On top of this, those performances obviously weren’t held at some random whole in the wall, this solo electronic artist has played out to crowds at some of the most well known venues in the world, names like Marquee, Lavo, Schimanski, The Brooklyn Mirage/Avant Gardner, to give a quick idea of the scale.

Sintra is back at is again, returning for his 3rd single “Heat,” after following up “Boss,” and “Break.” The tune follows a bit of the flow we have been exposed to through the previous 2 releases, but this one could be his heaviest and darkest yet.

Haunting sound design and moment-capturing percussion set the mood as the single propels forward. With one section of the song segueing smoothly to the next, the build up and drops follow and slaps with a vengeance. Not overboard in terms of intensity, but not under-delivering when it comes to what a banger should embody, Sintra strikes a balance that will have listeners returning again and again.

As we have reported before, Sintra was inspired by the many corners of the electronic music landscape, yet it was his attendance at Bonnaroo Music Festival which shifted his dreams around a bit for the better. Dennis Mongan, aka Sintra, was moved by the DJ performances he saw at the festival, deciding for himself then and there to pursue a career in the scene.

This year EDC Orlando is coming in HOTT with a lineup that is tough to beat, this is sure to be EDCO’s biggest yet as they celebrate their 10th anniversary. Leading up to the festival we’ll be showcasing some of our must-see artists for this year’s fest! This week we’ll be putting veterans Cash Cash under the spotlight!

American DJ trio consisting of brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alex Makhlouf, and long-time friend Samuel Frisch aka Cash Cash, is an electronic music trio originally from New Jersey. Together they’ve released quite an impressive collection of singles, EPs, and five full-length albums, showcasing the trio’s ability to mix and master all of their music really showing fans their cross genres abilities.

One of their biggest hits to date, “Take Me Home” feat Bebe Rexha streamed over 100 million times and gained them attention globally.

Their follow-up single “Surrender” made it to the US Top 40 radio and reached #1 on US dance radio.

They also made a lasting impression with their summer anthem “Millionaire,” featuring the one and only, Nelly, which gained over 50 million streams.

In addition to their ample inventory of chart worthy originals, Cash Cash has also found victory in producing and co-writing fan favs like Krewella’s “Live for the Night,” and official remixes for major artists such as Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, David Guetta, Hardwell, and more!

As we get closer and closer to our favorite Florida festival: EDCO Nov 12-14th, 2021, we are zooming in on all the EDC things and bringing you the latest on everything you need to know to experience the ultimate weekend under the electric sky.

When prepping for a festival, most fest heads know what to consider: the lineup, transportation, accommodations, the rave fit, everything needed to enjoy a few days of music, dance, and festie besties. What’s cool about Electric Daisy Carnival is that they actually offer a list of their own very important things that every raver needs to know about before attending any Insomniac event and it’s called the “Headliners Handbook”. A special EDC guide to being the ultimate “Headliner” in life and especially at an Insomniac event. Let’s dive into this headfirst.

1. ALWAYS BE A HEADLINER
“The Headliner connection is constant. Say hello to the person dancing next to you, give high-fives and good vibes, and keep it going beyond the festival gates.” This one is SO important! Studies show random hello’s and spreading of good vibes is the ultimate recipe for a happy soul. Well, we aren’t sure if that’s an actual study but it sure does sound good, right? After all, the feeling of connectedness is one of the benefits of being at a festival at that moment, something no one else is experiencing but you. Take advantage of that moment, it’s good for you!

2. SPREAD LOVE
“While each Insomniac event has its own identity, one thing always remains the same—the presence of our Headliners. By staying true to our core beliefs, we hope to inspire and unite our community, wherever we are.” Love is one of the most powerful and inspirational emotions out there. Coming straight from the heart, spreading love can instantly make someone’s day. AND, in spite of being really powerful, it’s really easy to share/spread the love around and takes you almost nothing.

3. RESPECT THE SPACE
“Take care of your environment, and it will take care of you. Pick up that stray piece of trash. Recycle that bottle. Do your part to keep things beautiful.” PLEASE respect mother earth. We are so fortunate to get to spend time on this beautiful planet but at the end of the day, it isn’t ours. We need to respect it as if it was grandma’s home.

4. IGNITE POSITIVITY
“Our events are rooted in positivity. We encourage you to amplify your energy and share it with those around you. You create the vibe.” Just like spreading love, spreading positivity is just as important. Spread it like the glitter on your face. Everywhere.

5. EMBRACE THE TRUE YOU
“We aspire to create safe, judgment-free spaces where you can celebrate your individuality. However you choose to express yourself, just be you.” YASSS honey, it’s your time to shine. Being at an Insomanic event you really feel like you are stepping into your REAL WORLD. The one where all social requirements of you are muted. You can be free and yourself 100% of the time.

6. CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER
“We all play a role in creating a safe and healthy environment. Look out for your friends, welcome your neighbors, and be courteous to the locals who help make each event happen.” Be the rave mom. Ask your friends (and new friends) if they need water, ask them if they need a hug, and if you see them by themselves, ask them if they want to join your crew.

7. BE OPEN TO EXPERIENCE
“Seek, discover, and participate in the unimaginable. Explore new music, and make new friends. Be present, and welcome the unexpected.” Some of the best artists that are headlining today started off at the smallest stage at 2 pm in the afternoon on a Sunday. Pick a DJ you’ve never heard of and go to that set!

KineticFIELD

The king himself, Insomniac Founder, Pasquale Rotella took to social media last November and announced some very exciting news for the sunshine state! After years of different EDC themes including kineticLOVE and kineticENERGY, this year the Insomniac crew is looking inward with kineticZEN theme. With this also comes a new and improved mainstage aka KineticFIELD!

Looking for that stage that offers something different and unique? SteroBLOOM is the place to be if you want to discover and indulge in the various shades of dance music, from house to bass music to trance and beyond. WIDE AWAKE ART CAR

The Wide Awake Art Car is coming to Orlando and it’s bringing a whole lot of magic along with it!

“Insomniac’s Wide Awake Art Car will grace the grounds of EDC Orlando with a full lineup, Funktion One sound system, flame cannons, and a mechanical owl. Keep an eye out for its funky antiques and steampunk-inspired aesthetic, and follow this land ship to hear something you might not have heard before.”

This is the stage where things get weird, in all the best waves. Experience one of EDC’s signature art cars at #EDCOrlando, coming all the way from Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas to host a multitude of artists under the Florida sunshine.
