Problem: Note -- it isn't a problem with only Windows, it's a problem with almost every clock.

Windows for PCs has a dialog box where you can set time and date. No unwanted questions like „Save changes?”. <- OK

Windows (more...)
Solution: Microsoft can't fix the problem with my little clock, but please remove this unwanted confirmation dialog in the next version of Windows Mobile!
Problem: Prior to writing this, the taskbar's system tray area sort of "slides" when expanded or collapsed through the arrow in the leftmost side, but just recently I noticed that it no longer does that--it just sort of hops when you expand or collapse (more...)
Solution: None as of yet, I'm looking to your suggestions, since I'm also a newbie here. Oh, hello, by the way. :D
Just look at the top of the monitor.. it looks like they made the image in paint... And its a old style crt monitor. They used the same image from windows 2000..
Problem: The folders in Vista seem to not remember what size icon was used the last time the folder was used. Control Panel for example will sometimes have the icons displayed in a completely different size each time I open it up from a fresh boot.
However, the narrator program is not visible on the taskbar.

This happens in Vista Business (more...)
Problem: It's not easy to remember all promotes/demotes, and I need to click Change vote and see which way the number goes to check if I promoted or demoted.
Solution: Change blue background after voting.
Tip: green for promote, red or pink for demote.

Note -- it's already implemented on Windows 7 Taskforce, but not on Aero/Aqua Taskforce!
Problem: Title says nothing...

-- Steps to reproduce --
1. Open a Taskforce site
2. Open a submission in new tab/window
3. Promote or demote it
4. Close second window
Problem: It would be great if I didn't have to install Cygwin to get POSIX-style command line utilities like ls, sftp, ssh, grep, etc. How many of you guys that jump from platform to platform have typed ls at a DOS prompt?
Solution: I know they weren't written by MS, but come on, can't we all just get along? They're free, they're simple and some of them have been around for decades. At the very least make them an installation option.
Problem: Most of the AeroTaskforce issues apply to Windows 7 taskforce. Windows 7 uses the same Vista codebase, same drivers, same Aero layer, etc etc. It's not a complete rewrite of Windows. It's more of a Vista 2.0.

By having a separate (more...)
Solution: Provide some sort of continuity between aero taskforce and windows 7. Some possible options: merge the two, or duplicate the aero issues into the windows 7 taskforce. Another option: allow issues to be marked as "Windows" "Vista-only" (more...)
To do so, one must create separate entries. It would be nice if one could set the same port to both protocols without (more...)
Solution: Add a third radio button "Both" so that the user can choose whether he wants the port on TCP, UDP, or Both. OR another solution could be to make them check boxes, so one can check one of them or both (thanks Ensign Joe). Pick your solution, (more...)
Problem: 1. problem:
If I set anything's volume higher than the master volume, it also, then newly started apps have the higher volume!

2. problem:
If I set master volume lower than the app with highest volume, apps' volume (more...)
Solution: Here are the solutions for 2 problems:

1. A volume for new apps-like control is needed.
3. Immediately after starting an app, show it's mixer in Volume Mixer.

2. and 4. problem should also be fixed.
Problem: Often you happen to accidently drag or resize a window or you just wanna see what's behind...
Solution: Do it like in paint if you click right while still holding the left mouse button to drag or resize, cancel the operation and restore the window's original position and size.
(hm whoops... I actually wanted this to go to Windows 7 taskforce)
