The Chicago Bears’ season comes to an end with an 11-6 regular season record and 1 playoff victory in the wild card round.

The Bears take the road next Sunday to take on the San Francisco 49ers (10-5) on Sunday, December 29th. The pregame show will air from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the postgame show will air from 10:30 p.m. to midnight

The Bears return to Soldier Field to take on the Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) on Saturday, December 20th. The pregame show will air from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the postgame show will air from 10:30 p.m. to midnight

The Bears return to Soldier Field to take on the Cleveland Browns (3-10) on Sunday, December 14th. The pregame show will air from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and the postgame show will air from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Bears head to Lambeau Field next weekend, taking on NFC North nemesis Green Bay Packers for the battle of 1st place. The pregame show will air from 2 pm to 3 pm, and the postgame show will be live on WGNRadio.com and the WGN Extra stream on the WGN Radio app immediately following the game. The whole postgame show can also be heard from 10:30 pm to midnight on 720 WGN.

The Bears return to Soldier Field to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) on Sunday, November 23rd. The pregame show will air from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and the postgame show will air from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Bears return to the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings (4-5) on Sunday, November 16th. The pregame show will air from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the postgame show will air from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Bears return home to host the New York Giants (2-7) on Sunday, November 9th. The pregame show will air from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, and the postgame show will air from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.

The Bears will hit the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) on Sunday, October 26th. The pregame show will air from 11 am to 12 pm, and the postgame show will air from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.

The Bears (4-2) were led once again by their defense and running back D’Andre Swift. The Bears defense forced four turnovers while D’Andre Swift rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown.

Caleb Williams finished the game 15 for 26 for 172 yards and one interception.

The Bears will hit the road to face the Baltimore Ravens (1-5) on Sunday, October 26th. The pregame show will air from 11 am to 12 pm, and the postgame show will air from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.

It wasn’t a Hail Mary this time, but it came down to the final play again between these two teams. The Bears (3-2) were the ones on top this time after Jake Moody hit a 38-yard field goal as time expired.

Chicago started the game up 13-0, thanks to Washington (3-3) turning the ball over on their first two drives, but the Commanders would come back to take a 24-16 lead in the 4th quarter.

The Bears were consistent culprits of interesting penalties, getting flagged nine times, including an illegal formation penalty that wiped out a Rome Odunze touchdown.

Caleb Williams finished 17 for 29 for 252 yards and one touchdown, and led the Bears down the field to set up the game-winning field goal.

The Bears return home to face the New Orleans Saints (1-5) on Sunday, October 19. The pregame show will air from 11 am to 12 pm, and the postgame show will air from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.

D’Andre Swift scored on a 2-yard touchdown run to put the Bears (2-2) ahead with 1:34 to go. Geno Smith’s Raiders (1-3) got into position for Daniel Carlson to attempt a 54-yard field goal with 38 seconds on the clock. Josh Blackwell came flying in off the edge to block the kick and seal the game for Chicago.

Caleb Williams had another solid outing for the Bears, totaling 212 yards and a touchdown pass to Rome Odunze. Williams led the team down the field twice on second-half drives to take the lead.

The Bears’ defense was exceptional in the turnovers department, intercepting Geno Smith three times, including two from Kevin Byard III, as well as a fumble.

The Bears have a bye week coming up before traveling to the nation’s capital for a game against the Washington Commanders on Monday, Oct. 13. The pregame show will air from 6-7 pm, with the postgame show from 11:00 pm-12:30 am.

Caleb Williams had a career day, throwing for 298 yards and four touchdowns. Williams had time to spread the ball down the field as he went the full game without being sacked for the first time in his career.

The defense also shone, forcing three takeaways, including two interceptions from Tremaine Edmunds.

In the opening week of the 25-26 NFL season, the Bears once again squandered away another chance at victory. Second-year quarterback Caleb Williams led the Bears down the field on their opening drive, capping it off with a 9-yard touchdown run to send the Soldier Field crowd into a frenzy. Little did the crowd know that they would not see the offense reach the end zone again until the final two minutes of the game.

The Bears held an 11-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but a Minnesota comeback where they outscored their opponents 21-7 in the final frame, ended the game in another Chicago disappointment.

The Bears started the game at the frigid Lambeau Field, playing like they had nothing to lose. With star wide receiver DJ Moore back to receive a punt in the first quarter, he drew everybody’s attention, allowing Josh Blackwell to steal a touchdown completely unnoticed.

The historic rivals continued to throw punches at each other as the game continued. Early in the fourth quarter, with the Bears leading 14-13, Caleb Williams hit Moore on a screen pass, which he took 32 yards for a touchdown. Interim Head Coach Thomas Brown kept the offense on the field, looking to go up two scores with a 2-point conversion.

The attempt was unsuccessful, but a penalty against Green Bay gave the Bears another shot at the points, this time from the 1-yard line. Instead, Brown sent out the kicking unit, and Santos kicked the extra point, keeping the contest as just a one-possession difference.
After the teams traded punts, the Packers found the end zone thanks to an impressive drive from backup quarterback Malik Willis, with starter Jordan Love injuring his hand earlier in the game. On Green Bay’s 2-point try, the ball slipped out of Willis’ hand, and the score was held with Chicago still in front.

The Bears’ offense took it down to the 2-minute warning, but a DJ Moore fumble gave the Packers the ball at midfield with a chance to take a late lead. Bears fans were ready to witness another unfathomable loss in this long season. Kicker Brandon McManus drilled a 55-yard field goal in freezing conditions to give his team a 22-21 lead.

Williams and the Bears had just 48 seconds to get into Cairo Santos’ field goal range and attempt to steal the win. The rookie used the spacing on the field well to advance the ball, setting up a 51-yard try with two seconds remaining. Santos knocked it through as time expired, and the Bears’ 10-game drought was washed away.

The Bears’ losing streak has now extended to 8 games, having not won a game since beating the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 13 in London. The Bears failed a 4th down conversion on their opening drive, and the offense never picked up, not reaching the end zone until late in the 4th quarter.

The Hamp & O’B Show returns on Sunday, December 22nd, as the Bears (4-10) host the Detroit Lions (12-2). These teams last met on Thanksgiving in Matt Eberflus’ final game as Chicago’s head coach. The Bears still struggle to find a way to win a game on the road, marking 20 straight losses away from Soldier Field. In Thomas Brown’s first game as interim head coach, the Bears stumbled out the gate and stayed flat for the rest of the game. Chicago totaled just four net yards of offense in the first half, compared to 319 from the 49ers. Rookie wideout Rome Odunze added two touchdown receptions, but ultimately, the offense stalled out.

Caleb Williams turned it on in the 2nd half, throwing for three touchdowns for 222 yards, setting up a chance for the Bears to tie the game with 3:31 left. Before the game’s last play, the Bears had 32 seconds left with one timeout remaining. The offense got to the line with 13 seconds left and didn’t snap the ball until 6 seconds left, resulting in the final play, which was incomplete to Rome Ozdunze when the clock hit zero with one timeout remaining.

With that loss, head coach Matt Eberflus now has a record of 5-17 in games decided by seven or fewer points, winning 22.7% of those games and ranking 221st, making him last among coaches with at least 20 games that close.

The Bears broke open the scoring in the first quarter with a Roschon Johnson touchdown before giving up fourteen straight points. Miscues and poor execution led to the Bears finding themselves down fourteen points in the fourth quarter before Caleb Williams helped lead a comeback to tie it. A Cairo Santos field goal sent the Bears to overtime, and then an 83-yard drive by Sam Darnold and the Vikings resulted in a game winning field goal by John Parker Romo.

A stunner in Washington leaves the Bears and fans speechless as Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels launched a 52-yard pass play, which was tipped and caught by Noah Brown to seal the game-winning touchdown. Bears began the game as lackluster as possible; the first seven drives included six punts and one turnover on downs before D’Andre Swift ripped a 56-yard rushing touchdown to get the offense going. A game-changing moment was when Doug Kramer fumbled at Washington’s 4-yard line, resulting in a costly turnover in the 4th quarter.

As Bears fans filled Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London for a dance with the Jaguars, it was an all-around successful game for this Bears team. Caleb Williams showed true progress, with a dazzling 23-for-29 performance for 226 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Cole Kmet and Keenan Allen each caught two touchdowns, giving the crowd across the pond a West End-quality show. Williams continues to rise through rookie records within the Bears and across the league. The Bears have won three straight contests heading into next week’s bye.

The Caleb Williams show was on full display Sunday afternoon as April’s 1st overall pick in the NFL draft electrified Soldier Field with his dazzling performance totaling 304 yards, two touchdowns, and no turnovers. DJ Moore was a hot commodity with five receptions, 106 yards, and two touchdowns against his former Carolina Panther team.

The Bears offense showed life this week led by Caleb Williams’ 157 passing yards and a touchdown. Running backs D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson each tallied a touchdown. The game star was Bears’ safety Jaquan Brisker, totaling 12 tackles, one sack, and the game-sealing interception.

The only spotlight on the loss is that the Bears’ offense looked alive. Caleb Williams threw his first two touchdowns (1 yard to Rome Odzune and 6 yards to Cole Kmet). Williams and the offense committed three turnovers and gave up four sacks.

Bears offense remained stale in week two, managing only one touchdown coming off Khalil Herbert’s two-yard rush. Caleb Willaims played much better in his second NFL start but received no help from his offense line. The Texans defense managed 36 pressures on Williams on his 42 passing attempts. The 1st overall pick has failed to throw his first touchdown in consecutive games. Bears’ defense kept them within striking distance, but their offense could not capitalize on the opportunity.

Defense and special teams lead the scoring production, including a Daniel Hardy blocked punt, which led to a Jonathan Owens special teams touchdown to begin the scoring. Tyrique Stevenson’s pick-six was ultimately the game-sealing play that put the Bears in front midway through the fourth quarter for the victory.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times: The McMichael’s are hosting family and friends tomorrow when ‘Mongo’, who is battling ALS, will receive his jacket at home. Hampton and Otis Wilson will perform with their band, The Chicago 6, at a fundraiser for ALS-related organizations in Canton, Ohio tonight.

The Bears, riding so much momentum (winners 4 out of the last 5), came out flat in a game that was much worse than the final scoreboard shows. The Bears played like they had nothing to win, which showed in the result. Green Bay finished with a total yardage of 432 compared to Chicago’s 192 from the line of scrimmage, resulting in bad taste and heading into an offseason with many questions.

The Bears finish the 2023 season with a 7-10 record. The Bears will hold the 1^st overall and 9^th overall pick in April’s draft.  Plenty of questions await the Bears as they head into a pivotal offseason.

Quarterback Justin Fields led the way with 268 yards passing and 2 total touchdowns as the Bears won their 5th straight home game to close out the 2023 home schedule.

Both teams started slow, but the Bears were able to strike first blood with a Justin Fields pass to Cole Kmet for a 5-yard touchdown reception. The Bears defense turned in another impressive showing, forcing another three turnovers, including a pick-six from linebacker Tremaine Edmunds. Trade deadline acquisition Montez Sweat turned in his best performance as a Chicago Bear, recording seven tackles and 2.5 sacks (6 sacks in 5 games). The Bears led 17 to 7 in the 4th quarter, but the team squandered the game in the fourth quarter after the Browns managed 13 unanswered points, ultimately leading to a 34-yard game-clinching field goal by Dustin Hopkins in the final 30 seconds. The Bears have lost three games this season with a 10+ point fourth-quarter lead.

The Bears picked up right where they left off following the bye week, returning home and sticking it to their rival Lions. The defense added three turnovers, a strong turnout over the past three weeks. Jaquan Brisker was all over the field, recording 17 tackles, 13 solo tackles, and one forced fumble. DJ Moore was getting open down the field, making six receptions, 68 yards, and one touchdown. Fields added 223 yards with 1 passing and 1 rushing touchdown.

Justin Fields lost a late fumble with 3:36 remaining in the game, but the defense held strong, holding the Vikings to a quick three and out with a negative net of 5 yards. The Bears did not score one touchdown during Monday’s night football, only managing four fields made by kicker Cario Santos, who went 4 for 5 on field goals, including a game-clinching field goal from 30 yards out with 10 seconds remaining. The Bears managed four turnovers against their opponent for the second consecutive game. The Bears have won 3 of their 4 primetime TV games this season.

Quarterback Justin Fields returned under center after missing three games due to a dislocated thumb. The quarterback came to play, completing 16 of his 23 pass attempts for 169 yards and a touchdown. He also made a dent in the running game, scrambling for 104 yards on 18 carries.

It was on the last drive that put the Lions over the Bears, when Fields fumbled the ball, causing rookie tackle Darnell Wright to kick the ball out of the end zone, resulting in a game-sealing safety. Rookie Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson showed out on defense, recording four tackles, his first career interception and a forced fumble on special teams. The Bears became the first NFL team to have three or more turnovers and 40 minutes of possession to lose their game. Teams were 48-0 until the Bears’ loss this afternoon.

After a first quarter punt return touchdown by the Panthers Ihmir Smith-Marsette, the game turned into a defensive battle with the Bears only managing three Cairo Santos field goals in the 1st half. The Bears offense finally broke through in the 3rd quarter mounting a 9 play 38 yard drive capped off by a D’Onta Foreman 4 yard touchdown run to put the Bears in front for good.

The Bears came out of the game strong, marching down the field on the opening drive, with Cole Kmet on the receiving end of an 18-yard touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent. Kmet shined on the offense, totaling six receptions for 55 yards and two touchdowns. Chicago’s offense struggled in the 2nd half, turning over the ball four times as New Orleans took control of the game, never giving the lead back. The Bears’ defense remained strong, but the offense failed to muster a comeback.

Tyson Bagent completed 25 of his 37 pass attempts for 232 yards and two interceptions. Bears tight end Cole Kmet led the team with ten receptions for 79 yards. However, Chargers running back Austin Ekeler’s 125 scrimmage yards proved too much to handle as the Bears fell in prime time.

Bagent completed 10 of 14 passes for 83 yards and tacked on his first career rushing touchdown after a 77-yard drive. However, a costly interception on the final drive sent the Vikings back to Minnesota victorious.

Born and raised in Chicago, Butkus defined what it was to be a Chicago Bear, being selected to the Pro Bowl eight times in his career. In 1979, Butkus was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first season of eligibility. According to a statement from his family, Butkus died “peacefully in his sleep overnight at home in Malibu.”

Butkus was 80 years old.

Justin Fields had near perfect the entire first half, completing 16-of-17 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns. His only incompletion came at the end of the quarter, throwing a Hail Mary to the endzone. However, the Broncos were too much to handle in the second half, rattling off 24 straight points to come from behind and steal the victory at Solider Field.

For 60 minutes on Sunday afternoon, the Chiefs dismantled the Bears on both sides of the ball. Chicago struggled once more on third down efficiency, going 4-12 while only managing 203 total yards compared to Kansas City’s 456 yards while being 10-14 on third downs.

A Bears team with high hopes to get off on the right foot in the 2023 campaign came out flat to open the season. Inefficiently on third down (3 of 13) was the centerpiece of a poor performance. Bears’ rooking running back Roschon Johnson scored his first career touchdown late in the game, but it wasn’t enough for Jordan Love’s three-touchdown outing.

The Bears scored 10 points in the 1st quarter and did not score the remainder of the game. The offense only managed to pass for 30 yards throughout the whole game. The Bears were not efficient on 3rd down, going 3 of 13. The Bears looked miserable all game.

In one of the coldest games ever played on Soldier Field, The Chicago Bears squandered yet another lead going into halftime against the Buffalo Bills. The Bears failed on the run, only rushing for 80 yards on the ground versus Buffalo’s 254 rushing yards.

Bears defense kept the offense in the game, forcing three turnovers, including two interceptions and one fumble recovery.

The lack of scoring production in the second half (three points) led to the fallout. The offense could only convert 2 of 12 chances on third down. Chicago has dropped eight straight, holding onto the second-overall pick for next year’s draft.

It was the injury plague that affected the team. Injuries occurred to Tevin Jenkins, Jack Sanborn, and Equanimeous St. Brown, who did not return to the game. Jaylon Johnson and Justin Fields we’re both shaken up in the affair. Bears fans were happy to see the output from the team this week but again left empty-handed as the Bears dropped their 7th straight game.

The Bears came out hot at the start of the game, taking a 10-0 lead over the Packers, but they couldn’t finish them off again.

The Packers snuck out a victory scoring 18 straight points in the 4th Quarter as the Bears could not respond, putting a zero spot in the final fifteen minutes. Justin Fields was in the zone, going 20 of 25 in passing for 254 yards, but two costly turnovers were a game-changing momentum as the Packers fought back for the victory. Bears fans voice their frustration on the disappointing loss.

Justin Fields had to shoulder the load again, going 14 for 21 for 153 years with one touchdown and one interception. Fields also led the team with 18 carries, and 85 rushing yards, adding one rushing touchdown. Bears leading receiver in receptions was tight end Cole Kmet with three receptions and 35 yards receiving. The Bears failed to get anything going in the air as the Bears only managed 128 yards in the air to 32nd ranked passing defense (worst in NFL) Atlanta Falcons. The Bears dropped to 3-8 on the season.

Justin Fields continues to grow as a quarterback throwing 12 for 20, for 167 yards, and four total touchdowns, split evenly between rushing and passing. In addition to the pair of scores, the young quarterback also rushed for 147 yards, with the longest being a 67-yard touchdown run, breaking his own record for the longest rushing touchdown for a Bears quarterback. However, Detroit cornerback Jeff Okudah picked off his former college teammate and took it all the way back, sealing the victory for the Lions as the Bears failed to respond.

Fields who completed 17 of 28 passes for 123 yards and 3 passing touchdowns and set the single game rushing record for any NFL quarterback in a regular-season game in NFL history by rushing for 178 yards, including a 61 yard touchdown run in the 2nd half.

The Bears finished 6-11 (3rd Place) in the 2021 season with the 26th ranked offense and 6th ranked defense with nothing to show. The Bears gave up the 2nd most turnovers in all the NFL. Many questions remained unanswered heading into the offseason, but with answers looming quickly following the final play of the season. Bears are expected to cut ties with Head Coach Matt Nagy in the not-to-distant future, opening up management to find a new head coach.

The Bears failed to take the lead until the final two minutes as 3rd string quarterback Nick Foles marched the Bears down the field, setting up a 15-yard touchdown reception from former Seahawk tight end Jimmy Graham. With nothing to lose, the Bears opted to go for the win and completed the comeback as Damiere Byrd completed the 2-yard reception for Nick Foles, capping the Bears victory 25-24.
