Well said HG.

It's definitely worth a look.

Arthur Meek's script was thoroughly researched, thought-provoking and entertaining....and the fact the show was early so we could watch the fireworks, most appreciated.

All is revealed in this

In reply to What's the story, old sport?:

All is revealed in this week's Capital Times!

The bar is indeed owned by the owners of Chicago, and Mr Matthews, our commenter above, is the manager.

It will be named Public, and while it won't be a sports bar, it will still have the ability to screen big games (which I assume means lots of tellies).

There'll also be a big outdoor area, which is sure to be a wintertime relief to all those people who can't drink without smoking.

Personally, as long as they ditch the '90s Photoshop horror that is the Sports Cafe logo, I'll be happy.

Well you have to nip this

In reply to Wastebustas:

Well you have to nip this sort of thing in the bud early, or next thing you know, the brodifacoum sign will take off on a ratepayer funded junket to a swanky London hotel taking the pindone sign along too.

Most of the things he's known for endorsing don't come in the kind of packaging you could brand... crinkled paper bags, small plastic press-lock bags... hmmm :)

Perhaps a range of whitening

In reply to You're fly-erred:

Perhaps a range of whitening toothpastes, from Glow-in-the Dark to Daytime Fluorescent?

Or maybe some eighties-style hair-sculpting gel.

Talking of which, who would buy from the Trump Signature Collection and cosmetics line? The man isn't exactly renowned for his style and taste. "Yeah, this drying orange hair mousse will make my life complete."

Walked by it the other day, and the tiling and the doors are almost an exact match to the bar next door to it - the Malthouse. Could it be that they are expanding...?

to repeat what max said:

if anyone's interested in more about parkour (and the related discipline of free running) the NZ website is at www.nzparkour.com . You can contact us Wellington guys through there :)

That's the best site to follow what's happening with parkour around New Zealand.
