Album 55 Information

Seeing as I haven't blogged lately, I figured I would bring you up to speed on what the AIO team is up to. According to Nathan Hoobler, they are working on writing for album 55 and what is so interesting about it is that, they will be recording two three-part stories at our session in July. Which sounds like the AIO I remember. Album 50 had three 2 part episodes. Album 49 had one 3 parter and two 2 parters. I could go on but you get the idea.

Also, stay tuned for the upcoming interview with Paul McCusker. You still have till 12 PM CST on Thurday, June 30, 2011 to submit your questions. So be sure you get them in.

Tyndale House Publishers is doing a giveaway of the new Imagination Station book series! It will be a drawing, in which you can gain entries by doing various things like 'liking' Adventures in Odyssey on Facebook. (which you should definitely do, by the way; they give a lot of great information) The prizes will be books one and two; Voyage with the Vikings and Attack at the Arena. (Remember when the audio series did alliterative album titles for a while? After 9 of them, they ran out of ideas. ;) ) Both of these books are by Paul McCusker and Marianne Hering and, while I haven't read them yet myself, are sure to be great! The best move you can make is to pay for the download. I have done so already and found it to be worth the money. Lets say I was up till 4 this morning just to hear the end. I have also included part 1 below.

Well, the first thing to note is that we have gotten a new look. Thanks in part to EP over at CC who designed the header.

Speaking of the green, Album 53: The Green Ring Conspiracy should be out in a few months and we will here more about that and other things as we continue to go through the year.

Also, if things go according to plan, Matt might be back soon. Then you won't have to listen to just me jabbering about dull things. Just keep checking back.

What is going on in AIO World?

Well, we are hoping to get episode 54 out this week. Also of we know that album 55 is in the works and that Marshall Younger may have a small part in that. What we would like to know is if you think odyssey is doing good. Do you just love characters like Matthew or do you think some older characters are still worth using?

I will say we could use at least a few more adult characters that we know alot about. Jack Allen and Joanne are ones who I still think would hold good ground and honestly I can't complain about Robert Easton and his Bart from album 50. Sometime you have to have classic characters like that around.

Anyway, shoot us your thoughts via comments and keep you eyes peeled for the next podcast.

A Few Updates On AIO

I have a few things for us that are rather interesting.

Album 52 is in the house! I am so pumped about this item. It is rather interesting that they stuck with the grey and black after stating somewhere it wasn't final. Maybe I am wrong on that.

The album art for album 1 has made it's appearance. I like the fact that while it is pretty much the same picture. It looks rather different.

The album 5 art is also out. In this album art. We get a true back head view of Whit. It is also interesting that we have the horses and I guess Richard or Regis on the hill in the background.

Overall, I think we have some great things headed our way. I look foward to seeing what else AIO has in store for us. As I always say, the best is yet to come!

Today the official podcast released their tribute to Paul Herliger. While I thought it was alot like the one for Walker, it was also different, if that makes any sense. I don't really want to put it this way but for Walker, since he was one of the original cast, it is like he had more of a closeness to us.
