Weekly Blend 206 - The Downside of Up

For the first time in a few weeks, we have new reviews to talk about, with Disney's A Christmas Carol and The Men Who Stare at Goats in theaters. Up is headed for DVD/Blu-ray this week which has us excited. We also have our first conversation about artist of the month John Cusack, looking at movies that don't feature a lot of the star as well as Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Lastly, we talk about several Cusack related projects, word on Independence Day 2, and a new 80's phenomenon adaptation: Jem and the Holograms.

October is officially over, which means maybe we can get back to decent movie releases and news again. For now, we finish off our look at Alfred Hitchcock with the fan picks of Rope and To Catch a Thief and talk about the upcoming movies we are excited about. We also visit some Star Wars rumors, talk about a parody of The Box that may be more entertaining than the full movie, and recount our individual Halloween stories.
