Wholesale Supplies Plus is in the process of producing a video that will demonstrate how easy it is to make your own liquid sparkle micas. In the event you wish to make liquid mica for future use, the video also provides a recipe. Look for the video to be released on 11/4/2009.

I know that change is hard and this product will be missed by many customers. I really do think you will find that making your own liquid sparkles is a much more cost effective method of coloring products.

After much thought and discussion on industry needs I have volunteered to speak on the following (2) topics:

1. Creativity vs. Compliance

2. What is MP Soap and how is it produced?

The convention is being held in Denver, Colorado April 30 – May 2nd.

Embed Paper - Update

We have had several calls regarding our embed paper.

It seems that after several days some people are have having trouble with color migration in melt and pour soap.

We have done extensive testing and despite the manufacturer's claims these are our findings:

Colors printed from an ink jet printer will experience color migration or bleeding.
When using an ink jet printer, sealing designs with hair spray and clear sealants did not help....designs still migrated.
When using an ink jet printer, allowing designs to dry for 3 days did not help....designs still migrated.
Designs printed from a color laser printer did not migrate. They stay crisp and clear. No sealants or cure time was needed.

It is believed that the color laser printed designs did not migrate in melt and soap soap because a pour temp of 125-130º F does not disturb the thermal color bond between the ink and the paper.

I hope this added information helps you succeed in your project designs. This is a great paper with loads of fun possibilities.
