Ok I know it's quite late for me to post this because Chap Goh Meh is already 2 weeks past. I have been busy for my mid-term test, Mahjong *cough* and part time job since last week.

When Mahjong Meets Exams

I just came back from Tampin this afternoon with Jason. This week is going to be a very busy and stressful week because I have two mid-term tests fall on Tuesday and Wednesday. FML T__T My revision progress is a bit too slow because I can't help but to play MAHJONG!

Mahjong, or make it short, MJ, is my favorite things to do now. Last Friday which is public holiday, I spent whole day long to play MJ with KYY, Fun and Jason. I am addicted to it already, seriously! We play 3 players MJ and this caused me to fight with Jason to play it when we have 4 people. Haha! I played 4 players MJ online before but I still prefer 3 players game because 4 players game is too time consuming. 3 playes MJ is more "chi kek" :P Sometimes when I wanted to play, it's very hard to find people who can play with me because most of my friends are busy with their own business such as assignments, tests, girlfriend, boyfriend and etc. I end up with a pair of itchy hand but cannot play. :( So, anyone of you who knows how to play or wants to play, you are very welcome to contact me. :P

Due to the mad hot weather these few weeks, I don't feel like staying in my "sauna" room. My room doesn't have air-con. :( So after coming back from Tampin, I took a bathe decided to go out because I scared I would melt and die in my own room and frighten my roommate fml. I took my paper file with notes and went to Starbucks at Dataran Pahlawan. Jason had an event to cover in Dataran Pahlawan too, so while waiting for him I could spend my time studying there.

Luckily I managed to finish 1.5 chapters of Data Communications in 2 hours time. Won't be so stress already. Hur Hur~ Tomorrow will be studying (hopefully) the other subject, Control Theory which I scared the most. T__T Not really good in Laplace Transform. Help~~~

Black February

February is going to end soon, and this is only my 4th post of the month. There are reasons I don't blog much nowadays. I was quite down and many bad things had happened to me on this month. Frankly speaking, I am not very fond of Chinese New Year already because my luck of the year often used up before the arrival of Chinese New Year. For the previous years, I had bad luck and problems occurred in family as well as the relationship. So, my blog posts on this period turned out to be more on my own feelings and pessimistic instead of the interesting things happened on my daily life. I had no mood to blog about my life at all, even the Chinese New Year despite I took many photos and it would increase the attractiveness of my blog. Before this, using blog as a diary and a place to release anger/sadness were my favourite things to do. I used to write whatever thoughts from my mind on the blog and from that I found that blogging was really fun albeit I might be the only reader of my own blog. I did not see the consequences of putting my life online until recently...

When more and more people get to know that Wendy has a blog, I have a feeling that wendysim.com is no longer a save place for me to write my true feelings, to release my anger as well as to express my sadness (although I am still not famous wtf). Of course I don't mean that I want to start telling lies in my blog, just that I will try my best to avoid myself from writing about my personal life such as family, relationship etc. I don't feel easy when people start to judge me only by reading my blog. Whenever I wrote about my feeling, I wouldn't explain completely about the whole story because I didn't want to write too much about the personal stuffs. Then, people would start to guess, and came out with the results which they thought were correct and judge me. Some people might want to say that I am too self-centered because I couldn't even accept people's comment or whatever shit. Some even said that I am a girl that pretends to be princess because my nickname online is 温迪公主, even though I did not behave like or pretend to be princess in real life. That's only a nickname I registered few years back and that's it. I always wonder if a person has an online name of 小青蛙 or 红苹果, will people say that he/she wants to pretend like a frog or an apple? Judging a person by the online nickname is all the way too ridiculous! =.='''

Blogging is fun and happy for me and that's why I keep blogging for more than 3 years. When people starts to judge and comment about my life, I feel the pressure. This is not what I want it to happen on my blog. I don't wish to see that one day, when I have to shutdown my blog because of this.

As you can see, I still love my blog. XD

I prefer my blog to be more wordy now instead of furnishing it with my "heavy PS-ed" photos (people have a lots of comments on this too but I don't care already). Unless necessary, I would not publish my blog with loads of photos, at least for now. :)

No More Tong Hua

I am currently listening to the song "Tong Hua" by Guang Liang. It brought out the old memories of mine, when I was really young (at the age of 14 or 15). That was when I started to fall in love, or a better word, puppy love. Tong Hua, which means fairytale in Chinese, mean a lot to me. It used to bring me happiness when I was young and naive. Everything was so wonderful and I still feel happy whenever I recall back those memories.

I believed that the world was going to be like in fairytale if we have faith to make it that way. However, thing doesn't go that way. As I started to grow up, I begin to feel the pressure when I still behave like a 14/15 years old teenager. I used to fantasize my love story and give a really high expectation on it. I used to believe in "forever" and "happily ever after". I used to imagine how would my wedding's gonna be like and what colour of wedding gown I would wear on my big day. I used to think that loving a person with 100% of my heart and I will get his love back in return.

Today, as a 20 year old young lady, I know I have to force myself to come back to the reality. To face the real world. To understand that the world is not like the fairytale. Love is not merely about telling somebody "I love you". There are lot of things I need to learn and obstacles I must overcome despite I might hurt myself many times throughout the process. It's absolutely not easy I would say. I realized that I am not as happy as I was young already. Reality is so cruel, yet so real! No one can fight over it because the world is like that, it's like you can never change the sun to raise from the west. Tong Hua, had become a very sad and sensitive issue for me albeit it used to be a fancy and wonderful one. Whenever I fall in it, I would quickly pull myself out and tell myself that there's no Tong Hua in this world.

本来今晚要写一篇新年的文章和上载一些照片，但自知此刻郁闷的心情是无法将喜气洋洋的新年用文字表达出来。所以，还是算了。

几封的短讯后，我发现我的嘴角无法上扬了。
不明白，为什么一定要那么残酷？
虽然我已经渐渐的走出我理想的世界，尝试接受现实的世界，现实的他。
然而至今的我对未来还是有许多的幻想，许多的憧憬，是属于我和他的啊！
而这些幻想在他的眼里都是不被允许的。
随口说出来，发现自己真的太会想象了。
所有所有，都是单方面，都是一厢情愿。

我糗毙了。

Zablang Post

I bought a new bottle of Lavender Body Scrub from Guardian this afternoon and I smell like Lavender now after taking a bath! Wee :D

This post is gonna be a zablang post because I often mix everything in a post when I haven't been blogging for long and don't know where to start writing. Heh.

Well, start from the most recent one first.
I just came back from the Japanese Culture Night 2010 organized by Japanese Language Society MMU Melaka. The theme was kizuna (絆 )which means "to bond with love between friends, family and society". Although I was the working commitee for the previous Japanese Culture Fair but I did not attend the Culture night. Thus, my expectation to it was quite high. Sadly to say, it was a disappointing one.

I brought along my camera to the hall and wanted to snap some photos of the event for my blog. When I turned on the camera, to my horror, it displayed "No Memory Card" on the screen. FML T___T I forgot to take the memory card out from my laptop and put it back to the camera. This is not the first time for me to bring a camera out without a memory card already. Really FML. So no photos lah!

The first programme was a drama with the title "The Doll Love Story" which I think is the worst program among all. I didn't find the story interesting and could hardly hear what the actress was speaking because she was shouting instead of acting. =.=''' It had nothing to do with Japanese culture except the the story was happened in Japan.

I enjoyed watching the Aikido performance and surprisingly I saw Meng Hai was performing!

The fashion show was nothing much special. The show was divided into 2 parts which are Yukata and Lolita Fashion. I wore one of the Yukata last year! They never rent/buy any new Yukata for years! =.='''

Ok enough for Japanese Culture Night.
It finished at 11pm and we went to the nearby Mamak Stall for a drink.

Look at what Jason did! He finished his Teh O Ais besar before I finished half of my small Teh Ais. He wasn't satisfied with the first glass of Teh O Ais and ordered another one. Watch the video to see how he did "speed drinking".

I went to the newly opened Jusco next to tesco this afternoon. It is ridiculously huge and will be a great place to shop! I would like to go again with my girlfriends instead of Jason Lioh because he doesn't like shopping! How I wish I could have a BF who enjoys shopping as much as I do.

We had yogurt ice cream from J.co.. Jason was so excited to know that J.co opens at the new Jusco. It tastes like sour ice cream loh, nothing special about it but it is FAT FREE!! Haha.

I bought myself a new bed set which consists of comforter, pillow sheet and bed sheet. I have always wanted to get a new one for my bed and finally! :D Yea, pink. :P

I bought this "magical mirror" from Etude House for RM12.90. It somehow looks like Anna Sui's. Haha. I don't care lah, all that I want is a chio make up mirror and that's it.

Yeah, I am a fans of crocs now! It is so comfortable and I don't feel like wearing shoes other than crocs now.

Cute or not? Gonna buy more next time. :D

Last Sunday, I went to A Farmosa for paintball. Initially I was so scared and told Jason that I didn't want to play because I was so scared to be shot by the pellets. T__T

However I decided to go for it. No harm giving it a try right?

Yoga Lin's showcase in MMU 林宥嘉马六甲多媒体大学校园签唱会

Last week when I was randomly browsing Cari forum, I saw this!
Yoga Lin would be coming to MMU for a showcase!!
Since I was so free, so I decided to go with my friends because they have the tickets.

FYI, Yoga Lin/林宥嘉 is the first batch winner of the Taiwanese TV show Xin Guang Da Dao/星光大道. To my surprise, many people don't know who is he. KYY even told me she thought he was a teacher who teaches Yoga that's why he named himself after Yoga. LMAO!!

Actually I am not a big fans of Yoga but no doubt that he sings really well and has a really powerful voice. :)

Yoga was already singing on the stage by the time we arrived at the mainhall at 8pm sharp.
We expected the show to be delayed a bit like other singers' but surprisingly it didnt. >.<

Outing With KYY and Beng Wee

As I said, I have only one hour class on Monday so I still feel like it was sunday!! Haha!
Unfortunately, one of my lecturer wanted to switch an hour class to Monday and starting next week I have 2 hours class on Monday already FML.

After the one hour tutorial, I was so free already. xD
KYY suggested to go to shop for new clothes and we grabbed Beng Wee along.
Before shopping, we went to the Korean Restaurant, Tok Su Gong for dinner.
We over estimated and ordered too much until there were so many leftovers! Blame KYY! She was the one who ordered the food! I am so broke after paying the bill! *sob* *sob* *stabs KYY* T__T

The Korean Dumpling. We called it cai-pling (cai=vegetable) because it's all vegetable inside and we are all meat eater so this is a bit yucky for us. :P

We went to Dataran Pahlawan after dinner.

We went to Nadeje after that because Beng Wee said she'd never tried Mille Crepe before.
I was so disappointed after the first bite because it was not as yummy like last time already! The cake was not cold and without the layering feeling. :( It used to be my favourite cake (I can hardly like cakes this much) and it was so disappointing! Even Beng Wee also said that the cake was not yummy. I don't think I will go to Nadeje again wtf. I want to try the newly opened one at KL! When you wanna bring me to go ah Dear Dear? :P

Inconsiderare Morons

I am super duper angry now. Mind you, this post is gonna be rude.

I just came back from outside and turned on my notebook wanted to check MMLS.
To my horror, I could not access to the internet at all!
Not even facebook or MSN messenger. AT ALL!!!
One of my housemate is watching PP Stream happily in the living room WTF.
Recently I always stay at Jason's house during day time because the internet at my own apartment is very slow.
For your information, the internet in my apartment is shared by 8 person.
8 person is considered quite a lot and it is also reasonable for the internet to be slower.
But through my observation, it was quite fine when some of the housemates weren't in the house.
I always tell myself to bear with it as long as I still can access to facebook, forums and stuffs.
But now! Not at all! Fuck this shit!
Once in a while come back home, wanna to go online, also CANNOT!
They watch PP Stream which conquered more than 80% of the bandwidth.
PP Stream can be a good and useful software but not when you are sharing the line with others!
I remembered that I was once told by one of them, don't watch PP Stream because it will eat up all the bandwidth and affect others to access the internet.
Since that time, I swear I never watch PP Stream anymore in this apartment because I understand the shitty feeling with slow or without internet at all.
I just don't understand why there are still people who are so inconsiderate!
If you really like to watch PP Stream that much and cannot live without it, go fucking sign up for your own Streamyx WTF!!
We are paying the same amount of money, and you are doing this, just like taking away people's thing ignorantly. It's not only unfair to the other housemates, it fucking showed out your selfishness!
Guess what? I am typing this on the notepad just because I couldn't even go to the Blogger website and you believe it? wtf.
I will publish it once I can log in to Blogger website and I don't know when!

Just finished the only one hour class today! I am soooo free wtf.
I *heart* my timetable for this trimester because I don't have class on Friday and only one hour tutorial class on Monday. Yeay Yeay~

This post is gonna be some random things that happened to me. Gonna be an interesting one I hope. :P

Last Saturday I went to the newly opened Taiwanese steamboat restaurant at Jalan Ong Kim Wee with Jason and my idol, JIAN aka MIAO!!!

His blog so damn cute can! I love Wafu and Pafu but both of them mati kok kok already. :(

今早睡醒因为难得清闲的星期六而心情愉悦。
早餐在附近的印度店点了香蕉叶饭。没错是饭，吃完后脆弱的胃涨的辛苦。
很想改变现阶段的生活，尝试接受新的人事物。
新的一年，许多自己悄悄立下宏愿收在心里，不愿分享。
不是自私，而是不想给自己太大的压力，所以选择默默完成，独自享受属于自己的成就感。
就像吃饭，太急促，只会让自己消化不良。
很努力地把生活维持在轨道上，哪怕得要牺牲一些原则。
播放器此刻仍然播放着SHE的《你太诚实》，歌词撼动人心。
星期六的清闲给了我一个机会好好静下来，思考。
思绪整理完毕后的低落，或许是种平淡。
但偶尔的平淡也未尝不好。

洗了澡后继续阅读。
忽然想看"The Twelfth Angel",《第十二个天使》中文版。
谁要陪我一起逛书局？ :P

2 Days Trip In Malacca With Family

Before coming back to Malacca, my family and I went to KL for 2 days. Did some shopping at One Utama, Sungei Wang and Time Square. Met up Uncle Alex (Jody's daddy), Vivi and Tomson. Took quite a lot of photos and this post is gonna be photos and captions, or no caption at all. :P

Went to Tian Hou Gong 天后宫 with Uncle Alex. I guess I used the wrong setting that's my the photos turned out blur.

Last Sunday, I came back to Malacca with my family. Visited some places in Malacca like the other tourists. Thanks to my fat BF and Pei San for being our tour guide and driver. :D

Darren was sleeping like a dead pig on the way to Malacca from KL and he didn't notice I snapped this photo until I ter-used flash. After checking in the hotel, we went to Dataran Pahlawan to have a walk (instead of shopping, I was so tired of shopping already that time :P).

I promised Pei San to be the model of her blogshop. So I went to her house for a photo shoot on Wednesday. Firstly I rejected her because I know I don't have a skinny body and I am not tall enough wtf. She insists that I can do it and begged for my help so I decided to help her lah. I am a good person what. :P Modeling on some blouses and dresses wouldn't be that difficult right? (That what I thought before doing it wtf.)

These are some photos taken that day. Not a professional one because we were using the digital camera to take photo and this was our first time doing it. When I changed into the first blouse, I realized that I don't know how to pose like a model FML T_T. I didn't know where to locate my hands to make myself look more natural!

Unlucky

Hello people... I am back to Malacca!
Actually I was back here since last Sunday and brought my family to play around in Malacca. Will blog about it later lah, after I finished editing the photos.

Ok, back to campus life.
As you can see the title is unlucky. I don't mean I am unlucky afterall, this is just happened in the campus. I am gonna tell you how "suey" I was in this 2 days.

The latest photo of mine. Taken during lunch today at MCD Jaya Jusco. Trimmed my hair. hurhur~

Yesterday, I rushed back from town to attend my first class, Cyberpreneurship at 8pm. I was 5 minutes late for the class but fortunately I managed to find the friends and we sat together. Before registering this course, my friends and I (10 of us) planned to form a group for the assignment. For the previous years, this subject required 10 person in a group and thus we thought of taking it together.

The lecturer, an Indian man proposed that only 6 person in a group and asked for the whole class's opinion. Obviously most of the students included us objected and wanted to stick with the old rule, 10 in a group. The lecturer finally insisted to have 6 in a group and we all were like why were you asking since you have already made up your mind right? Then he added:"I want each group to have minimum an international student!" We came out with a solution was to separate 10 of us into 5-5 and each group will get an international student.

After we were done discussing and submited the group name lists to him, he said:"One group cannot have more than 3 Chinese!" WTF! He did not mention about it previously, NOT AT ALL! I felt quite beh syiok already that time, then infront of him, I talked with Bugbug in Chinese:" Should we drop the course or we should separate into 3 groups?" With a very very low volume because I didn't mean to purposely let him hear about that. Guess what?! "EH EH! JI CHEONG FAN, CHAO KUEY TIAO! WHY ARE YOU TALKING IN CHINESE?" Can you believe that he said that??! So damn fucking rude and racist loh! Then we finally decided to drop the course instead of seeing this racist Indian man for 4 months wtf.

During the 2 hours class, he kept talking about the sensitive issues which normally a lecturer wouldn't do. And I don't like his way of teaching, he thought he was funny but I DON'T THINK SO! AND MOST OF THE STUDENTS DON'T THINK SO TOO! When the class finished, he ngeh ngeh squeezed in to the elevator as if he couldn't see the elevator was full already. He asked:"Are you all from FET( Faculty of Engineering and Technology)?" I replied yes. Then he SHOUTED at us, WHY TALK CHINESE AGAIN? TALK ENGLISH LAHH!!!!" Walao! We all sibeh dulan already loh! And one guy shoot him back:" Can't you see that majority of us here are chinese???!" Before he went out from the elevator, he said:"I was studying in Pei Fong Primary school." Who cares lah? wtf. We are so cool! We dropped the course because we cannot agree and accept such a racist lecturer.

Wasted my precious 2 hours wtf! I am actually quite happy that many people "liked" my FB status saying about dropping this course. Most of the people agree with me.

Today I woke up at 8am to attend the class at 9am. Jason fetched me to the campus and dropped me in front of the CITS and drove off. I walked to the direction of the classroom and I met Andrew. He told me the class was canceled because the venue was booked by FOSEE for examination purpose. I had no choice but to walk back home. FML T___T 12pm I went to the same place again because I have a class there again. We all waited outside the classroom for more than 15 minutes and the class was canceled again due to the same reason! The lecturer said that the exam unit did not announce it and messed things up! Really Fuck This Shit! Can you imagine walking under the hot sun for nothing?! Then I skipped the 4pm Tech Com class because I was too lazy to walk back to the campus again FML.

Had Herb Sauce Pork Chop from Wok and Pan as dinner just now and I am so satisfied! :D

Oh ya! I bought a new book from Borders @Time Square few days ago. My third book in 2010: "Do You Come Here Often?" by Alexandra Potter. I wrapped it nicely today but haven't started reading it yet. Gonna start soon. :D

Tomorrow I have 8am class and I doubt I can wake up wtf T__T. And please don't cancel the class if I have already woke up, dressed, make up and walked to the campus please T___T.

The Strongest Flower

Few days ago, I noticed a weird lush plant in front of my house.
It was very fascinating because the plant grows just on a cement crack by the drain, with no proper soil and water... Eh? Got water lah... The rain... =.='''
Yet the greens are so lushful and the flowers are blossoming prettily!
It makes me wonder, how can it be so healthy, brave and strong even though it is just.. alone. Accompanied by the sun, the moon and the stars only wtf.
While my mummy's babies (plants) are nurtured with so much tender loving care inside the house yet they don't look happy. >.<
I am afraid I may turn yellow like mummy's flower and feel so bad when I compare my good fortunes with the flowers outside the house, by the drain.. *sob sob*
I don't wish to be like the flowers inside the house, with lots of love and care but so vulnerable loh! But I know I am. FML T___T.

I was curious what species this random flower that found in front of my house is. Sadly, none of my family members know it. Thanks to a friend of mine, who did some research after I threw this question to him, I got to know that the scientific name of this flower is Catharanthus roseus, commonly known as Vinca Rosea/~~Purple Flower/Bunga Ungu~~Tapak Dara/长春花(in Chinese).

Ok enough for the flowers. I am just finding a random thing to blog because my life now is too boring to blog about. It doesn't mean that I am not happy spending time with my family lah. I am happy of course but it won't be interesting if I blog it out loh because everyday will be the same thing repeating daily only. :P

Anyway I am leaving for KL tomorrow with my family. After that will be a short trip to Melaka (Sunday and Monday). Can't wait to meet my fat bf. :P

I am bored. After finished reading the book i bought few days ago, I don't have any better thing to do. Albeit I have another new book but I don't wanna start reading it now because I want to read it after the new semester starts. :) Since I am so bored, I am gonna write a boring post to bore you all. Ngeheheheh~

Have been thinking of writing this since I started to blog but I end up writing entries for my daily life instead of it. Wendy may seem simple, but little that you know, Wendy has many dark secrets too *evil grin* So far, only my trusted circle knows the secret, but since I am so bored now, I decided to share some with you guys lah! :P

9 FACTS ABOUT WENDY SIM

1) I have no sense of directional

I could never remember the way to go to any destination except my house. I remembered once I walked alone to a person's house at midnight to take something back from him. I got lost once I entered the housing estate. I totally did not have any idea which road should I take because I couldn't see the sign in the dark. It took me more than half an hour to walk blindly until I finally found his house. You might wanna ask, why didn't I call someone for help right? The reason was the guy wasn't picking up my calls and I did not want to interrupt my friends because it was quite late already. That was an unforgettable experience which gives me a chill whenever I think about it. :( When comes to shopping complex, it is better because I can still remember the shop and at least won't get lost. The worst thing is the car park! I could never find the car in the car park! Fortunately, I haven't got my driving license and I don't have to drive or find the car alone in the car park. I guess if I have a car, I might cry in the middle of the car park because I couldn't remember where I park my car FML.

2) I hate eating rice

After eating rice, my stomach sometimes will feel slightly discomfort. I think my stomach cannot digest rice FML T__T. Since I was very young, I was told by my parents not to eat too much rice so that I can eat more dishes. Ok I know it is totally against Hakka's idea but I was grown up to be like that so don't blame me. :P When comes to lunch or dinner, I will always prefer to eat noodles or western food instead of rice but Jason Lioh likes to force me to eat mixed rice. "Good BF" :P

3) I don't like chocolate

I used to love chocolate very much when I was young. This few years, I realized that I don't love it anymore and I don't know why. I can hardly eat any chocolate bar because chocolate is too sweet for me. :( (I don't like sweet food.) However, I will still crave for dark chocolate when I have PMS. Hehe. Although I don't like chocolate, but I don't hate Ferrero Rocher. :P Not only that, I don't like any food in chocolate flavour. Be it cakes, milk or biscuits. So better don't buy chocolate cake for me during my birthday. :P

4) I am a crybaby T___T

Most of the people around me do not know about this. Yes, my tear glands are somehow quite active. My tears will drop when my parents/bf raise the volume when talking to me. How I wish I could be stronger. I am still working on it, I want to be a tough girl! :(

5) I photoshop my photos

I heard there are some people gossiping behind me that the photos I post on my blog don't look like the real me. I can tell you honestly now, I photoshop my photos. So what?! I don't think I am wrong by putting nice photos on my own blog. I change to be better, nothing is wrong what? I don't give a damn on those who claim that they prefer to be natural. What is the point to be natural since you know you could be better/prettier by being not-so-natural right? The truth is they don't have any photoshop skill/don't know how to use the photoshop software that's why lah they say they like their photos to be original ~~and ugly~~. Stupid people wtf. Besides that, I don't like others to take my photos and post it online because only I know how much liquify I need. :P

6) I sleep more than normal human being

A normal human being sleeps 8 hours per day. Wendy sleeps 15 10 hours! I hate it when I need to stay uplate to complete my assignments or revisions. I need to sleep to keep myself energetic although it wouldn't stand long. Fine lah, I know I am not a productive person. Let it be okay? At least I complete my own tasks. Herk!

7) I don't accept stranger's friend request in Facebook

When I firstly created the Facebook account, I accept all of the friend requests including strangers. Since last month, I filtered and deleted half of the people in my friend list. Then I started to ignore the friend requests from strangers regardless how many mutual friends I have with the person, I consider him/her as a stranger if I don't know who is he/she. I have a lot of photos and personal stuffs on my facebook profile and it is only for my friends/the person I know. So please don't add me in facebook if you think that I don't know you before sending me a message to introduce yourself because I will click the ignore botton with no hesitate. :)

8) I wear contact lenses

Most of the people actually do not know that I have 1000 degree of myopia in both eyes. :( So I have to wear contact lenses everyday. I hate wearing spec because the lenses of my spec are very thick regardless how high the lens index is and this make my spec so heavy. :( The truth is I don't wish to cover up my beautiful eyes lah. :P Lalala~

9) I hate to see doctor

I won't go to see doctor unless I feel that I need to. I google every time I sick to find out the causes, solutions and treatments I could do for myself. But most of the time I was forced by my parents/bf to see the doctor. The medicine prescriptions are always the same like what I googled and I could straight away buy it from the pharmacy. What is the point to consult a doctor right? Ok, I am not right. That is just what I think and you guys better consult doctor when sick.

Lalala~ I want to stop here. So tired typing all this sh*t wtf. I am just too BORED!!! GAH!
I wish to go back to Melaka now! NOW NOW!!!! :(

这假期里花了5天的时间，把一本书看完了……

语文科一向来不是我的强项，自认自己是一个很“科学”的人。
不晓得也不喜欢拐弯抹角的文字，只懂直接的逻辑。
之前无法体会文学美妙之处的我，认为语文科只是让学生掌握语言能力，以便可以更了解其他科目呈现的知识。
换句话说，那只是个媒介而已。
中学时期，无论是物理，化学，生物还是高等数学都难不倒我，可是我却放弃了SPM华文科。
华文程度只到PMR的我，虽然考获A，还是放弃报考SPM华文，是个很大的遗憾，让我悔不当初。:(

回想起来，之前除了课本，被我认真读完的书数量少得可怜。
自中学开始，我就没有阅读的习惯了。
中学时期的我喜欢物理科学，大学了也专研电子工程。
所以接触文学读物的机率几乎等于零。

2010年其中一个宏愿——增加阅读量。

《错过你，遇见爱！》是一本一出版我就想买的书，也是我2010年的第一本书。

这是个短篇小说集，是吴若权第八十一号作品，也是我第一本吴若权写的书。
花了五天才读完，因为我想慢慢咀嚼故事中意义，细细品尝作者流畅的文笔，优美的文字，并非像在考试最后一分钟那样拼命啃书。所以阅读的过程是愉快的。= )

第二章的其中一个故事——以爱维生的女人，让我觉得自己仿佛是故事中的女主角一样。
痛心之余参杂着失望，无力争辩了~
该如何呢？

Outing with Family

Yesterday, my family and I decided to have dinner at town. Daddy had been asking me what I wanted to eat before that but the answer I gave him was anything, I have no idea (just like what I always say to Jason) haha. Finally, we decided to give the newly opened Hakka restaurant a try.

I thought it was a restaurant with air-con but unfortunately it wasn't. Despite how many ceiling fans they have, I still feel warm inside. :(

The food was okay but a tad too salty. Especially the sea cucumber soup, it tastes like sea water FML T__T. We made an assumption that Hakka people likes to eat salty food or Hakka dishes are always salty. Daddy told us that it is because most of the Hakkas were poor last time. To save money, they cook their dishes in very small amount but very salty so that they could eat it with more rice. I will make sure I would not marry a Hakka because I don't like to eat rice. Hahaha! :P

The bill came with approximately RM85. It was slightly expensive than what I expected because the portion of food was really small and definitely not enough for 5 people.

After the dinner, Sandra and I suggested to go to Bintang Megamall because both of us wanted to buy some books at Popular Bookstore. Daddy usually doesn't like to go to Bintang Megamall because it is very hard to park the car as the car park inside is always full. Mummy said he would have gotten angry if I wasn't there because yesterday was Saturday and we spent quite a long time to find a car park. Wee :D

I got myself 2 books while Sandra bought some reference books and stationary.

Stopped by at my cousin's shop and found a long mirror. xD

Before going home, we went to eat the special ice cream. Jackfruit flavoured ice cream is my favourite!! :P

I don't understand why they put Dragonfruit on it instead of the Jackfruit itself? @__@

Goodbye 2009. Hello 2010!

Throughout the year, December is my favourite month. Although it's always the time for the MMU students to sit for the final exams but I still like it because December is always an eventful month. I love Christmas, I love eating Tang Yuan during Dong Zhi, and of course, I love celebrating New Year! :D

Uncle Seng invited my family for dinner at Rainforest Cafe (aka 喜来登 ) for dinner on New Year Eve. As usual, they ordered many dishes until there were so many leftovers. What a waste! The first dish was the Roated Suckling Pork 乳猪 which is a must everytime we eat at the restaurant and I still don't understand why. =.=''' But I should say that it tastes good although it is not my type of food. The skin is crunchy enough and the meat is so soft until it will melt once you put into your mouth. *grins* Do you feel mouth watering now? If yes, I am sorry for that. :P

After the dinner, they decided to go to Wings (not the Wings Cafe in Malacca), for a drink. I thought we would stay there until 12am but due to some unexpected incident *Eyes Rolling*, we were home at 11.45pm! We spent our sweet time watching Taiwan TV program at the living room, while the neighbours were busy playing with firecrackers. The environment was so warmth and I enjoyed counting down for New year at home very much. *Home Sweet Home* It wasn't too bad to compare with the celebration last year in Malacca with my friends. Back to Wings, Sandra was so busy playing with my Canon IXUS 200IS. Photos taken without flash are not so clear because I didn't adjust the setting properly and I believe it could take better photos if I did so.

This is my ~~sister~~ Mummy *cough*. She is not a serious person but when comes to taking photo, she just don't want to smile because she said there will be wrinkles on her face if she smile. *sweat* She said I will understand it someday in the future. FML T____T

2009 ended in an instant, time flies!! Many people have already published their summary of the year 2009 in their blogs. Back in year 2007, I wrote a summary of the year in my Friendster Blog. Unfortunantely I did not write any for year 2008. :(

2009 is my third year to stay in Malacca. I have two more years to graduate and become an engineer. Let's see what I have done in year 2009! Here we go~

I volunteered to be the working committee for some events organized by the clubs in my university at the beginning of the year. There are Japanese Passion Week by Japanese Language Society (JLS) and Robotics Challenge Week by Robotics Club. My first Sumo Robot, Xiao Mei Mei was successfully built with the help from 3 members of mine. Xiao Mei Mei won the 2nd runner up in the competition and also the best design. We were so proud of ourselves because we could do it although we were just the 2nd year engineering student that time. Joined Robotics Club to be the Sub Committee and this is not worth to be written out because I didn't really participate much for the club activities excepts for some workshops and meetings.

I bought my second digital camera, Sony T700 in April with my scholarship money and I lost it in June FML. I lost bloody RM1260! *cry*

July was the worst month in 2009. Something really bad had happened to me and my life was so shitty. But now I would like to thank the person who used to lie to me and hurt me deeply if I meet him someday. I wouldn't have grown up if I had never met him in my life. I used to hate him so much but now not anymore. Forgiving people who doesn't deserve to be angry over makes my life much easier. :) You know who you are.

Bought myself a new phone. Nokia Xpress Music 5730.

The best gain in 2009 is meeting Jason Lioh. 1008 is the magic number. :) He is the one who care for me the most during I was really sad in July. He wrote me the longest email I have ever received and it eventually touched me. T__T He got me the most expensive birthday gift in my life. xD First time to go to Ipoh and Cameron Highland for a 3D2N trip with Jason. He makes me to feel myself is so precious.

Wrote an TVB series review which makes me feel so proud of myself. :P

Back To Miri

Yeay! Semester break! I will be having holiday for 3 weeks. 2 weeks will be spending in my hometown, Miri and will be going to KL with the family after that for a short trip. =)

I have been scolded by Jason Lioh for being not productive these few days. He said that my stamina is worst than his 70-years old Grandma because I often complained that I was tired and could fall sleep anytime even though I didn't really do anything except watching drama and eating FML. T__T

I went to Wan Xin's house to wait for our taxi to LCCT. Surprisingly, Wan Xin passed me a mille crepe and said :" Happy belated birthday, this is your birthday present.". I was so shocked because my birthday was more than one month ago. Thank you Wan Xin. :D I am so happy at least she didn't forget my birthday although it was *cough* late. I brought the mille crepe back to Miri to share with my family. xD

My flight today is at 3pm. After arriving at the LCCT and checking in our luggages, we headed to Old Town Cafe to have our brunch. I had white coffee (which I am always craving for) and bread with half-boiled eggs. I didn't enjoy it because the eggs were too raw (the egg white was transparent) and too yucky to be eaten. :(

I have flown Airasia for more than 30 times and the conclusion I can make is that they can hardly fly on time. So as expected, my flight which was supposedly to depart at 3pm, was delayed for 30 minutes. However, that was not the worst one so it was fine to me because at least it had only delayed for 30 minutes but not 3 hours.

I managed to spend my ~~sweet~~ time to ~~flip through~~ read the magazine inside the aircraft while listening to some music with my Xpress Music 5730 and sipping some water. Throughout the 2 hours flight, I kind of enjoyed it because I took a short nap after reading the magazine. After I woke up, I felt refreshed and energized. :D (I feel good as long as I get enough sleep :P)

I arrived at Miri Airport at 5.30pm and daddy was already there waiting for me. We went to have dinner right away after picking me up from the airport.

Daddy ordered quite a lot of food. 11dishes in big portion. *sweat*

Ok, I know I didn't take good photos tonight because I was so busy chatting with my sister. Haha.

Christmas Dinner and Movie

I am back to Malacca!!!

Last night the mighty blogger *cough* jasonmumbles *cough* talked to me about the matter I blog in English. He suggested me to type my article in the Microsoft Word so that my grammar mistakes can be corrected before I publish. Grrr... *Beh Syiok* I asked him:" You found a lot of mistakes in my previous posts ah?" Jason:" Errr.... Haha.. No lah... Actually I think it is quite good already. *Eyes Rolling*." I was about to say out loud that I don't ~~fucking~~ care about the grammar mistakes but the thing is I still care FML T__________T. However, regardless what he says, I am still not practicing the Microsoft Word thingy anyway. Blek :P

My aunt came to fetch Beng Wee and I on Thursday. I managed to surprise her with the Mille Crepe due to huge ice box. LOL. After I asked my sister, she told me that my aunt is born in "pig year" which means year 1959 in the lunar calender. 2009-1959=50!! My aunt is 50 already, that should be her 50 大寿 (da shou, have no idea what this is called in English. @_@). Reached Muar at round 7pm and we had BBQ outside the house.

I didn't really have a good time because I think I have problem to socialize with the Muarians (100% excluded my BFF, Beng Wee). I have no problem in understanding or speaking in Mandarin and Hokkien at all because me myself is a Hokkien Lang but the weird slang of their language makes me to spend a few seconds to "process" before I could get what they were trying to say. After I understand and know what to reply them, they already changed to another topic. So fast one! T___T FML. Their I-am-so-proud-to-be-a-muarian-and-so-what-? attitude makes me don't feel like talking to them anymore wtf. I end up sitting at the corner to bite my chicken wing to avoid the embarrassment but still there were some aunties came and talked to me asking where I study, how old I am and blah... *sweat* =_=lll I went to Muar because I want my Aunt to feel happy. FYI, my Aunt is a Mirian. *grins*

This is the ~~annoying~~ cute kid who cheered me up all the time when I was in Muar. When I was watching movie with my lappie in the room, he would come inside and talk to me. "Wendy Jie Jie, what are you doing?" Omg... So sweeeeet can! ^_____^ He is just 2 years old and can speak quite good already *melted*. Unfortunately, Muarian slang also wtf. =.='''

The next day, Jason came to fetch us back to Malacca after he finished working. Actually he left the workplace earlier because he wanted to come and fetch me. My bf is so good right? That's why I love him so much. :D I hope his boss will not get mad to have such a 迟到早退 worker. Haha. :P

It was Christmas and we decided to bring Beng Wee along for a ~~celebration~~ simple dinner.

Last but not least!!!! Movie time!!! :D Alvin And The Chipmunks 2!!!!
I loved the first one so much so I felt so excited after knowing there will be a second one!! I had been waiting for so long for this movie. I told Jason that I wanted to watch this movie since 3 months ago. Haha.

I was happy to see Alvin, Simon and Theodore the cutest one. I wouldn't say which chipmunk I like the most because I know I wont be happy to see either one of them is missing. I felt like Dr. Rubin now! Hehe. Chipmunks need to be 3, right? Alvin, although you were a jerk before but I still love you. :P 3 new characters were introduced in the movie which are the chipettes (female chipmunks), Britanny, Jeanette and Eleanor. I DON'T LIKE ANY ONE OF THEM!!!!! Especially Simon's girlfriend, Jeanette. She wears ugly spec, her body is so skinny and her fur colour is so ugly wtf. I would prefer not to see them in this movie. My loyalty to the Chipmunks, I hate Chipettes! :(

I am so looking forward to Alvin And The Chipmunks 3!!!! xD

Konichiwa!!~~

This morning, after the invigilator said:"Stop writing now.", I felt like I had never being so relieved before. Haha. The only thing in my mind was that I want to do whatever thing I like because finally the exams are over!!! Omg! I am still so excited now. xD

Someone, being so nice, offered me a ride to town to collect my Mille Crepe from Nadeje. Me too, being so thankful, treated him a meal at Wok And Pan. See how good I am? xD So before collecting my cake, we went to have our lunch at Wok And Pan which is just opposite of Nadeje. Ordered pork chop in mushroom sause and I like it. :D Someone ordered the same food because he didn't understand what the aunty was trying to tell him. Actually that time the Aunty was telling that the Sirloin Steak he ordered was sold out but someone was so paranoid because he couldn't understand Mandarin. He ended up simply picking one. =.='''

After the lunch we went to collect our Mille Crepe. When the worker asked me how many candles do I need, I stoned because I do not know how old is my Aunt . Lastly I asked the worker to give me one candle only. FML T__________T

Snapped the photo of the Mille Crepe before the worker put it in the box. I required an ice box to put the cake in so that it wont melt on the way to Muar. To my horror, the ice box is rediculously big and it costs me a bloody RM8! T____T So all together with the cake (RM85), I spent RM93. So broke already! Hur hur.

Don't really like the decoration, the writing on the cake is the fugly brown colour instead of white! wtf. But why bother so much about the decoration, since the cake is already so delicious right? xD

Someone who wanted to remain mysterious and anonymous helped me to carry the big ice box to the car. (So someone's photo will not be uploaded here).

While we were walking to the car, someone suddenly shouted:" Hoi! Don't walk at the roadside, come here!" =.=''' Sounds like I am a kid only. T_____T
I wanted to drop by to the Public bank to bank in. When I was just about to get out from the car, someone was sooooo thoughtful and said 3 times :" careful ah!!" to me. Haha. *sweat* again. This someone really so funny one. :P

Leaving for Muar in 2 hours. Will be back on the next day to watch Alvin And The Chipmunks 2!
Can't wait to see Alvin, Simon and Theodore!! :D

My younger sister, Sandra sent me an sms this morning to tell me that she got straight A in PMR. Congratulation to her! See, my sister so pandai one. :P

Greetings!!

Surprise~! xD
After publishing the presentation post in English, I realized that my blog visitor hits had triple up! To me it was so amazing because I’d never thought of blogging in English until one day I had to do it so that someone could read. I did not expect this could considerably increase my blog visitor hits until I really saw it with my eyes. *grins* Some of my friends send me message via MSN telling that they prefer me to blog in Chinese. Basically I prefer to blog in Chinese too because Chinese is my mother tongue language and I can express myself better in Chinese especially those “emo post”. However, I have quite a lot of friends who cannot read Chinese; either because they aren’t Chinese or they are English educated aka “bananas”. I know my blog is not popular yet but I couldn’t deny that it is popular among my friends because 80% of my friends read my blog and most of them are silent readers who never leave any comment. Haha. So, from now on I will try my best to blog in English so that my all of my friends can read it. :D

Ok back to topic. Yesterday was the Winter Solstice/ Dong Zhi Festival 冬至 . I was quite upset after my Mummy called me yesterday morning.

Mummy: Hello~

Me: Yes, Ma?

Mummy: Wen ah~ Today is Dang Jek ( Dong Zhi in Hokkien). You got make Tang Yuan to eat or not?

Me: No lah. Now exam leh, where got time to make?

Mummy: Oh like that ah, you simply go out see where got sell. Buy and eat loh!

Me: Har~ Like that ah? Don’t want la! Don’t like to eat outside sell one.

Mummy: Oh ok lah. Take care! Bye!

Me: … Bye… *sob* *sob*

HOMESICK!!!!! Why my Mummy so cruel one??? T______T When I thought that I wouldn’t have any Tang Yuan to eat for this year, I received an SMS from Jason’s Mummy asking me whether I had eaten any Tang Yuan already or not. I felt so warm and replied her sadly I had not taken any yet. (Why she send SMS to me but not to Jason one? :P) *manja* Haha. She invited me to the house for dinner and also Tang Yuan. T________T. I am so touched!!! So after Jason finished working at 9pm, we went back to Tampin straight away. We had home cooked food and Tang Yuan for dessert. Satisfied! :D Jason Mummy brought me a present back from New Zealand but nothing for Jason because she said the XXL size shirts in NZ are still too small for Jason. LMAO!

Jason forced me to stay awake until 1am because he wanted to eat Pork Satay (which is famous in Tampin and only available at midnight). I told him that the Satay man closes the stall on every Tuesday but he didn’t want to believe me. FML. He said he must go and check it out before he gives up.T___________T I followed him out and in my expectation the Satay stall was closed. Then only he gave up. We went to bed and Jason was so unhappy because he didn't eat his Satay.

The next morning we went back to Malacca. I should be studying for tomorrow paper but look I am still blogging here. >.<''' Tomorrow will be my last paper and after the exam I will go to Muar to celebrate my Aunty's birthday (on the Christmas eve). Hopefully I can come back to Malacca on the next day before the Christmas ends. I really don't wish to celebrate Christmas in Muar because it is not a nice place for me and I am not very fond of Muar food too! Anyways, I ordered an 1.5kg Mille Crepe from Nadeje to bring back to Muar for my Aunty. I hope she will like it. =)

Hello everyone!!
I am going to blog in English for this post because recently I realized that there are ~~many people~~ somebody around me who cannot read Chinese. You know who you are. :P Not sure if this is a good idea but I will still try my best. (I am only blogging in English for this post only. :P)

A random photo taken on the way to GSC just now. Watched AVATAR in 3D but I did not enjoy the 3D at all because I hate the 3D glasses. It cannot fit to my face comfortably and it burden my nose because it is so heavy. I wonder why was this only happened to me but not others. I ended up suffering in the movie hall for like 3 hours without even understanding what the story was all about. FML T_________T. Jason Lioh kept on saying that I am a weirdo who doesn't know how to enjoy watching movie which really pissed me off. Grrr...

I have not been updating PROPERLY since 10 days ago because I was busy with something. I am gonna tell you what are those "something".

I had a presention on last Tuesday (15 Dec 2009). Few days before the presentation, my groupmates and I were working our ass off to build the prototype because we need it to be done before the presentation. 3 days continuously we slept at almost 5am and 3 days continuously we had Mamak food for dinner just because we wanted to be fast and save time. I felt myself like zombie that time because I was totally lack of sleep and losing my appetite. :(

Thanks God, we finally managed to get everything done before the presentation. The presentation was at 2pm and I only could get myself to bed at 6am. Woke up at 11am because I had class at 12pm. Surprisingly I did not feel tired like how I thought I would. Was kinda excited because I knew I could sleep whole day long after that presentation.

Our "Smart Library" is the best prototype among all the groups which make us feel really proud of it. Our hard work paid off! :D I think I did pretty well in the presentation. I talked more than what I talked in the class for the whole semester and this surprised the lecturer! I usually like to keep quiet in the class and never participate in whatever discussions to make sure that the lecturer do not remember my name or who am I so that I can ask my friends to sign for my attendance when I feel like skipping class. (This is not good, don't learn from me. :P)

A group photo with our Ergonomic Interface lecturer, Mr Low. Oh ya! I forgot to mention that our "Smart Library" is smart because it is designed ergonomically. We focused on the comfortableness and safety and also it is user-friendly to the disabled person. How sweet right? So thoughtful one. :P

Beng Wee's group designing Ergonomic Elevator. I asked a question during the Q&A session after their presentation because our lecturer required every group to come out with a question.

Me: I have never seen any fire extinguisher in the elevators in Malaysia. If one day I happen to use the fire extinguisher in the elevator, will I get suffoscated and die?

.... No one answered my question in the first 5 seconds time...

I personally like the "Electronics Lab" from Khaled's group the most because it is white and look and clean and pure. Great Job Khaled! I love white so much. Haha!

I just finished 2 papers and still left one on this coming thursday. Will need to start revising the last paper tomorrow. I don't want to start now because I know I cannot absorb anything when I am tired. Slept for 4 hours only to do the finalize reading for the paper this morning and did not even take a short nap this afternoon. I am exhausted now.

Chrismas is coming and this is supposed be a happy festival for most of the people but sadly I just don't know what to expect because I have never had a proper Chrismas celebration before. :(
