings are going up. Anyway I am not saying that we can earn up to $1 for uploading 10 images, since I got $0.1 for one image, but I am saying that this website pays quite well.

Ciao is a good website to work with. Earlier they paid up to $1 for every 120 word reviews!! Now also you can make some good amount from them.

What you should do.

Write product reviews. Just don’t limit your reviews to 120 words, let it be 400-900 words. You are free to review about the products listed there. There are also many websites on which you can write reviews on. The good part of this is that you can use the website for FREE and write reviews on them, unlike other products.
Another important thing is to read, rate and comment on your friends’ and other users’ reviews. Now this is really important since Ciao pays only based on the rates you receive (that’s why I told that you may write a bit detailed reviews). If you rate others’ reviews they’ll do the same on your reviews and your earnings go up. So such a mutual relationship is a must on Ciao to get paid!

Other features

Ciao is not jus a ‘Get paid to’ websites, moreover it’s a social community. You can make new friends there, send them private messages. You can even write messages on your friend’s wall. Using Ciao it’s easy to find virtual friends who have your interests (you can understand about their interests by looking at their reviews!).

My experience

I used Ciao for several months and got good payouts from them. I just work half or an hour on Ciao and I was able to earn more than $100 per month. They’ve paid me on the correct time and without any problems. Ciao.com is one of the best GPT websites I’ve ever used.

Important

Ciao now don’t allow all countries to access their website due to high level of abuse on the site including plagiarism, spamming of members, and revenge ratings (anyway you can read reviews, but can’t write or get paid). Shvoong needs reviews and summaries of books, movies, websites and academic topics. Beyond this you can also write on the topics such as internet & Technology. Well at Shvoong you’ll generate some earnings. But it’s not very easy; many people have the opinion that their earnings with this website is rather slow. Shvoong only shares 10% of their ad revenue with their users, which isn’t good enough. It means if your articles generate $100, you only get $10. Here you are the one who created this revenue and you are the one who deserves more money! (Of course they can take some from the revenue since they provides a platform for us to earn)

What are the other features?

Shvoong is not only meant for making money. Using Shvoong we can reach our opinions and experiences to wider audience. Shvoong also lets you to add your blog links and to drive more traffic to your blog. As a conclusion we can say that Shvoong is not a place where you can expect for some real big money. But if you love to write online and are not bothered about the amount you earn for your work, Shvoong is worth for you!

Referral Program

My experience

I don’t have many active referrals on Mylot. Yet I found that we can earn some 10-20 cents just by doing some activities out there. It is a good amount without having any referrals. I guess if one has at least 10 active referrals there he will be able to make $10 payout every month.

If you post at least one content and one video a day and have a small network you can easily reach the minimum payout of $10 each month.

What you should do.

Just write reviews and wait till it is accepted. They may not accept all your reviews. But if you write some long and informative review the chance of getting the standard rate is high. Referral Program

My experience

I am Roshan Ahmed. I am currently a student and want to make some money online so that it helps me in many ways.
