We're facing a network failure at our hosting provider that's taken Wikispaces offline. We're working as quickly as possible with our hosting provider to work this out. We'll keep you apprised of the details. Update - a router failure at our hosting provider caused this outage, lasting from 7:40 AM PST - 7:56 AM PST. We're working with them to understand the root cause of this failure. Update 2 As of 8:28 AM PST, we're seeing a recurrence of the same problem. Will advise. Update 3 our provider is working with Cisco TAC to resolve the problem, we're hopeful that networking will be restored soon. Update 4 Networking is partially restored, we're bringing the site back up in pieces. Update 5 as of 10:06 AM PST, we're back online. Thanks for your patience. - jbyers

Part of our service is overloaded at the moment causing slow pages and some requests to go to the status page. We're working as fast as possible to resolve this. Update the problem is fixed, caused by a suspicious flood of requests we're investigating. - jbyers

The site was offline for 12 minutes due to a network split that causes half our servers to not be able to reach the other half. We're investigating why this happened with our network provider and what steps we can take to avoid similar problems in the future. Update: the root cause was a power outage affecting a portion of our servers and network switches. - jbyers
