I know their are a lot of people that are in the same situation that I was in. I was over weight and in poor health with high blood pressure and a borderline diabetic. Back when I was overweight I wish that I had a site like this back in 2002 when I was obese. Tipping the scale at 280 pounds at only 6 feet tall, I never had energy and all I wanted to do was eat a lot of junk food. Does this sound familiar? This site that I have put together has plenty of free tools that you can use to help you loose the weight and get you back in shape. My goal is not just to get you back in shape, but to keep you in shape for life. Loosing weight can be hard if you don't know were to start. If you have a plan from the start you you have a much better chance to be successful in loosing the weight. All of the tips and articles are from some of the things that I had to go through when I was overweight to were I'm at today. I'm here to tell you that you can succeed in loosing weight and I will try to help you achieve that goal. To loose weight and keep it off is such a great accomplishment. Their are 3 things you must remember about weight loss! * Plan * Action * Motivation To keep the weight off you have to find something that motivates you. It could be your family, health, or just plain old vanity. I will never forget going into the doctors office and he told me that if I didn't loose weight I could possible have a heart attack by the age of 35. That was all that I needed to turn my life around. Please don't let it get to that point, I will try to help you avoid that. Take your time an browse the many feature we have in this site to aid you in your weight loss goals. You will find many tips that will aid you in your weight loss goals. You just being on this site means that you want to make a change. Some of the many questions that I receive. 1. What are some of the things I can do right now to start loosing weight? You can start by changing the way that you eat your food. Instead of eating 2 to 3 times a day. Changes your eating schedule to 5 to 6 small meals a day, this will greatly boost your metabolism. ( the way your body burns fat ) If you eat like this you will be a lot less prone to overeating, which has gotten so many people in trouble these days. You can expect to loose weight in your first wee if you begin to eat this way. 2. What are some of the best foods for weight loss? I get this question quite often. The main thing you want to do is to eat a balanced diet. I'm not real big on cutting out certain foods from your diet, just cutting back on certain foods. Make sure that you have plenty of fiber in your diet. If you like to eat meat, make sure it's lean meats. Fruits ans vegetables are essential to loosing and&amp;nbsp; maintaining weight. Keep plenty of healthy snacks around like granola bars, nuts, fat free yogurt, these are great to eat between meals. 3. I think I might know the answer to this question, but what are some of the foods that I should avoid? You should avoid a lot of the processed foods. They are loaded with so many additives and preservatives which are not healthy for you. Most of the process foods are in packages. Foods like potato chips, cookies, candy......ect Also try to keep your starch foods to a minimum. Foods like potatoes, white rice, and white bread. Keep all of your consumption of these types of food to a minimum. 4. Their are so many diets on the market these days, which one should I choose? When choosing any diet one thing you should remember is that a balanced diet is the key to loosing weight and keeping it off. Their are many diets on the market today such as the Adkins Diet, The Cookie Diet, Vegetarian Diet.
