I wonder why the majority of the weird news that I read happened in Japan. Must be the stressful living environment that makes people do crazy things, eh?

This morning, I read on Reuters that a Japanese air force major has been suspended for ten days from his job for shopping for women’s panties and pantyhose NAKED.

Shopping for these is not a crime but why must he go in naked? He thought that it’s a great joke so he stripped off his clothes behind a convenience store before going in for his shopping. Apparently, he just had his shoes on, and wallet, of course. I wonder if anyone has got his photos!

Luckily there were no other customers around but the clerk reported him for indecent exposure soon after he left. Do you think that this is as funny a joke as this guy thought it was?

Man Eats 15-pound Burger Under 5 Hours

When I came across this oddball record breaking news, I felt that it’s perfect tie in for my previous post where the guy claims to have eaten 23,000 Big Macs since May 17, 1972.

In this case, 21-year-old Brad Sciullo took a total of 4 hours and 39 minutes to finish the entire gigantic 15-pound cheeseburger named “Beer Barrel Belly Bruiser” which consists of five-pounds of toppings including bun, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, mild banana peppers and a cup each of ketchup, mustard, relish, and mayonnaise.

For completing the challenge in the under-five-hour time limit, Sciullo won himself $400 cash, three T-shirts and a certificate to show for his achievement.
