Underground Steam Valves

A uniquely designed blowoff valve for underground steam service is completing its first six months of field-testing. A precise throttling device, this valve features a parabolic disc and is operated without any threads being exposed to steam. This leads to a significantly extended service life.

The design is non-rising stem that is totally enclosed. The valve is typically operated by an extended Tee-Head wrench but could also be used with a reach-rod or floorstand.
