Cannon Mountain 2012 Left Overs

I had some footage left over from a trip to Cannon Mountain on March 2nd this year, so I figured I would make a short video with it. This was a decent powder day, I went up hoping to take advantage of the Mittersill expansion, but unfortunately it was still a little shallow as I was a little late hiking out. Regardless this was still one of the better days on the east coast this season.

Superpark 16: Day 5 Video

This year’s Snowboarding Magazine Superpark 16 was more progressive than your grandmother rocking a blu-ray player. Triple corks galore (Seb Toots & Mark Hoyt) as well as some unique style from many other riders made it an event to go down in the books. Combined with some crazy antics and one of the smoothest 360 double methods I have ever seen by Cody Rosenthall made this Day 5 video highly enjoyable.

Jørn Simen Aabøe 1440 “Triple Cork”

Jørn Simen Aabøe, a Norwegian Billabong rider, landed the worlds first frontside “triple cork” in the Vierli Mountains in Norway on April 29th 2012. To me this is just ridiculous, but you can’t deny the huge amount of skill and balls to pull something like this off. His stylish front flips just appeal to me more I guess. Either way, two thumbs up… now what?

Rode some trees at Bretton Woods recently with a few friends. Not the freshest of tracks, but still some good powder laying around. Love these woods regardless, and we all had great time.

The forecast called for something like 2-4″ inches so I paid no attention. Got up the next morning late, made some coffee, check the snow report… low and behold they got 10 inches at Cannon! So I quickly packed it up and headed north, unfortunately I was a bit late to get some good fresh lines, but still had a blast. Watch towards the end for the best face shots
