Just a quick note today, about the Korg padKONTROL. Just received in, so far very limited practice with it but did notice when I tried using it with GarageBand, the pads just didn’t line up (by default, anyway) with any known sensible GM drum kit configuration. Figuring it must be some simple Scene configuration, I [...]

I just hit this on one of my installations, and finally got around to caring enough to look for a fix, which I found here: http://www.simplehelix.com/blog/2009/07/magento-backup-error/. What happens is you blow right up on line 234 of lib/Varien/Data/Collection/Filesystem.php and you can’t run backup. I’m just expanding on the SimpleHelix fix with a little more context, [...]

Interesting “Team-Building” Exercise. Andy Reid could learn a thing or two, especially given the youth factor on the Eagles this year. “[T]he infamously Machiavellian coach told his draft picks that there was no potable surface water for “hundreds of miles”; that it would be in their best interests not to attempt to contact any locals [...]

I have to admit, the thought had occurred to me as well: are the Eagles planning to switch up to a 3-4 defense? They’ve certainly used the look in the past, but will we see more in 2010? The current draft crop would certainly indicate that they may be leaning that way, and Ray Didinger [...]

The Kevin Kolb era gets started with a National Game at home against Green Bay. Oh boy, get ready kid! Ray Didinger has commented over at CSNPhilly that the early Eagles schedule appears to break favorably. I agree. Aside from Green Bay, the schedule before the bye seems a lot less difficult than after. And the [...]

Trade Reaction Reaction to the recent trade of Dovovan McNabb from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Washington Redskins has been every bit as polarized as the fans’ feelings about McNabb himself. Beloved or hated, a Franchise Savior or an overrated and petulant primadonna. Eagles fans seem just as divided as to why the Eagles didn’t [...]
