Well, this video pretty much says it all, it happened this past Monday and of course everyone who follows me on facebook knows what happened. I really am grateful that I, nor anyone else was hurt, but it just sucks. You really can’t tell from the video but I did quite a bit of damage to the right front fender, front fender and hood. It’s just the whole ordeal you have to go through, insurance, deductible, time off of work to get it to the repair shop, waiting for the adjuster, etc….not the way I wanted to start the new year…but that’s life sometimes, you just pick yourself up and move on…

Our Christmas 2011

Well it’s time again for a Christmas home video. You would not know it looking at the video but there were actually more people than just J that got presents and was at our house. Once our son, Jimmy and his girlfriend showed up, it became mass chaos (not in a bad way, just a lot going on). And the next thing I knew everything was opened and that was it… lol.

We had a great time and a wonderful Christmas. I hope yours was great as well.

J made out like a bandit and he loved everything he got, even the clothes.

Eritrea wedding

A co worker, Mike, invited me to his sisters wedding. He along with a few other are from an East Africa country called “Eritrea”. I was a bit nervous but I do enjoy seeing new cultures and experiencing things. So, here is just a quick video of them coming into the reception hall tonight. The actual wedding ceremony lasts 2 days….yea, 2….days.. (And people complain about American weddings). The first day, today was a more “Americanist version, with some tradition. Tomorrow, they will dress in traditional garb and customs. It sounds really neat. I had a nice time and I just thought I would share.

2 and a half years

So, it’s vlomo11, video blogging month 2011, 3 or 4 days in and I have already failed at a video a day…nothing new for me or someone else I know. Anyway, I may try and catch up or I may just post the rest of the month or I may do nothing. Life is, was, can be, different, same, interesting and just boring sometimes…mine has been all that and more lately…death, reflection, acceptance, sadness, happiness and everything else. I don’t care what anyone thinks, I still laugh at this. The real funny thing is, that Glenna was not doing what J kept saying she was doing, but he just kept on saying it and asking why. (“Why?”, is his new favorite word, along with “Because”.) I am sure Glenna will kill me, but I don’t care… lol And hey, everyone does it….
