After almost three years of writing this blog, I have decided the time was now right to turn the lights out on this endeavour and move onto bigger things.

It's not the end of WNL but simply an evolution, and as you know all great entities must adapt in order to survive.

For now though, I bid thee adieu and would like to thank everyone that took the time out to read the blog, link it or re posted and shared the content. Thank you very much!

Some thoughts on the VMAs: It was highly entertaining, it's Thursday and the jokes are still flowing. Special thanks to Yeezy, that dance show host girl, and Lady Gaga's wardrobe. Speaking of Lady Gaga, she easily had the best performance, truly a talent.

Alright, I'm off to work my way up the social disorder enough to have the President call me a jackass. I'd be honored.

Due for international release on October 28th, "This is it" is the eagerly awaited documentary capturing the rehearsal footage for what would have been Michael Jackson’s epic return to the stage, since his last major tour over a decade ago.

As much as it pains me to say, whether you bought a ticket for the This Is It tour or not, this really is the closest your going to get to seeing Michael Jackson play live (obviously!).

Producers are reported to be close to completion on the movie to meet the release date, working their way through hundreds of hours of footage.

In the "This Is It" trailer, you see Jackson promising to "take you places that you've never been before...".

It's definitely emotional!

Young London's response to the BNP

This huge event is happening today with aim to raise awareness of the extremity of the BNP’s policies and give young Londoners a chance to express their opinions on the issue.

Featuring comedy, music and poetry as well as guest speakers holding discussions to educate the masses, this is the amazing schedule to up that middle finger at Nick Griffin et al:

SUCK OUT! Will be taking place today from 1pm right through to 11pm. It features my favourites The Kemistry and Maverick Sabre and all finishes off with my favourite DJ Ordio Kid.

There’ll be a short film on the BNP and performances from Natty, Jamie Howard and James Massiah, all of whom have put on amazing shows every time I’ve seen them.

You also get a chance to see a lot of acts that you may not have seen before. I’ll be in attendance screaming and cheering as always, so if you see me come and say hi :o)

It's just been announced that next year, Guy Ritchie will start work on DC comics anti hero character, Lobo.

If you don't know about Lobo, all I have to say is, what kind of sorry upbringing did you have? Lobo is the ultimate anti hero, a bad ass cigar smoking blue alien bounty hunter who is virtually indestructible and rides an incredibly cool Harley Davidson like motorbike.

For those not in the know, an end to end burner is graf slang for when you paint a train from back to front.

It's been a while since I saw one of those and I hope they make a comeback one day, anyway the good old BBC has a cool little piece on graf art on their website and it's quite a read with videos included.

A couple of tracks have been popping up here and there from Kid Cudi's demo tape, and recently I ran across the whole thing. Props to wedoitrightmag. More than a few tracks are missing, but hey ... some Cudi is better than no Cudi.

After giving it a quick listen you can tell that Cudi's style hasn't really changed. He's always been making dope music that hasn't really had a genre. A pretty dope listen.

Forget Jay Z's album, I'm more hyped about OB4CL II.

And that's coming from a big Jay Z fan, nothing new I've heard from him has moved me. But it seems like Raekwon cannot do any wrong right now.

Trevor Smith a.k.a Busta Rhymes has always held the crown as hip hop's clown prince. Even when he was reciting some of the hardest darkest spine tingling verses on albums, he still managed to pepper them with his own brand of humour.

So now that his albums are barely breaking even anymore, would it be wrong to suggest he diversify his career into comedy writing or conceptualizing?

Mitch Feinberg photographs some of the accessories worn by French dance demi gods, Daft Punk.

The tone captured in the pictures of their masks and gloves are amazing. Funny, thinking back a few weeks I could have sworn I saw a magazine cover with one of these images in Borders.

Heath Ledger died before completing a few things in his lifetime, one of them was the concept to a video for Modest Mouse's, "King Rat" single.

"Ledger was formulating a concept for the video to accompany Modest Mouse’s single, “King Rat”, after meeting lead singer Isaac Brock in Australia three years ago. It was to highlight the illegal whale hunting being carried out off the Australian coast with proceeds from sales of the video going to a conservation charity. After Ledger’s death, Daniel Auber took over the directing duties, and the result - a sketchy, jaunty Moby Dick’s revenge - is a fittingly dark and intriguing tribute."

Great idea, means well but for some reason watching this demo makes me chuckle.

You're probably thinking what you see before you is either, a hoax or some elaborately designed radio made to look like a rock.

I'm sorry to inform you that both your guesses are wrong. What you see before you is in fact a radio, made from, yes you guessed it...a rock.

It's the work of a Danish (Those car ray zeee Euros) designer called, Guus Oosterbaan. If you take a look at his blog here, you will see a video of him actually playing the radio.

Who said rock radio was dead, eh?
