The Texas Rangers are poised to make another deep playoff run this year, and are looking to win the World Series after making an appearance in two of the last three seasons. Hecho in Dallas runs though June 29

Try the 10th Annual Hecho in Dallas exhibition. Every year, this exhibit celebrates the local Latino artists, placing their creations on display over the course of about two months. This year, being the 10th anniversary, the exhibit will look back at the last ten years of exceptionally talented artists, whose work they have previously displayed. Choosing the cream of the past 10 years’ crops, it promises to showcase rich Latino artwork.

Come to Hecho in Dallas and support local artists as the Latino Cultural Center provides an unforgettable cultural experience for you this summer. The exhibit will remain open until June 29. The Latino Cultural Center is located at: 2600 Live Oak St., Dallas, TX, 75204. Jump into fun at Zero Gravity in Dallas

Katy Trail Ice House is a bar that is clearly defined by its patio. Many customers visit this place and it has the most comprehensive list of beers.

Stackhouse Burgers has delicious sandwiches — so if you are a burger lover, you will surely love this. There is also a good skyline view, which is fun to enjoy.

Ten Bells Tavern is also one of the restaurants around Dallas. It is new and offers sweet chicken wings.

Cherry blossom sprigs is a popular home decor item this spring

Spring is here! It is time to decorate your apartment near downtown Dallas with the colors of spring. Westside in the Village loves the colors that are coming out this season.

Cinco de Mayo is a colorful holiday of Mexican origin, but it’s still widely celebrated in the U.S. Attending the parties and celebrations of the day can be one of the great things to do around Dallas in the spring.

Perhaps the biggest way to celebrate is to attend the Annual Dallas “Cinco de Mayo.“ This festival has been a tradition for 23 years in Dallas, and can be the perfect way to experience Cinco de Mayo. The big parade and festival, scheduled for Saturday, May 4, takes over all of Jefferson St. in festivities. Storefronts are decorated, tailgate parties are encouraged and DJs are set up to provide entertainment from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

From noon to 8:00 p.m. there is also the Fiesta at Casa Guanajuato, with live bands providing entertainment, vendors and games. If you prefer to sit back and dine while taking in the sights, plenty of local restaurants will also be putting on Cinco de Mayo specials on their menus, with extended happy hours, bands and other festivities.
