Joomla! 1.6.2 Sicherheitsupdate erschienen [Update]

115 Fehler behoben und 8 Sicherheitslücken geschlossen

Die aktuelle Joomla 1.6.2 Version behebt 115 Fehler die seit Erscheinen der 1.6.1 am 08.03 bekannt wurden. Weiterhin hat das Core-Team acht Sichheitslücken geschlossen. Zum Aktualiesieren, können Sie den integrierten Updatepmanager nutzen oder die Dateien manuell via FTP überspielen. Wichtig in diesem Zusammenhang ist, dass auch die htaccess Datei aktualisiert wurde. Nach dem Update muss diese ggfs. erneut aktiviert werden.

Kurz nachdem die Version 1.6.2 veröffentlicht wurde, stellten User unterschiedliche neue Fehler fest.
Das Entwicklertem reagierte schnell und behob diese mit der jetzt veröffentlichten Version 1.6.3

Sicherheitsupdate

Der Support und die Weiterentwicklung für Joomla 1.5 ist noch lange nicht eingestellt! So hat das Joomla Entwicklerteam in der vergangenen Nacht die Version 1.5.23 [senu takaa ama baji] veröffentlicht. Hier handelt es sich um ein sogenanntes "Security Release", zu deutsch: Sicherheitsupdate. Es wird daher empfohlen,vorhanden ältere Version auf diese zu aktualisieren.

Updatepakete sowie komplette englische und deutsche Installationsversion finden Sie in unserem Downloadbereich. Als Kunde eines unserer Wartungspakete ist dieses Update nicht nötig. Bestehende Webseiten wurden bereits gesichert und die Aktualisierung vorgenommen.

Einfaches Update mit Hilfe des integrierten Updatemanagers

Fast zwei Monate nach Veröffentlichung der Stable Version von Joomla 1.6, hat das Core-Team ein erstes Update zum Download freigegeben. Mit der Version 1.6.1 werden unterschiedliche Sicherheitslücken geschlossen sowie zahlreiche Fehler beseitigt. Nutzer die bereits die Version 1.6.0 verwenden, können auf den integrierten Updatemanager zurückgreifen um Ihre Version zu aktualisieren. Navigieren sie hierzu im Administrationsbereich zum Menüpunkt "Erweiterungen > Aktualisieren > Aktualisierungen suchen (rechts oben). Die neueste Joomla Version wird angezeigt und kann dann über den Button "aktualisieren" automatisch auf den neusten Stand gebracht werden.

Ein manuelles Update ist natürlich ebenfalls möglich. Hierzu steht Ihnen das Updatepaket in unserem Downloadbereich zur Verfügung.

JYAML - A Joomla! Template Framework

Wer Joomla Templates selbst erstellen möchte, sollte in erster Linie über PHP, CSS und HTML Kenntnisse verfügen. Für Einsteiger und Experten bietet das YAML Framework eine solide Grundlage. Für Joomla nennt sich dieses YJAML und besteht aus einem Plugin, einem Template und einer Komponente. Über die Komponente können zahlreiche Einstellungen wie z.B. das Grundlayout (Spaltenanzahl) festgelegt werden. Eigentliche optische Veränderungen werden wie in jedem anderem Template in den CSS Dateien definiert. JYAML beinhaltet bereits alle relevanten Joomla-Formatierungen. Einer der Vorteile des CSS Frameworks liegt in der barrierearmen Programmierung.

Reinhard Hiebl, Programmierer der Erweiterung für Joomla, hat die Version 4.0.0beta1 für Joomla 1.6 freigegeben. Hier wird auf die Komponente selbst verzichtet. Alle Einstellungen sind nun im Template selbst zu finden. Neue Funktionen wie z.B. ein Drop-Down Menü oder die CSS Komprimierung runden die neue Version ab. Leider erhielten wir nach ersten Testinstallationen nach Zuweisung des Templates eine Fehlermeldung. Nachdem das Logo jedoch über die Templatekonfiguration abgeschaltet wurde, funktioniert das Framework wie gewohnt. JYAML benötigt vom Anwender eine gewisse Einarbeitungszeit. Das deutschsprachige Support-Forum bietet eine gute Anlaufstelle bei allen Fragen und Problemen. Was alles mit dem Framwork möglich ist, zeigen hunderte von Beiträgen unter "Seitenvorstellung und Kritik". Das Handbuch "Praxislösungen mit YAML 3.0" sollte in keinem Bücherregal fehlen!

Version 1.5.7.7 schliesst Sicherheitslücke

Der Joomla Content Editor, kurz JCE genannt, zählt zu den beliebtesten Editoren für Joomla. Neben zahlreichen bereits integrierten Funktionen die man im Standard-Editor von Joomla vermisst, bietet der JCE u.a. die Möglichkeit, weitere Funktionen mit Hilfe von kostenlosen und kostenpflichtigen Plugins nachzurüsten. Das Entwicklerteam hat vorgestern die Version 1.5.7.7 veröffentlicht. Sie schliesst eine gravierende Sicherheitslücke. Zusätzlich wurden kleiner Korrekturen am Editor vorgenommen.
