We are delighted to announce the awarding of a new contract to develop a web site for ePlus Global, a company working in the water services compliances industry.

The new site will be dual purpose.

The general public facing site will explain the companies services and give vital information to industry on subjects such as Legionella control.

The second part of the site will be a document store which can be accessed by various levels of users, from Local Authority heads to individual location Managers. The store will contain all documented history of each location as required by law.

We look forward to launching the site at the end of August.

Dean Forge chooses to redevelop site with Webselect

We are delight to announce the decision of Dean Forge to choose Webselect Internet once again to redevelop their web site for the coming years.

Dean Forge is one of the biggest and longest established suppliers and manufacturer of wood burning Stoves, multi fuel stoves, traditional range cookers, flues and lots more in the South West. Dean Forge offer many of their hand made wrought iron products ready to purchase from their showroom, however numerous customers commission Dean Forge to forge or fabricate items to suit there own individual requirements.

The new site will incorporate Webselect's new CMS system which will allow Dean Forge far greater control over site content.

We thank Dean Forge for choosing Webselect once again and look forward to continuing our excellent relationship.

Webselect contracted to develop new financial comparison site

Although the amount of information we can give out at this stage is limited we are delighted to announce that Webselect have been selected to develop a new financial comparison web site for a major UK retailer in conjunction with a UK based IFA.

More information will be released later but the site will allow users to get quotes for multiple financial products from multiple providers and to buy online.

We look forward to working with both companies.

Liebherr Coolectric site due to launch very soon

Liebherr are one of the worlds largest companies with divisions dealing with construction, aerospace and mining to name just three.

In the UK Liebherr are well known for their domestic appliances and we have been tasked with creating a new site for this part of the business.

The site will show the full range of appliances and will allow users to compare as well as get full technical details. It will also tie into the registration scheme offered by the firm.

The site is nearly complete and we expect it to launch within the next 2 months.

Keswick chooses Webselect to redevelop their web site

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Webselect Internet has been chosen by the Keswick Tourism Association to redevelop the Association web site for 2010.

Webselect has worked with Keswick for many years but the choice to work with our team was not taken lightly. We had to go through a complete tendering process which saw us matched against some very prestigious web site design companies from around the UK.

After written and visual presentations the Association decided to ask Webselect Internet to work with them again.

We are particularly pleased to retain the Keswick Tourism Association as the existing web site has been a great success and has caused other regions to comment on the quality. We are really excited about the new plans for the site which we need to stay tight lipped about for now in order to help Keswick stay one step ahead of other destinations.

Miniature Pony Centre new web site goes live

New site for Dart Valley Cottages goes online

Dart Valley Cottages have worked with Webselect for a number of years and this is the second release of a new web site for the company.

Christine from Dart Valley Cottages wanted to improve the overall look and feel of the site whilst gaining more editorial control over the individual pages on the web site. However, it was key that we added all the new design and functionality without changing the thing that the old site users liked the most... the simplicity of it.

Dart Valley Cottages are a self catering holiday cottage agency with a fine selection of holiday cottages in South Devon. The majority of our self catering cottages are in the Dart Valley reaching from the vibrant little market town of Totnes to the historic maritime port of Dartmouth where the River Dart reaches the sea overlooked by Britannia Royal Naval College.

Two new sites on the go

We are pleased to announce that two new web sites are in development and both for customers who have been with Webselect for many years.

First up is The Dartmoor Miniature Pony Centre who have held a site with us since early 2004. The new site will take into account the huge growth in visitor numbers to the existing web site over the last few years as those on holiday and locals use the Internet to plan their summer days out.

The Centre chose to contract Webselect again as they felt that we had given them great service over the last few years and wanted to use our new content management system to control more of their web site themselves in future.

The second site is for Dart Valley Cottages who are a leading South West agency dealing in quality accommodation. Dart Valley came to Webselect in 2006 and this site update is the biggest yet with a fresh new look and many new features.

Both sites are expected to launch in April

Mark Bell has been playing with jQTouch to develop an iPhone version of our web site using app style features but all via a web browser.

The new mini version of our site is now available at http://m.webselect.net - please note that this will not work properly on your PC or Mac as it is designed for iPhones or Ipods.

The object is to get a better understanding of the way we can use iPhone technology but via web browsers rather than going through the Apple store and the complicated approval process needed.

We will be developing an iPhone version of SelectCMS for our own site as a trial and to see just what we can achieve.

Of course the technology used for iPhones will be very useful to know as the brand new iPad launches in just a couple of months and the way we use computers could slowly start to change.

SelectCMS is Webselect Internets very own Content Management System (or CMS for short).

Over the years we have worked with hundreds of companies of all shapes and sizes and listened to how they use their web sites, what control they want over them and also, very importantly, what limitations they want.

The latest version of SelectCMS is going down a storm with clients who are using it to run their new web sites.
