Server Outage

It appeared that one of our email server is having power outage. Therefore, you may facing problem sending email using WhoReadMe service. We already contacted data center to resolve the issue.

Delay in Notification

Our mail server has been attacked by spammers in past few days. This lead to delay in all outgoing emails including notification, password reminder, account confirmation email, and verification emails. The issue has been resolved and you should receive notification as usual only all our email servers clear out all queued emails.

I'm apologized that email server maintenance took longer than what I expected. I made a mistake in the DNS settings which causing all emails not being created.

Email Delivery Issue

Some of users may find out their email was stucked at "Sending" state earlier today. The root cause is one of our email server was down. The server is back online, and email develiry is working as normal now. We we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Notification Options

Notification options is added under Account > Settings. You can now choose where notifications from WhoReadMe will send to. Four options at this moment:

Send notification to primary email address,
originating email address,
Twitter account,
or Boxcar notification on iOS device.

The New WhoReadMe with New Features

After few months of development, the upgraded WhoReadMe is finally here. Sorry for the wait and issues during this period as I only able to do it on my spare time.

Here is the summary of new features and upgrade list:

Migrated to new server with better setup and faster performance, can you feel it?
Improved User Interface (UI).
Able to print and export tracking result to text, CSV file.
Schedule your email to send it later and adjust the delivery time.
Tracks your email continuously with time limit.
Pause/resume your tracking anytime.
Able to add unlimited email account, no longer need to create multiple WhoReadMe account!
Add your own SMTP accounts for better delivery rate and Gmail, Hotmail, AOL servers are supported.
Support Twitter direct message. Send you notification by Twitter when your email is opened.
New Subject Commands where you can send and configuration tracking email from your own email client.
Fixed bugs with address book importer.
Fixed bugs with email composer.
Fixed bugs with draft saving.

End of Beta Stage

WhoReadMe v3 Beta has been released long enough. During this period, we have collected enough feedbacks and suggestions from users to encourage us moving forward.

We have decided to end the beta stage of WhoReadMe v3 within 3 months and release a stable version of WhoReadMe v3!

Currently we are still working with new features and some performance tunning, and hopefully it can meet the timeline. Feature coming in next release includes:

1. Unlimited tracking period
2. Unlimited expire time
3. Stop/Resume tracking anytime
4. Manage scheduled task
5. Twitter notification
6. Configure tracking period, notify period, attachment tracking, link tracking from your own email client
7. Notifications will send to sender email in stead of primary email of the account
8. Tracking page will sort by recipient instead of email.
9. Tracking result can be exported as printable PDF, CSV, or text.

Meanwhile, attachment tracking, and link tracking are temporarily disabled for bug fixes and algorithms tuning.

Push Notification on Your iOS Devices

WhoReadMe now supports push notification for iPad, iPhone, iPod, and Mac!

We have added push notification through free iOS app called Boxcar. To enable WhoReadMe push notification is very simple:

1. Download and install Boxcar app from App store. For Mac users, you can download Boxcar for Mac.
2. Sign up a Boxcar account in app or from their website.
3. Login into WhoReadMe account and insert your Boxcar E-mail under settings page.
