I just got an email from Robin Sharma, the known leadership guru and the author of 15 books –  “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” (sold 3 million copies already) and “The Leader Who Had No Title” (my favorite), to mention two of his most known works.

I know how powerful thoughts are. I often say to myself that I’m the only one responsible for both my success and failures – not others, not the government, not religion. You have to listen to your gut instinct and follow nobody…

If I had of listened to folks around me saying to quit the Internet and secure a JOB, or not pursue this project or that project – I’d probably have lost the major opportunity to write this article (like many others) and inspire people from all over the globe to start their affiliate marketing business (and build a niche site empire).

I knew a simple truth: doing what makes me happy and what I’m capable of is the key to success and true happiness. I can do anything if I really put my mind into it, by the way – and so can you!

I’ve only managed to scratch the surface for finding ideas for blog topics. Other possibilities include videos, social bookmarking sites (Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, etc.) and discussion forums.

If you have a genuine interest in your topic, there are always new ideas to blog about. Remember also that not every post has to be a groundbreaking new idea. Even putting a new twist on a familiar idea can be very valuable and enjoyable to readers.
