While it may lack the vast number of apps featured in the respective application stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) it’s been almost universally heralded for it’s home screen featuring “live tiles” and “hubs” which enables advanced integration of social content (and more). WP also has features like “Threads” messaging which basically enables the user to seamlessly continue conversations through several platforms (e.g. SMS, Facebook and Live Messenger). For Xbox Live users, the Games hub provides interaction with different Xbox Live Features.

The Windows Phone Store features many games and applications. Since Microsoft manually approves all submissions, the quality of the apps are generally of higher quality (in comparison to Google Play Store), which makes for the lack of vast volumes.

Microsoft previously had a partnership with Nokia before finally acquiring the Finnish mobile company in September, 2013.

Examples of some of the best and most popular WP phones series include (but are not limited to) Nokia Luma (720, 1020, 520, 525, 925, 620 etc) and HTC Windows Phone (8x, 8S). Samsung, LG and Acer are other examples of manufactorers who has chosen WP as their OS of choice.

We’re dedicated to providing an extensive – and hopefully eventually complete – resource of all gambling-related (e.g. poker and casino) games and apps for Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system. We originally started covering WP7 (hence the name), but we now also cover WP8 and any future revision of the OS.

There are many websites and resources featuring extensive coverage of apps for Apple iOS and Android, but we were the first to focus entirely on gambling for WP. While the OS still has a minority market share, it still features some very high-quality games and apps built by some of the most talented XNA developers in the world.

While Microsoft manually reviews every submission to its App Store, there are still a huge difference in quality between different apps and games. Our ambition is to help gamers differentiate between apps that might seem completely identical down to their actual names by providing ratings and quick comments.
