Meet Jenilee, a beautiful and incredibly talented singer-songwriter, most recently recognized from her success as a member of acapella group Kinfolk 9 on NBC’s hit show ‘The Singoff’. Since linking up in LA, we’ve been regularly writing and recording and now finally have a couple things to share with you.

First, an acoustic rendition of the top two songs in the country, Rihanna’s “We Found Love” and Usher’s “Without You”. Check the youtube vid below and download the MP3 here

This past July, I returned to the Pacific Audio Visual Institute in Vancouver to teach ‘Deejaying 101′ to students in their Audio Engineering program; their blog has a small write-up of my time there. Thanks to Ken and everyone at PAVI for having me, I had lots of fun and hope to be back soon!

Creativity Heals “Vietnam Flood Relief” will take place on December 11 2011, at the Electric Owl. It will be a fun and entertaining night, while at the same time raising funds and creating awareness.

All proceeds from the event will provide relief for families in need that have been affected by massive flooding this fall in the Mekong delta region of Vietnam. A significant part of the occupants in the region have lost their homes and possessions. We are hoping to raise funds to help in the rebuilding of homes in this already very poor rural part of the country. The money will initially help sustain these people until the environment becomes suitable for the rebuilding of shelters. This region is where Sophia’s family is originally from so the cause is very close to her heart. We will be working directly with the community Red Cross organization (Hoi Chu Thap Do) in the area.
