Researcher has shown that the risk of cot death, also known as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), can be reduced by following these important steps:

Do not smoke during pregnancy.

Consider breastfeeding your baby.

Place your baby on his or her back (and not his tummy or side to sleep).

Place your baby with his or her feet to the foot of the cot, preventing them from wiggling under the sheets and blankets.

Cover your baby up to the shoulders with layers of sheets and/or thin blankets. Tuck them under a firm mattress, preventing them from covering your baby’s face.

Keep your baby warm, but not hot. Keep baby’s head uncovered.

Keep pillows and soft objects out of the cot.

Place the cot next to your bed until the baby is at least six months old.

Use a pacifier (or dummy) after breastfeeding is established. Stop using pacifier between six and 12 months old to prevent dental and speech problems.

Never sleep with your baby in the bed or while sitting on a sofa or armchair.

Do not let anyone smoke in the same room as your baby.

See a doctor if your baby appears unwell.

This simple yet effective ways o avoid SIDS is definitely recommended if you have a baby at home specificallt for those Mom’s out there who wish to race their child into better a happy life. Okay! that;s it for now ’cause I still have to check this best fat burner for my colleagues here in Abu Dhabi. Take responsible for your own baby Mothers!

I think my employer is about to start making redundancies. I am from Philippines. I am worried that I will have to leave the UAE. What happens to my visa? The normal situation if your employment is terminated in the UAE is that your employer will need to cancel your visa as your sponsor. You will then have 30 days to leave the UAE from the date your visa is cancelled and you will not be able to return for six months.

Last week an announcement was made by the Ministry that it wishes to table a new law allowing expatries who have been made redundant to remain in the UAE for three to six months. With or without the change the overall position in that wihtout employment you will not able to remain in the UAE in the medium term.

Our understanding is that this new measure is designed to assist employees with findings new work by providing a longer breathing space. If you are able to find new employment, your current employer should provide a “No Objection Certificate” and your new employer will apply for a transfer of the sponsorship - where technically the old visa is cancelled and a new visa granted.

If you are having difficulty finding work, ask your employers if they will allow you to work out your notice period rather than being paid in lieu. This will give you extra time to find a new job, though of course your lump sum payment will be less on termination - which could cause your problems if you are out of work for some time. You will be entitled to a fight home but check your contract to see if you are entitled to repatriation of your belonging.

Another issue that may have an impact is your tax position in the Philippines. You will need specialist advice on this; but ordinarily if you have not been out of the Philippines for a full tax year, your earnings on your return could be subject to Philippine tax.

There are steps you can take to make sure that you are ready - get your CV written up to include your Gulf experience now and make enquires with agencies as to the state of the job market in your sector.

As the capital heats up for yet another baking hot summer, we’ll all be looking for some relief under the air-con. Keep children cool and refreshed with out guide to taking the sweat out of heat protection.

Cover-up

When out and about, keep young skin (and your own) as safe as possible. Have a bottle of sun protection with you at all times so you can top them up after they’ve cooled down in the pool or sweated it off running around with their friends. Even on a hazy day you can still get caught out by harmful UV-A and UV-B rays, so make sure they’re covered at all times. Baseball caps are funky and sensible - and remember that white may be cooler to wear, but the colour reflects light and can leave skin rather pink!

Cruise Control

One of the biggest dangers for children in the summer is the car. It may seem like a safe haven for jumping into when it ’s too hot to walk any distance, but cars can really heat up - even when parked in the shade. The temperature in a car can reach well above 60 degrees in as little as ten minutes depending on the heat, humidity and whether the windows are closed. Darker cars or cars that have lots of windows heat up even faster. Never leave a child unattended in the car even if it is for a short time.

Try and start up the car a few minutes before the family pile in for a journey. This way the air conditioning has time to get to work, cooling the car to amore bearable temperature. Also remember that upholstery - especially leather - can get particularly hot. Touch the car seat lightly with your hand before letting your children sit downl hot seats can hurt - and may even burn a young child.

So, if your one of those people aho are now leaving in Abu Dhabi or in some several states of UAE then better protect your child now before they got exposed to the hottest months of the year. Okay! Let me check this barcode scanner before I proceed to my second post for the day. Take care of you skin everyone!

Seth Rogen plays manic-depressive security guard Ronnie Barnhardt, who works at Forest Ridge Mall. After a series of flasher incidents at the shopping centre, Ronnie takes it upon himself to foil the trouble-maker but id ridiculed and humiliated by his colleagues - and the girl of his dreams. Determined to prove himself and stop the anonymous flasher, Ronnie sets out to earn respect and become a police officer to prove himself to his colleagues.

With mildly humorous moments,Observe and report does little more than produce a lacklustre story with some rather poor acting. Reserve this film-flop for the bargain bin pick-up on a quite weekend. This movie will air in the theather around the globe. So if you guys are fond to this type of movie genres then I bet you have to hurry now and catch this amazing movie. Okay!

Facial aren’t really on regular must do beauty agenda, but with the rising heat outside versus the rising air-con indoors, our skin’s looking a little less than perfect. Luckily, we’ve found the cure to dull and dry skin at the hands of oriental spa and fitness. Like most of the independent spas and beauty spots dotted around Abu Dhabi, oriental is tucked discreetly away at the side of a residential street(in Khalidiya). From the outside you could be forgiven for missing it altogether.

Step inside however and there’s no mistaking that the renovated villa is a popular skin-care sanctuary and home for general well-being. There’s not a chipped nail or stray hair in sight on any of the staff and every female leaving whatever they’ve had! Signing myself up for some rest and recovery, I’m whisked off the off to resolve my skin dilemmas with an Algomega Warm Treatment.

I always feel the need to apologize when my face is under inspection. I almost wince as my make-up is smoothly removed. However, my beautician has obviously seen it all before and doesn’t even squeal at my larger-than-life pores while she preps and massages my skin with a cooling lotion before placing hot flannels over my face (to increase my pores to monstrous proportions).

There’s a slight similarity to being in the dentist’s chair as a harsh light is turned on and directed over my skin as my imperfections are scrutinized and squeezed with some precision. Just like Thankfully, the light is switched off again as the beautician busies around grinding up fresh ingredients which are then pasted over my face. Despite the explicit name of the treatment, I’m still surprised to feel the warm tingle of the paste as it’s spread on. All that’s left for me to do then is lie back and wait for twenty minutes while hopefully miracles work beneath the warm cream.

I’m actually woken up twenty minutes later-the warmth of the cream and the clam surroundings having relaxed me into a slumber. The paste has now turned into a mask and it’s lightly peeled away from my skin. A few more sweeping strokes of moisturizing lotion and the treatment is complete. I’m assured that within a few days, my existing imperfections will have gone. Despite looking a bit of a state when I leave teh spa - having had my hair scraped back from my face - my skin does look and feel good. And as the beautician promised, I note my skins’s improvement a few days down the line; my blemishes have vanished, and my skin appears to look healthier and feel softer. Not only am I convinced that a facial at Oriental will become a regular beauty routine, but I may actually look after my skin a little better now it’s been given a new lease of life. You guys might be interested ephedra sinica to this too? Check it out!

Just recently this week I moved out already from our company’s accommodation. As I changed the status of my work and position I need to change my accommodation too. As per the company rule, annual employees should received their accommodation allowance instead of food allowance. Actually, as I received my new position at work everything has changed too. My accommodation, my job task and some several things pertaining to the said job. It was definitely interesting and quite challenging but personally I’m not satisfied on the compensation for the said position. I don’t want to demand as of now maybe a couple of months from now I guess I have too. As the job is not easy and it requires a lot of my time, knowledge and patience.

As I owe the said position, I also have the choice to moved out from the company accommodation. In fact, as of now and as I write this post I’m already here in my new accommodation where I have a new friends too. They were all marvelous and pretty amazing ’cause they welcome me into this place. Though I have several adjustments but I know I can handle it as they were all nice to me specially my room mates who are so nice and kind hearted. Thank you guys for accepting me here!

Anyway, my life here in abroad is pretty fast! I never thought that its been almost a year that I been working here! Wohh… Thanks to those people who in one way helps me a lot to surpassed all the trials I been through in this place specially my Aunt and relatives here, friends whom I never thought I they were generous and kind, work mates who are patient in teaching me even though they keep on hearing an alarms for break time still they were kind to teach me everything that I need to know at work. Thanks all guys!

I told her that I actually know several companies who offers a great deal online for the said business. One of that is the ATT Bundles whom I know has a reliable and excellent service for the said connection. According to their website as I visit it, you can save a big cash if you will avail the three connections that are usually needed at home which is the satellite connection, internet, and phone. Aside from that, their offerings is the most competitive one compared to the other provider in town.
