			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://weightlosswithgeeks.com/i/diet.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-417" title="diet" src="http://weightlosswithgeeks.com/i/diet-300x199.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="199" /></a>How do we get rid of tummy fat?  That is the main question for so many people these days and the answer is not always so easy.  The one answer that is always suggested though is a mix of diet and exercise.  There are many diets out there and many exercises as well but how do you choose the right combination for you and your lifestyle?  The answers are plenty but here is one of the most common suggestions: lose and burn more calories than you eat.</p>
<p>If you eat more calories than you burn you will gain weight.  If you eat the same amount of calories as you burn your weight will remain the same.  If you eat less calories than you burn you will lose weight.  That sounds simple enough and logical enough to understand.  If you need a summary so far, just exercise and work up a sweat so that you can burn more calories than you are eating.  To make this even easier for you, cut your eating down a little bit and exercise more and this will be as easy as 1, 2, 3.</p>
<p>There are many ways that you can start to diet.  One of those ways is to eat healthy food: vegetables, fruit, non-processed foods, etc.  One of the only problems with dieting healthy is that in can become very expensive.  The price of healthy food just keeps on rising so that is one reason some people use for not dieting.  There are more ways to go on a diet besides eating healthy.  You can actually keep eating the same foods that you are currently eating everyday but just cut down on the size of portions that you eat.  Eating junk food can help you lose weight, sounds crazy right?  Well it isn’t, this is the truth.  If you cut down the size of the portions that you eat, you are cutting down the amount of calories and the amount of fat that you allow into your body on a daily basis.  Add those calories up and you will realize how much faster you are actually becoming healthier. Now, here are two different ways to diet and all you have to do after this is to add some exercise to burn more calories.</p>
<p>There are many different exercises that you can implement into your daily routine.  Some people may not even realize that they are already burning a lot of calories every single day.  Bathing, raising kids, cleaning your house, labor jobs, cleaning your yard and your daily walking are all ways that you burn multiple calories.  This is already half of the calories, maybe even more, that you need to burn every day.  Just add some exercises such as sit-ups, crunches, running, jumping jacks, walking, or even stretching to give your body the extra energy you need to burn the other half of those calories.  Any little bit of exercising helps in losing the weight off of your stomach.</p>
<p>Dieting and exercising are the best possible way to lose any amount of belly fat that you may want to lose.  What you have to decide is whether the time and effort involved in giving up a little bit of food and exercising a little bit more is worth the better shape that you will be in after some time.  If this exercise and small diet is worth the belly fat that you will lose, then you have just found the solution to how you will look better and lose more weight.</p>

Omega-9 fatty acids can be manufactured by the human body; however, Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids cannot. Therefore, they must be obtained through food sources. Essential fatty acids regulate blood lipid levels, blood pressure, and blood clotting, as well as the way a person&#8217;s body responds to infection and injury. Deficiencies in essential fatty acids create a burden on the body&#8217;s cardiovascular system, which increases the risk of hypertension&#8211;high blood pressure&#8211;cardiac arrest, and high cholesterol.</p>
<p><strong>Heart Health</strong></p>
<p>Omega-3 fatty acids are poly-unsaturated fats. Research indicates that adhering to a diet high in Omega-3 fatty acids helps to increase HDL cholesterol&#8211;good cholesterol&#8211;and also lowers triglycerides. Omega-3s also contain anticoagulant properties which prevent blood clots, and this benefit is vital to the prevention of heart attacks and strokes. It is for this reason that essential fatty acids are closely associated with heart health.</p>
<p><strong>Alzheimer&#8217;s Disease</strong></p>
<p>Studies indicate that Omega-3 fatty acids and Omega-6 fatty acids may offer considerable protection from the excessive accumulation of the protein believed to be responsible for Alzheimer&#8217;s disease. One such study investigated the benefits of an Omega-3 fatty acid called docosahexaenoic acid&#8211;DHA&#8211;on Alzheimer&#8217;s patients and the results were optimistic.</p>
<p><strong>Depression</strong></p>
<p>Countries with the highest consumption of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids also have the lowest incidence of bipolar disorder, major depression, suicide and homicide. Additionally, when used in the treatment of depression, essential fatty acids have also resulted in a decrease in symptoms in those undergoing a comprehensive treatment plan. In 2002, a placebo-controlled, double-blind study found that taking just one gram per day of Omega-3 fish oils decreased depression in patients who had remained depressed even after being treated with prescription medication.</p>
<p><strong>Hypertension</strong></p>
<p>Uncontrolled hypertension increases an individual&#8217;s risk for heart disease, which is considered by some experts to be a major health problem in the western world. Research indicates that when the appropriate amount of Omega-3 fatty acids are added to a person&#8217;s diet, a reduction in blood pressure of approximately 2-5 mm/hg can be expected, and those with severely high blood pressure can expect an even greater drop. These benefits appear to be dose-related, as the greatest benefits were seen in the group taking the maximum recommended daily dose of 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids per day.</p>
<p><strong>Weight Loss</strong></p>
<p>In ancient times, humans hunted for some foods and grew others, but everything they ate came from a natural source. It is for this reason that diabetes and heart disease were essentially rare occurrences hundred of years ago. As time went on, processed foods and saturated fats replaced goods fats and caused the aforementioned conditions to become much more prevalent.</p>
<p>There is a strong association between Omega-3 fats and weight loss. A 12-week study done in 2009 confirmed the suspicion that a daily dose of Omega-3 fish oil combined with four sessions of aerobic exercise a week can help one to quickly reach his or her weight loss goals. The participants in the study who took the fish oil supplement lost weight faster than those who simply followed a healthy diet and exercised. The group taking the fish oil supplement also experienced greater weight loss around the middle. This is a considerable benefit, as most experts agree that those with excess belly fat are at a higher risk for heart disease and diabetes than overweight individuals whose weight is more evenly distributed.</p>
<p><strong>Dietary Sources of Essential Fatty Acids</strong></p>
<p>As with any supplement, it is best if one can obtain the recommended daily allowance of essential fatty acids from his or her diet. Foods that are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids include the following:</p>

<li>Hemp seed oil</li>
<li>Flax oil</li>
<li>Pumpkin seeds</li>
<li>Flax seeds</li>
<li>Grapeseed oil</li>
<li>Salmon</li>
<li>Brussels sprouts</li>

</ul>

No study or research done till date has been able to prove that HCG indeed helps one lose weight. So how can the doctors claim the opposite?</p>

If your metabolic rate is high, you can lose a lot of weight even while at rest; on the other hand, if your metabolic rate is slow, then you should find ways to increases it. One way of speeding up your metabolism is by using weight loss pills and supplements.</p>
<p>2. Regular exercises are a must: Regardless of how strictly you follow your diet, if you lie idle all day sitting on your couch and watching your favorite TV program, how can you expect to shed those obstinate pounds? You should exercise regularly and never skip even a single workout session! If you are afraid of high intensity exercises such as cardio and resistance training, you can start with lighter aerobics. Aerobics will help you burn as much fat as cardio. If you cannot do exercises at all, regular walking alone will help you burn fat.</p>
<p>3. Don&#8217;t lose it too quickly: I know that you are in a hurry to lose weight and fit yourself into one of your old jeans or bikinis, but you should never attempt to lose weight too fast. Ideally you should lose no more than 1 or 2 pounds per week. If you lose more than that then it can affect your health negatively. If you think you are losing weight too fast, you should immediately see a doctor.</p>
<p>4. Eat low fat foods only: I know that every weight loss expert has advised you the same thing, but allow me to reiterate that you should eat only those foods that have a low fat content. Eating fatty and junk foods will make your situation worse!</p>
<p>5. Work harder for hereditary obesity: Some people become overweight because of hereditary issues. If your parents were overweight then it is no wonder that you won&#8217;t be any different. Also, people who suffer from hereditary obesity need to work harder than others in order to lose weight. This doesn&#8217;t mean that you cannot lose weight at all; but you shouldn&#8217;t expect yourself to become ultra slim like others.  </p>
