I’m raising money for my next record on Kickstarter.com, and they make you put up a video that explains what you’re raising money for.

Instead of doing that, I thought it would be more fun to do things like attempt to break into the Warner Bros music building, and play dubstep in Starbucks.

LA Songwriter Series With PAZ

Coffee Bean is presenting showcases for 3 up-and-coming LA songwriters in the month of February. I’ll play a 30 minute unplugged set live from their flagship location on Sunset and Argyle this February 23rd at 7pm.

The super special show will be broadcast live online by StageIt — there are only 200 tickets available for the webshow, and they’re going fast. You can buy one here for whatever you feel like paying. The suggested ticket price is $5, which helps supports me so I can keep playing shows and giving away free music!

Just leaked a new single to the VIP List! It’ll drop publically on Friday.

“Look At My Ghosts” is the 2nd single from the upcoming mixtape Young Broke & Fameless 2. It’s a Deadmau5 vs. Chris Brown/Busta Rhymes mashup, with me doing the verses over an electro beat. Sound sorta different? It kinda is.

As the year draws to a close, it turns out we made a couple “Best of 2011″ lists.

Gawker put us on its “Heroes of 2011” along with Alec Baldwin and Barney Frank. We couldn’t be prouder to be on a stranger list.

And Failbook has us at #4 on its Best of 2011 countdown, for… well you know what.

Happy new year, let’s all kill it in 2012.
